Davis Mattek on Devin Singletary

My guess on how this is moving forward is that Singletary actually gets an uncomfortable amount of work... Tracy and Singletary are splitting the long down and distance third third down...they don't feel any differently about Cam Skattebo than they feel about Najee Harris, Devin Singletary, Tyron Tracy. They think they're all replacement level running backs.

Uncomfortable workload split; treated as replacement-level talent

Davis Mattek projects that Devin Singletary will receive an uncomfortable amount of work in the Giants backfield, splitting long down and distance and third-down duties with Tyron Tracy, while Cam Skattebo handles early-down work. The Giants coaching staff treats Singletary as replacement-level talent equivalent to Najee Harris, Skattebo, and Tracy, which limits his fantasy ceiling despite the volume.
