Yahoo Fantasy Football - Josh & Hayden on J.J. McCarthy

VideoWeek 8 Waiver Wire - Prioritize Rookie WRsOctober 27, 2026

From the video

he is quarterback 21 this week and now he's on a buy and then after the buy, he faces the Eagles, the Commanders, and their, you know, interesting defensive front and the Jackson with Jaguars. So uh I'm not too into JJ McCarthy as a fancy asset right now.

QB21 this week; poor schedule post-bye (Eagles, Commanders, Jaguars)

JJ McCarthy is QB21 this week. After his bye, he faces the Eagles, Commanders, and Jaguars—not a great stretch of defenses. While the Commanders are a solid spot start, the other weeks coming up are not ideal for fantasy purposes. Adnai Mitchell is not interested in McCarthy as a fantasy asset right now.
