Yahoo Sports NFL on Bo Nix

Nix proved he can attack downfield; ankle is healthy, accuracy improving with reps.

Bo Nix demonstrated the ability to attack downfield consistently, throwing a 27-yard laser to Waddle and executing an absolutely masterful run for a touchdown at nearly 20 mph. The source notes that media narratives about Nix being a check-down merchant from Oregon have been misplaced; he showed he can throw deep early and kept it up through the game. His ankle injury is not a health concern but rather a rhythm issue as he gets back into form as a passer; his accuracy has been lacking early in the season but he is rounding into form as he settles his footwork down and gets work each week.
