Pride Of Detroit on Jared Goff
From the article
Not-a-statue Jared Goff for MVP. After another great performance, Goff is finally starting to get the national attention he deserves for his historic start to the 2026 season.
STACKED’s take
Goff's elite presnap command and off-platform mobility are MVP-caliber; not a statue in the pocket.
MVP-caliber performance and historic start to 2026 season; finally receiving national attention he deserves. Excels at presnap mental command and elite trained eyes in play-action game. Dispels narrative of being a statue in the pocket; demonstrates pocket mobility and off-platform throwing ability. On touchdown pass to Williams, extended play with legs, threw off platform across his body, and executed no-look pass while drawing defenders toward Sewell. On second play, immediately recognized creeping safety and blitzing linebacker to his right, exited pocket to left, shuffled feet, and threw accurate pass to St. Brown on dig route going opposite direction of his momentum; combination of mental processing and athleticism rendered Packers blitz moot.
