From the episode
Bucky, 21 for 165 and one caught a touchdown pass scored twice from within the six...he was on fire and they stuck with him, which is what a good offensive coordinator does...he looks like what he looked like coming out of his rookie season...The gap is wildly different from Gainwell to Bucky Irving or from Sean Tucker to Bucky Irving...he had his first double digit scoring day...he hasn't scored double digits since I believe week 10 last season.
STACKED’s take
Positive signalRole
Irving dominated backfield with 21 carries, 165 yards, 2 TDs; Gainwell benched to 4 carries.
Irving dominated the Eagles' backfield against Dallas with 21 carries for 165 yards and 1 TD, scoring twice from within the six-yard line. Despite Kenny Gainwell and Sean Tucker being discussed as short-yardage options, Irving was heavily featured and stuck with by the offense; Gainwell got only 4 carries. Irving's 72-yard run showcased elite elusiveness and vision rather than just lane creation. He had his first double-digit scoring day since week 10 last season, suggesting he's back to his rookie-season form after a disappointing year and injury.
