Goff's 145.1 passer rating on play-action vs. elite Packers defense ranks second-best of the week.

Against the Packers' third-ranked pass defense (73.9 passer rating allowed, 5.9 yards per attempt, second in DVOA), Goff went 8-of-11 for 140 yards on play-action passes with a +0.55 EPA/dropback (third-best of the week) and a 145.1 passer rating (second-best). His elite coverage identification both pre- and post-snap allowed him to dissect the Packers' expertly disguised coverages, particularly early in the game.
