if you need a oneweek rental because he gets easy top five matchup against the the Cowboys... he's the QB8 by XFP per game, QB21 by fantasy points per game, bottom three in yards per pass attempt, top three in drop backs per per game. It's all volume. Awful efficiency.

One-week rental vs. Cowboys; QB8 XFP but QB21 actual PPG on volume.

Jacoby Brissett is a one-week waiver wire rental for Week 8 against the Cowboys, who offer a top-five matchup. He is widely available at only 27% ownership. However, the source notes he has been underwhelming overall: QB8 by expected fantasy points per game but QB21 by actual fantasy points per game, with bottom-three yards per pass attempt and top-three dropbacks per game, indicating volume-dependent, low-efficiency production. The source expects Carson Beck to appear soon after the Cowboys game, making Brissett a short-term play only.
