Downs has 26 receptions for 307 yards this season; in 2025 he compiled 58 catches for 566 yards and four scores; his best season came in 2024 with 72 catches for 803 yards and five touchdowns. Should he land in Pittsburgh, he would become the second Colts pass-catcher traded to the Steelers this year after Michael Pittman Jr.
