STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Herbert's dual-role performance suggests he could earn a full-time third RB role.

Herbert played 11 offensive snaps and 5 special teams snaps in Week 7, and the source suggests the Falcons should seriously consider making him their full-time third running back and promoting him to the active roster; he was useful on offense and did solid work on kick returns, providing valuable insurance for the Robinson backfield.
