Mahomes' worst statistical output of his career; 165 yards, 58.3 rating in historic offensive collapse.

Mahomes posted 165 yards on 19 of 33 passing with a 5.0 yards per attempt and 58.3 passer rating in Week 7 loss to Seattle; the fifth-lowest passing yards per attempt and passer rating marks of his career. The Chiefs totaled the fewest yards and first downs of any game started by Mahomes since 2016, and it was only the second time Kansas City scored three or fewer points with Mahomes at quarterback. Mahomes acknowledged the offense couldn't sustain drives and that the Seahawks contained explosive plays, citing early pocket management issues and the need to avoid mistakes against elite defenses.
