I would wager that Herbert did enough for the Falcons to seriously consider making him their full-time third running back and promote him to the roster

Herbert showed enough to warrant consideration as full-time third RB.

Herbert played 11 offensive snaps and 5 special teams snaps in Week 7, doing useful work on offense and solid work on kick returns. The source suggests the Falcons should seriously consider making him their full-time third running back and promoting him to the roster, as his combination of offensive and special teams value makes him valuable insurance for the Robinsons.
