Flash-in-the-pan rookie (20 PPG second half); never sustained production.

Elijah Moore had 20 points per game in the second half of his rookie season but never produced at that level again; Ron Stewart cites him as an example of a 'flash in the pan' rookie receiver performance that doesn't sustain. This historical comparison is used to caution against overvaluing current rookie receiver breakouts like Casey Conpsion and Omar Cooper.
