77

A.J. Brown

NegativeUsage5:28

Brown received a carry in the Eagles' game against Dallas, indicating some offensive versatility usage, though the source does not provide context on his overall role or performance.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

NegativeInjury0:19

Adonai Mitchell is ruled out for the Jets.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveBreakout23:42

With both Diggs and McLaurin sidelined by hamstring injuries, Antonio Williams could see a breakout opportunity in Week 5 against the Giants.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveUsage46:05

Bijan Robinson is described as so safe that the source would not be afraid of any matchup for him right now. The source recommends starting him as a solo running back in this matchup.

Insight page

Bo Nix

PositiveMatchup28:00

Bo Nix is the source's start of the week against the Chargers; the matchup is favorable despite Nix's struggles pushing the ball downfield through four weeks, as the Chargers offense ranks dead last in EPA per play and 30th in points per drive, creating a game script that should benefit Denver's passing game.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveMatchup30:00

Braylon Allen is ranked as a preferred play over R.J. Harvey and Emmanuel Wilson this week; the source would play Allen in standard scoring formats, suggesting he has favorable matchup value.

Insight page
NegativeProjection30:30

Braylon Allen is ranked as a low-end starter at running back 23-24 by the source; he is not a bench player but occupies a mid-tier role in the backfield.

Insight page
NegativeRole31:00

Braylon Allen's role is negatively impacted by the loss of two offensive linemen on an already underperforming offensive line; this personnel loss reduces his upside and playmaking potential.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeInjury0:19

Breece Hall is ruled out for the Jets.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveBreakout0:49

Irving was the story of Thursday Night Football, posting 21 carries for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns against a Dallas defense that was terrible and may be worse than before; he benefited from an 11-minute drive that showcased the Cowboys' defensive weakness.

Insight page
PositiveRole3:29

Irving dominated the Eagles' backfield against Dallas with 21 carries for 165 yards and 1 TD, scoring twice from within the six-yard line. Despite Kenny Gainwell and Sean Tucker being discussed as short-yardage options, Irving was heavily featured and stuck with by the offense; Gainwell got only 4 carries. Irving's 72-yard run showcased elite elusiveness and vision rather than just lane creation. He had his first double-digit scoring day since week 10 last season, suggesting he's back to his rookie-season form after a disappointing year and injury.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeInjury0:25

Lamb suffered a quad contusion in the same spot he was hit last week; he has 10 days to recover but the source notes this won't be a salve for fantasy teams; he finished with only 2 catches for 9 yards after being hit in the fourth quarter, following a week where he had 21 targets and 17 catches.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup3:29

Lamb was wide open for a potential bomb touchdown against Philadelphia but Dak Prescott missed him due to being skittish and under pressure in the pocket. The Eagles' defense, schemed by Todd Bowles, kept Prescott uncomfortable and unable to settle, contributing to missed opportunities downfield.

Insight page
NegativeInjury8:08

Missed most of the fourth quarter drives in Week 5 due to a bruised quad from the previous week; the injury was not long-term. He appeared on goal-line plays where he didn't need to sprint, including a two-point conversion attempt. The source notes he would have had three or four catches on those late drives had he been available.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeUsage5:28

Godwin received a carry in the Eagles' game against Dallas, indicating some offensive versatility usage, though the source does not provide context on his overall role or performance.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

NegativeRole28:48

Cortland Sutton is not the worst play this week against the Chargers in desperate times, though the source's primary focus is on Waddell; Sutton remains a secondary option in the Denver passing game.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveRole52:43

Automatic start if available; if he returns from injury, he becomes a must-start piece of the game, though not as strong as when fully healthy.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveInjury0:28

Deandre Swift is expected to play after returning to limited practice; the source notes belief in his availability despite turf toe concerns in the Lions backfield.

Insight page
NegativeInjury47:07

D'Andre Swift's status is uncertain heading into the game; there is a realm of possibility that he misses the game. If he is active, Roshan Johnson should not be played; if Swift is inactive, Johnson becomes a must-start.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

NegativeProjection0:10

Prescott had a terrible performance, looking like he forgot how to throw with accuracy; he was making back-foot throws that were skittish and scared, missing CeeDee Lamb wide open for a bomb touchdown and throwing with poor accuracy throughout the game.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup3:29

Prescott struggled against Philadelphia's defense, which was effectively schemed by Todd Bowles. He was under constant pressure, couldn't settle into the pocket, and was skittish, leading to missed opportunities like an open CeeDee Lamb for a bomb touchdown.

Insight page
NegativeProjection8:41

Looked incapable of throwing accurate passes in Week 5, which cost Dallas scoring opportunities. The source notes he was 'such a dumb dumb that game' and would have easily converted a two-point conversion to CeeDee Lamb if he had thrown accurately. This poor performance was described as 'so disappointing.'

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeRole50:13

Dalton Kincaid has been invisible recently, with routes down last week; however, the source remains 50/50 on him and leans toward starting him, believing in his upside potential despite recent quiet production.

Insight page

Devin Singletary

NegativeRole24:02

Devin Singletary (referred to as 'Scat' in context) has volume available in the Giants offense but has been inefficient to start the season; he and Judkins are both recovering from serious injuries that should improve their production over time.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveMatchup45:00

Against Baltimore's weak pass defense (25th vs. WRs, 17th vs. QBs, 12th vs. RBs, 15th vs. TEs), London is characterized as 'so safe' with no matchup concerns; the source explicitly states they would not be afraid of the matchup for London.

Insight page
PositiveUsage46:05

Drake London's utilization has been incredible; he only had 96 yards last week because he was completely unneeded in the second half when Atlanta was dominating. The source describes him as so safe that they would not be afraid of any matchup for him right now.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveMatchup30:00

Emmanuel Wilson should be started for the Seahawks this week; the source ranks him favorably against San Francisco, suggesting a strong matchup for the running back.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveProjection0:23

Pickens exceeded prediction with 9 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown versus the projected 7 for 115 and a touchdown; received 8 targets in first three quarters, then went to him immediately in the fourth quarter when CeeDee Lamb exited with a quad contusion, finishing with 5 catches and 67 yards and a touchdown in that span.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeInjury23:53

Isaiah Likely is listed as limited but practiced on Friday and is expected to play Week 5; he presents a strong start against the Giants, who are vulnerable against tight ends.

Insight page

Isiah Pacheco

PositiveRole26:00

Pacheco's role is becoming more secure; the source notes that the signing of Austin Eckler and return of Rashad White, combined with the cutting of K-Tron Allen, removes competition for his first and second down role. The source states: 'it's kind of more secures JCM for that first and second down roll because if anybody was going to be able to beat him for that, it would have been K-Tron and it's not happening.'

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveInjury0:27

Jamar Chase returned to limited practice on Thursday and is in uniform for Friday's practice; positive injury update for the Bengals wide receiver in their matchup against Miami.

Insight page
NegativeInjury53:43

In the concussion protocol; status uncertain for Week 5 pending clearance.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveMatchup25:22

Brissett is favored over Jaden Daniels in a start/sit decision against Detroit; the source states 'I would play Jacoby as well' and earlier noted 'I think I lean Brissett' due to the Cardinals' receiver injuries making the Daniels matchup less favorable.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup33:53

Brissett is highlighted as a start of the week in the Lions-Cardinals matchup, which features a high over-under (54.5) and the Lions' 30 implied points, the highest of the week.

Insight page

Jalen Guyton

NegativeUsage31:20

Guyton received eight targets last week and may benefit from missing pieces in the Chargers receiving corps.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveMatchup33:53

Jamo is a start of the week in the Lions-Cardinals matchup, which features atrocious defenses and a high over-under of 54.5.

Insight page

Jared Goff

NegativeProjection55:48

Projected for more than 209.5 passing yards in Week 5; part of a fantasy matchup analysis.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveUsage0:44

Williams saved his day with a touchdown in Thursday Night Football, providing a bright spot in what was otherwise a difficult game for the Cowboys offense.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeMatchup26:00

Daniels faces a challenging matchup against Minnesota with potential receiver absences (McLaurin and Diggs both possibly out); the source notes the defense will focus on the run game, forcing Daniels to beat them through the air with limited weapons (Antonio and Deami Brown), making this a difficult game script despite the source's earlier preference for starting him over Brissett.

Insight page
PositiveInjury53:33

Will play in Week 5 despite elbow concerns; confirmed available for fantasy lineups.

Insight page
PositiveProjection55:10

Projected for more than 30.5 rushing yards in Week 5; the source believes he will consistently hit this threshold because running is a core part of his field presence, though acknowledges elbow injury creates some fear about his mobility.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeUsage26:00

Warren is running inefficiently; the source reports he ranks 37th in yards per carry and 39th in percentage of runs stuffed at the line of scrimmage, indicating the Commanders' offensive line struggles are limiting his production despite volume being available.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveProjection30:30

Jeremiah Love is ranked ahead of Braylon Allen in standard scoring formats; the source notes he has looked better recently despite an ankle injury at practice, suggesting improved health and performance trajectory.

Insight page

Joshua Palmer

NegativeRole31:16

Palmer is mentioned as no longer playing huge snaps, indicating reduced offensive role or opportunity.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveProjection55:58

Projected for more than 149.5 passing yards; source is taking the over despite low projection, suggesting upside relative to expectation.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeRole3:29

Gainwell received only 4 carries in the Eagles' win over Dallas despite being discussed as a short-yardage option heading into the game. The source notes the gap between Gainwell's usage and Bucky Irving's dominance is 'wildly different,' with Irving taking over the backfield and the offense sticking with him rather than rotating in Gainwell or Sean Tucker.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveRole51:54

Keon Coleman's role is uncertain with DJ Moore's return; the source does not trust Coleman with Moore back in the lineup, suggesting Coleman's target share and role will be diminished when Moore is active.

Insight page
PositiveRole53:02

When comparing Keon Coleman to Trey Harris with DJ Moore back, the source prefers Coleman, suggesting he remains a viable option even with Moore's return, though not a must-start.

Insight page
PositiveRole53:02

Preferred over Trey Harris in Week 5 matchups, even with DJ Moore returning; indicates Coleman has standalone value and role security.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

NegativeRole51:49

Khalil Shakir is expected to maintain his target share regardless of DJ Moore's status; the source notes that Shakir will always get his targets, indicating his role is stable and independent of Moore's availability.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeInjury0:12

Kyle Pitts has a turf toe injury with playing status uncertain for the next one to two weeks; he was a did-not-participate on Wednesday and Thursday after dealing with injuries and attempting to play through them.

Insight page
PositiveUsage46:13

Kyle Pitts has played on only 59% of Atlanta's routes despite signing a lucrative extension with the Falcons; he has as many catches on the year as Austin Hooper and currently has a 10% target share. The source attributes this to Atlanta's offensive success—when you're the number one offense, you don't have to defend utilization of Pitts. He's probably not worth playing anytime soon, though he remains capable of a crazy wild breakout game.

Insight page
NegativeRole46:13

Pitts' usage issues are not due to his own performance but rather to offensive scheme or play-calling decisions; the source expresses confusion about his role, noting 'what's going on with Kyle pits is unneeded. It's not anything he's doing wrong. It's just, Hey, why don't I just throw the ball' to him, suggesting underutilization despite capability.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeInjury31:20

McConkey is probably missing, which could affect Chargers receiving options.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury23:53

Malik Nabers is listed as sore but practiced on Friday and is expected to play in Week 5 against Washington; he falls into the category of 'if he starts, you play him' given his volume.

Insight page

Malik Washington

NegativeRole51:49

Malik Washington is mentioned in the context of Bills receiver targets; his role appears stable in the offense.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveUsage33:53

Wilson is a start of the week with 30 targets in the last two weeks, making him an auto-start despite the Cardinals' poor offensive situation.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveRole42:41

With the primary back dealing with ankle and foot injuries, Mike Washington becomes a high-upside play; the source moved him into their lineup as a 'very fun, sexy type of play' with 'huge, huge play ability.' On redraft leagues, he is only 36% rostered on Sleeper, making him available as a waiver wire target.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

NegativeMatchup25:45

Gordon is ranked very close to Jacory Kraske Merritt in start/sit rankings for this week; the source states 'I've got them back to back in my rankings. I've got Jacory one spot ahead,' indicating Gordon is a viable option but slightly behind Merritt.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeInjury0:10

Ramondre Stevenson was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday and Thursday practice with a knee injury; conflicting reports from Underdog and Roto Wire initially created confusion, but official injury report clarified his limited participation status.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeUsage29:12

R.J. Harvey is currently being targeted on 44% of his routes, which the source characterizes as excessive; despite this high target rate, the source expresses concern about his usage pattern and the overall matchup against Denver's tough defense.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup29:12

R.J. Harvey is ranked as a start of the week by the source despite concerns about his route-target rate; the matchup against the Chargers' dead-last EPA offense and 30th-ranked points-per-drive defense is favorable, and the source ranks him ahead of other backfield options like Braylon Allen and Emmanuel Wilson.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveMatchup33:53

LaPorta is a start of the week in the Lions-Cardinals matchup, which features atrocious defenses and a high over-under of 54.5.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury0:36

Saquon Barkley is not expected to play due to a hamstring injury; part of a significant injury situation for the Eagles in their London matchup against Jacksonville.

Insight page
PositiveProjection24:42

Barkley had an inefficient game last week but is expected to improve as he continues to recover from a serious injury; the source draws a parallel to Tony Pollard's recovery timeline, noting that as time goes on, Barkley will 'keep getting better and better' despite the slow start this season.

Insight page

Sean Tucker

NegativeRole3:29

Tucker was expected to handle short-yardage work for the Eagles but was largely bypassed in favor of Bucky Irving, who dominated the backfield. The source notes the gap between Tucker's expected role and Irving's actual usage is 'wildly different,' with Irving taking over and the offense sticking with him rather than rotating in Tucker.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeInjury23:42

Diggs is listed as a DMP (doubtful/out) with a hamstring injury and will miss the Week 5 matchup against the Giants.

Insight page
NegativeInjury53:25

Officially ruled out for Week 5; unavailable for fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeInjury0:31

Tee Higgins did not practice on Thursday and has not been spotted in Friday's practice so far; injury status remains uncertain heading into the Bengals' matchup against Miami.

Insight page
NegativeInjury53:51

Listed as questionable for Week 5; status to be determined closer to game time.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeInjury23:42

McLaurin is dealing with a hamstring injury and will miss the Week 5 game against the Giants, opening up opportunity for other Commanders receivers.

Insight page
PositiveInjury53:33

Trending in the right direction; positive injury trajectory suggests likely availability for Week 5.

Insight page

Tre Harris

NegativeRole31:16

Harris has been more involved on a snap count basis, playing 93% of snaps last week; however, he faces a difficult matchup and the source is not excited to start any Charger in this game.

Insight page
NegativeRole31:30

Trey Harris has been mentioned because he is no longer a huge part of the offense; however, he has been more involved on a snap-count basis recently, suggesting a minor role in the backfield.

Insight page

Tyrod Taylor

PositiveProjection23:34

Tyrod Taylor had 112 receiving yards last week and if active, he is a lock to start in fantasy lineups; he represents a strong play for Week 5.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeUsage49:00

Zay Flowers is still being started despite Lamar Jackson's absence, but the source is not happy about it and not excited about it. Last week, his two catches that were great were pinpoint placements from Lamar; without Lamar, the offense may devolve into backyard ball. However, Flowers can get separation and is getting wide open.

Insight page

Zay Jones

PositiveUsage49:19

Zay Jones is getting wide open on throws; the source notes he's receiving perfect throws from his quarterback, suggesting strong target opportunity and separation in the Bills offense.

0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
0:05Hi! Welcome in! Friday, October 9th, the Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
0:08That little bit of levity here in the air, it's just eye rolls and conundrums from Thursday Night Football.
0:15That game, that game was, what? If people, that game was a, look, it was a disaster, but it wasn't at the exact same time.
0:23No, it was a good game. I was over here pleading, begging George Pickens to have a big game.
0:29Oh, I accidentally cleared my board here to see your prediction.
0:32You were pretty close though. His prediction, I want to say, was like 7 for 115 and a touchdown.
0:38Yeah. Yeah. It was something right around there. And he ended up 9 for 130 and a touchdown.
0:44So pretty, pretty good. Yeah. So I wanted George to have a great game, but not at the expense of everybody else on the Cowboys.
0:52I mean, this was, I think the first time an 0-4 team won on the road against somebody since 1975.
0:59Won't be the last time this week. The Cowboys.
1:02Nice. So Pickens had, uh, eight targets, four catches, 63 yards in the first three quarters.
1:07They went to him immediately. In the, in the fourth quarter when CeeDee Lamb went out.
1:12Yes. Five catches. The whole time. 67 yards and a touchdown in that span.
1:17The, uh, you know, you followed up a week where CeeDee Lamb had 21 targets and 17 catches with a week where they barely had the football.
1:25The only time Dallas had the football and had drives, CeeDee was out and the report was quad contusion.
1:31He got hit in the quad in the same spot that he got hit last week.
1:37He's got 10 days to recover. They're not expecting, you know, that's not going to be a salve for your fantasy team.
1:44Cause CeeDee ended up with, uh, two catches for nine yards, but Pickens had a big game.
1:49Javante saved his day with a touchdown. The story of the night, Bucky Irving.
1:54Holy crap. Yeah. I mean, it was just like the 21, one 65.
1:58I mean, and two touchdowns. You can, it's fair.
2:01Yes. Bucky's the story is the Dallas defense. Not only did it not improve, it may be worse.
2:07Which is awesome. That was, well, I know. It's awesome.
2:10As long as Dak Prescott doesn't look like a pumpkin, which he did last night.
2:15He looks so bad. He looked like he forgot how to throw with any accuracy.
2:20He missed, and then he had two drops. The two that he actually puts onto people.
2:25Ferguson. He was awful. Ferguson. Dak was awful. Because the throws he was making there, back foot, they were skittish and scared.
2:32It was a terrible game. But the Dallas defense, like, if you want to know why it isn't good for the offense, last night's the perfect example.
2:41They were a terrible defense last night and the offense sucked.
2:44Because they gave up an 11 minute drive to Bucky Irving and Jay, you know, Jason superstar Jalon Daniels.
2:50Sure. That's right. I knew what I was doing.
2:53Big it up Jalon Daniels. Yeah. I will say this.
2:56Since we're talking about the Cowboys defense, we need to give a little bit of credit as well to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense.
3:04Sure. Going into last night, prior to them pretty much shutting down the Cowboys for the vast majority of the game, they
3:11were top 10 against quarterbacks, top 10 against running backs, top 10 against wide receivers.
3:16They have been a good defense. You don't think of that when they're an 0-4 team.
3:21That's a good point because Todd Bowles, that's the one thing he's always been able to do is kind of scheme up a defense.
3:29That probably had a lot to do with it.
3:32It looked like Dak was under pressure a lot.
3:35He couldn't settle into the pocket. He missed Seedy wide open for a bomb touchdown, which I've rewatched a lot of times.
3:42Yeah. That was. And it was because he was, you know, skittish in the pocket.
3:47But Bucky, 21 for 165 and one caught a touchdown pass scored twice from within the six.
3:52Dude. All this is so comforting for those who have been hearing Kenny Gainwell, Sean Tucker talk because that's what it has been.
4:00I mean, the hilarity of last week where it's like Sean Tucker.
4:04Did he score last week? Yeah, he did. Oh, yeah.
4:07Like the short yardage is Sean Tucker. And then we leave the game and Robinson is like, we got to figure out
4:14how to get Gainwell and Tucker the ball more.
4:17And they're like, sight is Bucky Irving inside the five.
4:20I mean, he was on fire and they stuck with him, which is what a good offensive coordinator does.
4:26Yeah, you had to. I mean, his big 72 yard run was not what it usually is.
4:32When you watch an NFL game and someone has a 72 yard run, it is almost always a lane opens up and a guy explodes.
4:40This was not. This was Bucky's like, oh, I'm I'm stuff.
4:43It was Frogger. It was. It was completely frog.
4:46He's just jumping to the left, jumping to the right with going all the Cowboys jumping, diving into an empty spot that he just moved out of that.
4:55I mean, it was all Bucky. So he looked fantastic.
4:58A couple of, you know, going into last year's draft, he was, I think, ADP like the running back seven, which felt
5:06maybe higher than what his ceiling should be at that point.
5:09And obviously he disappointed had a bad injury to look back on.
5:13I didn't realize it was that high. Yeah. And so now it's like that's he looks like what he looked like coming out of his rookie season.
5:22It's the gap is wildly different from Gainwell to Bucky Irving or from Sean Tucker to Bucky Irving.
5:28I mean, Gainwell got four carries. Chris Godwin got a carry.
5:31The Buka got a carry. So they're not like this isn't the timeshare.
5:35No, it was a big game for Todd Bowles because if he blew it at the end of that one, he was probably saying goodbye to this team.
5:44They tried. Well, it was nonsensical what happened. Dude, I am.
5:48I am all. You're Mr. Go for. I am destroy.
5:51Just snuff the flame. Everything. No chance. You're on the one.
5:55And even I'm like, that's a three score game, though.
5:58If you just kick it, then they have to score two touchdowns and something else like that's you just take the points.
6:05Yeah. But also, you've got to be able to get a yard.
6:09And they almost blew it. A Buka got into the end zone, not through the air, but on the ground on an end around run 14 yards.
6:18But he had his first double digit scoring day.
6:20Probably the first one since you benched him or something out there.
6:24But I mean, he hasn't scored double digits since I believe week 10 last season.
6:29So it's been a minute. And I wouldn't doubt if people did bench him considering I would have benched him.
6:36And so they just need a Baker out of the way.
6:39And Jaylon Daniels to come in here and set up scoring opportunities.
6:43The Baker might be back soon, by the way.
6:46They were talking on the broadcast a little sooner than expected.
6:50Like if Ferguson doesn't cause that interception at the end of the game, with the way that the momentum was going, Dallas was going to score.
6:58Absolutely. And even before. Because he was wide open when he caused that interception, by the way.
7:03Yes. They would have been at like the 12 on first down.
7:07And also, Daron Bland dropped a game, a potential game tying pick six.
7:12An easy one. It was like Dallas did everything they could to lose this game.
7:16Papa Josh could have caught that thing. Well, it's not.
7:20Yeah, I've seen stone hands out there. He couldn't take handoffs, remember?
7:23Wait, was that the nickname? Yeah. Only because of the catching was like stones trying to catch a football.
7:30It's better than lobster claws, all I'm going to say.
7:33Okay. I know who that is. All right. It's Friday.
7:36Foot Clan Friday. Yeah, we had one guy that would catch.
7:40Oh. He would catch kind of like. That's more like the, I call that the seal clap.
7:45Yeah, it was more of a seal clap attempt.
7:48Yeah. It's Friday. Today we give $100 away every Friday to a Foot Clan supporter.
7:53All of you amazing folks at jointhefoot.com. Today's winner of $100 gift card, JJ the Brave.
7:58JJ the Brave over on jointhefoot.com. Congratulations. And we'll send that your way.
8:02Let's talk some news because there's lots of it.
8:05News and notes from around the league. All right.
8:08The CeeDee Lamb, I just mentioned it. Yeah. He missed most of the fourth quarter drives that mattered, which was unfortunate because
8:15he would have been, you know, he would have had three or four catches on those drives.
8:21Sure. Bruised quad, not long term. I guess it was a bruised quad from the week before.
8:26You saw him come into the game a couple times like on the goal line for the two point conversion because he
8:33didn't have to sprint down the field. But the nice thing is.
8:37And easily would have got the two point conversion if Dak was not being such a dumb dumb that game.
8:44Dak looked incapable of throwing an accurate pass. That was weird.
8:47That was so disappointing. But long extended, you know, time to get better for him.
8:52All right. You guys ready for all these injuries?
8:55Yeah. I mean, Mike was just talking this morning.
8:58Yes. I don't know if you want to talk about that.
9:01We were complaining a little bit about the nature of injury reporting right now.
9:06It's so. With first to market versus first accurate to market.
9:09It is so completely broken. We have, we've already had multiple instances this year of, of people, of somebody reporting, Hey, this person's they're practicing limited.
9:18And because of the way that fantasy football and social media works, you're like, okay, this starts then spreading around.
9:24You're like, okay, that's what happened. So why would I need to go back and double check that?
9:30Because it's like, right. You know, you know who was practicing on, on, uh, what was it?
9:36Thursday or Wednesday was like T Higgins was practicing.
9:38No, he wasn't. He got marked as a, a did not practice.
9:42You know, who was practicing yesterday? Stefan digs. Actually, no, he was, uh, he was on the side with the trainer and
9:49now he's not going to practice today. Like we got to get it together.
9:54Beat reporters. We are, we rely on you for good, accurate information and it is so broken right now.
10:00And so frustrating how the stuff is happening. Well, I will say the, the, the Friday injury blitz podcast that we have will come before the weekend.
10:09Uh, Matthew Betts puts that together. He waits for the official injury reports to come out so that we, we kind of
10:16know actually what's going on versus what's just being kind of, this is.
10:20Perfection. Thank you for finding this, Matt. Matt just sent a screenshot of, we have a tweet from.
10:26Yeah. Let's just mention both. This is a tweet from underdog saying Ramondre Stevenson knee officially limited in practice.
10:32And then a, a tweet from 30 seconds later from Roto wire Ramondre Stevenson knee was officially listed as a non participant in Wednesday's practice.
10:40Both cannot be true people. Come on, man. Here's the problem.
10:44And I agree. I can't do it. I'm not there.
10:47The, the injury blitz is great on Friday to get the full information that you need.
10:52But fantasy is like by nature supposed to be something you quickly react to, to make moves and, and things.
10:59So it's just frustrating. I think to not have the most reliable information all the time because people want to be first instead of right.
11:07The official injury report just for clarity on that one, since we're not the Ramondre Ramondre was limited participant Wednesday and Thursday.
11:14Oh, goodness gracious, man. Okay. All right. Uh, Devante, that was, that was, this was supposed to be the easy part was
11:21getting the new in like the official part. And then the suffering was the, oh man, this guy's hurt.
11:27Well, here's Eagle injury updates for you. Don Tavion Wicks added to the injury report with a hamstring.
11:33Devante Smith did not practice hamstring doing rehab on the side.
11:36Saquon Barkley, not expected to play with a hamstring.
11:39So triple you who in Eagles country. Um, this is such the game that the Eagles, like I I'll tell you right now, I ended up winning.
11:48I picked them. Really? I did. I, I, because the defense was going to step up and he just, it's just the
11:55kind of slog in London that, you know, Jacksonville.
11:58We'll see. I don't know. It's just a gut feeling.
12:01Uh, Kyle, man, on guy turf toe injury playing, uh, basically his playing status uncertain for the next one to two weeks.
12:08I guess he's been dealing with this. It was a DMP on Wednesday and Thursday.
12:13I don't think it was a year. I don't know.
12:16Okay. That's not going to be helpful, but, but they, uh, they did say he had been dealing with some injuries, been
12:24playing through them, trying to play through them. He was a DMP though.
12:28So there's a chance Swift is alone. He's expected to play.
12:31He was back at a limited practice. Ashton Gentry was downgraded to a limited participant on Thursday.
12:37I'll throw it out. Cause it's like the belief that Deandre Swift is able to go.
12:42It's the belief. And then my non guy, um, with his turf toe injury, I just did it for a very low cost investment.
12:50I saw that Roshan Johnson should be picked up.
12:53Just in case. In certain leagues, just in case.
12:55That's actually super smart. Turf toe is, is a problem.
12:59Sometimes like guys miss multiple weeks that come back and they're not even nearly as effective.
13:04I remember, uh, I think it was Antonio Gibson's rookie year.
13:07Like he was crushing and then he got the turf toe and it kind of fell off.
13:13It just, you, you be, be proactive with these injuries.
13:16Jinty was downgraded to limited was a full on Wednesday.
13:19So that's something to monitor. Brees Hall, Adonai Mitchell ruled out for the jets.
13:24Bengals wide receivers. That's a big headline for the week.
13:27Jamar chase returned to a limited practice. Thursday is in uniform for today.
13:31Friday's practice. T Higgins did not practice again, Thursday, not spotted so far today.
13:36So T Higgins, it's a matchup against Miami, right?
13:39Yes. So you, you could see a player that has been historically injured a lot, get a week off.
13:45We'll see what happens with T Higgins. Chris Olave limited on Thursday with a foot injury.
13:50And they're saying that this is new. This is not the knee problem that, you know, you saw hyperextended on that last garbage time drive.
13:58Nothing to do with it. I mean, if it's a foot, it probably is nothing to do with it.
14:04He didn't injure his foot on that play, but that could mean it's worse.
14:09That could mean that it happened at practice, but it's, it's disconcerting.
14:13I saw him at practice and he was dancing.
14:16So we'll see what happens. Justin Jefferson remained limited on Thursday with the ankle.
14:20Jordan Addison limited on Thursday with a hamstring, which by the way, it's very clear that hamstrings got super jealous of groins.
14:27Yeah, they are. We got the word out. Because groins were doing big work.
14:32Butterfly, our butterfly stretch, uh, push. What do you do for the hammy?
14:36That's more of a runner stretch. Uh, get some runner stretch.
14:39You know what I mean? It's just the, it's just the touch your toes.
14:44I could never do it. And over to the front touch toes.
14:48I could never do it. Terry McLaurin and Stefan Diggs both missed practice on Thursday with hamstring injuries.
14:54Good night, man. Yeah. Stop it. Cam Scadaboo is now limited.
14:57He is not in a non-contact jersey anymore. Yeah.
15:00It was an upgrade for him. Um, and Malik Nabors returned to a limited practice.
15:05His knee has been sore. I don't want to hear sore knee with Malik Nabors.
15:10No, no, you don't. Not when you're coming off of an ACL.
15:14Oh, don't, don't get hurt. Please. Also, uh, unsurprisingly, because I believed in them, uh, Lad McConkey did not practice again due to the foot injury.
15:22Yeah. It's really, it's really, really tough with lad the, the upcoming schedule.
15:26This is a player who has been playing through injury and it has not been working like they need to give the,
15:33the problem is they need them so desperately they're Owen for their offense doesn't work without him, but he's not himself right now.
15:41So it's not working with him. Uh, I can't fathom starting him.
15:45Like if he's active, you know, last week he was active.
15:48He, he goosed, he played 34% of the snaps.
15:51He's currently banged up the matchup against Denver. Like I I'm looking elsewhere.
15:55I'm pretty excited for next year, Andy, for cause like the, my guys, it's a big deal.
16:01You know, we, we put work into these are guys that we truly believe in.
16:06And of course foot claim, like if you support the show and you follow our advice, you, you go after those guys
16:13and people keep track and, oh, I, and next year they're going to be like, Andy, the worst picks you've ever made.
16:20It's going to be, it's going to be really fun.
16:23I can tell you right now, some of the best picks for next year, lad McConkey, like Alec Pierce, Alec Pierce.
16:30I mean, I'm telling you, Caleb Williams, I think could come back and redeem the, my guys.
16:35And then dribbling is like a year away. This listen, I know you're early.
16:40I know you're right. I can see the Reddit threads.
16:43Yeah. Oh yeah. Cause we've had a good run.
16:46The last few years has been great. And this, no one's going to remember their hurt.
16:51That's what's going to happen in the Reddit. Yeah.
16:54Be like lad had like wide receiver 95. Yes.
16:57Yes. That's what it'll be. Gosh dang it. All right.
17:00Lamar Jackson did not practice again on Thursday. We don't think Lamar is going to play.
17:05No, no, we don't. All right. We'll take a break.
17:09We'll jump into the forecast. Dajon's dribbling wide receiver.
17:12One hundred nine. Didn't meet expectations. All right. Let's get into it.
17:15Fantasy forecast presented by prize pegs. I know it's a long show, but man, I, I surprised you haven't already brought up Mike McDaniels press conference, Jason.
17:24Oh, talking about the running back room and this, this whole, like the, the worst quote from the press conference was, um,
17:31we are playing different running backs based on, you know, the fact that we make the defenses think about three different tackling schemes.
17:39Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The defenders are like, did you hear this Mike?
17:43No. Yeah. You're hearing it for the first time.
17:46That's not a joke. Please tell me more. It's not.
17:49Yeah. He's, he was, uh, you know, if you use three backs, then the defense has to come up with three different tackling plans.
17:57Yeah. No, they don't. No, they don't. They're not, they're not out there.
18:01I mean, you see, I was going to do the move where I hit him as hard as I can and wrap up.
18:08But now I have to prepare for three different tackling plans for backs with various skill sets.
18:14We can't tackle the same. These NFL defenders. I mean, not a professional defender, but I don't think that that's a problem.
18:21Got them cards over there. I think that there are.
18:24That is getting ready. That's a desperate man. Well, I'll have these ready.
18:28I will say this listening to the whole press conference.
18:32I watched the whole thing and my takeaway was it's not changing.
18:36Like he said a lot of good things about Amarion Hampton, his confidence in him that he is the starter.
18:42And I do think that in the timeshare, he will more often than not lead in volume and carries and touches, but
18:49it is a timeshare as someone who loved Amarion Hampton.
18:52That was my, my guy in part because I thought Mike McDaniel was good.
18:57My bad. Well, look, if they're winning a game, you might be right about him.
19:02That's been the biggest variable. They were supposed to be.
19:05That's why he was a pick. This is why I didn't want Devon Achan on the Dolphins.
19:10Right. I wanted someone on a good team and a good offense.
19:14Turns out the Chargers turns out. Turns out. Yeah.
19:17And I will say this. One of the biggest arguments for it was the fact that they had Slater and Joe all and an upgraded center.
19:26Their offensive line was totally amazing. And now they are all gone at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
19:32Last game, they had four of their five offensive linemen were rookies preparing his Herbro defenses.
19:37No, no, no. I'm just saying their offensive line is Jason's bailed.
19:41I certainly don't believe it's going to be fixed soon.
19:44I will stand 100% by. Amaran Hampton is great.
19:47Like I still, I get all the metrics. He is, he is breaking tackles.
19:51He's yards after contact. His speed, his like. I'm not sure the vision is where it needs to be.
19:58That's the only area that I think is a concern to me.
20:01He can break tackles. He can be a goal line back.
20:05I don't, you're not passing him the ball over Keaton Mitchell, which was, is a problem.
20:10Should. Um, by the way, yeah, that's the Cowboys problem.
20:13They are not practicing the proper tackling scheme. Well, it was, they were ready for Baker.
20:19They were ready for Baker. Oh, they didn't know how to tackle.
20:22No, no. Then they would, when they would smoosh Jalen in the.
20:26Well, they did all the. In the pocket. Smooshing works against Baker.
20:30Yeah, yeah, yeah. But they were just. Well, Gainwell had got all the hype this week.
20:35So they were practicing how to tackle Gainwell. Which is different.
20:39Yeah, you go for the feet on Gainwell. Right.
20:42Only. Yeah, Bucky, you got to go for the shoulders.
20:45Right. Everybody knows that. Um. Good depth. What a quote.
20:48What a, what a bunch of horse garbage. We, I mean, just.
20:52The dynasty show, uh, that came out this last week, we drafted off to play callers, the office of minds.
20:59No one has had a more precipitous fall. Like spoiler.
21:02Yeah. We did not draft Mike McDade. He did not make the.
21:06He was the bell of the ball. Yeah. Who was the head coach for the chargers that we saw Brutton is staley.
21:13They just, we saw melt as he. He did the thing.
21:16Oh yeah. You know, you see the president before and after term.
21:20Oh yeah. Staley in one year went from like looking like a young youthful coach to like most eight year Obama.
21:27A hundred percent. He had a 34 month year.
21:30That guy was, that was brutal on him, but it was also his fault.
21:35Cause he kept going for on fourth. And it never worked.
21:38He's like, I'll keep doing it. Um, okay, here we go.
21:42Yesterday we covered Eagles Jags, the London game, Bears Packers, Texans Titans, Bengals, Dolphins, Raiders, Patriots, Vikings, Saints, Browns, Jets, Colts, Steelers.
21:49Six more matchups to get into. We also have the fantasy face off on today's episode of the show.
21:55I'll start with the three and one giants. Mike and I were just musing on this this morning against the one in three Washington commanders.
22:03Basically saying that at this juncture, I really truly believe all four teams can win the division.
22:08I don't even know who, like, let's just, let's do this experiment.
22:12I think all four teams could be last in the division as well.
22:16Say the team that you're going to, that you think is going to win the division.
22:22We're going to do it at the exact same time.
22:25Hold on, hold on. You got to give me a moment.
22:28That you know the four teams. I know, but I don't know which one I think is actually going to win.
22:35Okay. Yeah. Give me one second. I'll just want to look at one little schedule.
22:40Oh, come on. This is just a gut thing on how you think they're playing.
22:45Just say the team name, not the, not the, you know, city.
22:49Ready? One, two, three. Commanders. All right. We just said three different names.
22:53We said three different names and none of them were the current division leader standing alone at the top three and one giants who is in this matchup.
23:02Wow. Yeah. The commanders are at home in this one and they're four and a half point favorites.
23:08It's a 41 and a half point over under it's a low scoring game.
23:12It's got the problem with the giants. The problem with the giants is you're like, you know, the rest of the year is Winston and McCarthy.
23:21Yeah. So you look at what is the, who's the best quarterback in the division?
23:26Dak. Yes. And then probably right now you could argue Jaden and hurts.
23:30Who's going to have the better second half both have a lot of injuries.
23:34Jaden. So we'll see. I mean, he's missing digs and McLaurin this week.
23:39So did we mention digs? I guess we'll mention them right now.
23:42We did digs is a DMP with the hamstring McLaurin, the hamstring could be Antonio Williams breakout game.
23:48We'll see if that happens. But I mean, this is a game littered with injury.
23:53You have a limited camp scatable. You got a limited Jaquardy cross, you've got a sore.
23:58Malik neighbors. You've got a limited Isaiah likely. So decision wise, you know, his neighbors in the category I'm assuming of if he starts you play him.
24:07Yeah, I think so. What we saw with Winston, you know, 112 receiving yards last week that if he's active, you're you're
24:14putting them in the lineup for sure. Basically the report we got this morning from Jordan Renan over there covering the Giants
24:21is that neighbors Andrew Thomas as a likely camps cadaboo are all practicing on Friday and good to go.
24:27So let's just plan on scat being out there neighbors likely.
24:31You know, I think likely showed with the target count last week and the fact that the commanders are so bad against tight ends.
24:39Like this is a really good start for him.
24:42Mike started the week and scat. You know, it wasn't a good game last week for him.
24:47He just was inefficient. Scat's been very inefficient on the season work is the volume is there.
24:52And also, you know, both him and Judkins, they got off to slow starts this year, but they are coming off of
25:00a pretty serious injury that as time goes on.
25:03I mean, we saw that with like Tony Pollard who had some of that injury.
25:07It took time before he looked back to himself.
25:10I agree that original injury. So I think scataboo is just going to keep getting better and better.
25:16Would you play Jaden Daniels with the new newly minted left elbow brace or Jacoby Brissett against Detroit?
25:22Oh man, that one is tough. I am pro Jaden Daniels.
25:25I think he's going to still run, but with the injuries to wide receivers, the over under in the Cardinals game, I think I lean Brissett.
25:34I would play Jacoby as well. Shock against Minnesota or Jaden?
25:37Jaden. That one I'm fine going. Bo Nix, my start of the week or Jaden?
25:42Jaden. Jacory Kraske, Merritt or, so he's starting this game or Ollie Gordon?
25:46What? Against Cincinnati. Let me, that one is very close.
25:50I've got them back to back in my rankings.
25:53I've got Jacory one spot ahead. One wild thing that happened and it's, you know, more for dynasty leagues and stuff, but
26:00K-Tron Allen, who got some work early in the season with the signing of Austin Eckler and apparently the return of Rashad White, I'm guessing, they cut him.
26:09He's gone. That's fat man. That is wild. So it's JCM, White and Eckler.
26:13You know, in some regards, it's kind of, kind of more secures JCM for that first and second down roll because if
26:20anybody was going to be able to beat him for that, it would have been K-Tron and it's not happening.
26:27But Bill right now is not playing well. 37th in yards per carry, 39th in percentage of runs stuffed at the line of scrimmage.
26:35The offensive line was a major concern coming into the year.
26:38You already have an injury to your quarterback because of that in part, and you have an inefficient running game.
26:45I also think the absence of McLaurin and the absence of Diggs, if they're both out for this game, they're going to
26:52focus on the run and make Jaden Daniels have to really beat him through the air, which is...
26:57Yeah, with Antonio and Deami Brown. Yeah, exactly. It's going to be difficult.
27:02We've seen that with, you know, the inefficiencies for the Houston Texans running game when Nico's not there, the defense can really
27:09just focus on a bad offensive line and take advantage.
27:12Yeah, that's why Montgomery was bad. Sneaky DFS play this week is Chigakonkwo.
27:16Sure. Because he's coming back and they don't have receivers.
27:19And so much like we were liking Gesicki with maybe, when we thought maybe Chase and Higgins wouldn't play, it's something to
27:27pay attention to, not something to count on. Denver at 2-2 taking on Jason's Los Angeles Chargers.
27:32Ooh, don't do that. Don't do that. The Vegas line...
27:35The only has one win. The Vegas line is Denver minus 3.5 over under is 41.5.
27:40This puts Denver... Yeah, I mean, 3.5 road favorites here against the Chargers.
27:45I mean, this is one of the games in the gauntlet schedule for the Chargers that you're like, well, they might be able to get that thing done.
27:54And it's not... I mean, this week against Denver is a lot better than in Kansas City next week.
28:00Yeah. Or technically at home, but on the road against the Rams the next week.
28:05So this is another chance they have. This is the first time the Broncos have been favored on the road against LA since 2017.
28:12Man. Here we go. Fantasy football starts in this one.
28:16Mike, and I have some Denver Broncos this week.
28:19We do. I have Bo Nix as my start of the week.
28:22It's more of a Chargers thing. Mike and RJ Harvey.
28:26To be honest, our start of the week is the Chargers suck.
28:30So what other decisions are you doing? What does the wide receiver room for Denver feel like to you right now?
28:36So Jalen Waddell, his prize picks projection is sitting at six and a half targets.
28:41Healthy enough. You have like... Pat Bryant is now...
28:44He won't be a part of this game and this game plan.
28:48So I feel... I think I feel pretty good about Jalen Waddell.
28:52I even think if he like... Desperate times, Cortland Sutton is not the worst play this week.
28:57Yeah, I think Waddell is a good play. You saw...
29:01I mean, obviously, Sean Payton went out and he sent Sun, Moon and Stars, paid the man and talked about how he was going to use Waddell.
29:09Waddell has not been utilized in that way. He's taking over play calling duty.
29:14I think we're going to see a big game from Jalen Waddell here.
29:18Man. Yeah, I think four weeks in you've been disappointed.
29:21So you'd like to see the breakout start to happen.
29:24The offense as a whole has been bad. I mean, everything's been a check down from...
29:30Bo Nix. He has not been pushing the ball down the field.
29:33Certainly not successfully. And that's what... I mean, when Waddell was joining this team, you know, late in this offseason, it was like, wow, they really need him.
29:43Going back and watching Bo Nix on deep shots, they needed Waddell.
29:46And it still hasn't worked. Hopefully the play calling change helps and the matchup against the Chargers helps.
29:52Just the decisions. R.J. Harvey, the running back for the Denver Broncos, is currently being targeted on 44% of his routes.
29:59Too much. That's way too much. Bo, what are you doing?
30:03But if that's what's going to be happening, then take those fantasy points.
30:07How bad has the LA offense been dead last in EPA per play?
30:1130 first in points per drive. Barely ahead of the Dolphins.
30:15And this is a tough defense. It's a very tough defense.
30:18Denver. So I expect the offensive line for Herbert to part the ways and allow him to get smooshed all game long.
30:25Well, in that case, I don't think it's the best matchup for the Hampton trifecta of backfield situations.
30:31So like, Emmanuel Wilson should be starting for the Seahawks, right?
30:35And Harvey's on the other side of this one.
30:37And Braylon Allen. Like, are you taking Hampton over any of those three?
30:42I would play Braylon Allen. Who were the other names?
30:45Emmanuel Wilson. I would play Wilson against San Francisco.
30:48Harvey? Your start of the week? I would play Harvey.
30:51If you're in a standard, maybe... Jeremiah Love over him?
30:54Over Hampton? Yeah, it is. Yeah, I think so.
30:57He's looked better with the ankle injury at practice recently.
31:00I still think Hampton is a low-end starter. I've got him as my running back 24.
31:06Yeah, he's not a bench. But he's more like a...
31:09I have him at running back 23 right now.
31:12Losing two offensive linemen on an offensive line that was already not performing sucks.
31:16Trey Harris, I mention him because you're not playing huge anymore.
31:20Lad's probably missing. Gadsden is... Gadsden's... He got eight targets last week.
31:24Maybe he benefits from missing pieces. But Trey Harris has been a little bit more involved on a snap count basis.
31:30You know, you remember him from last year. 93% of snaps last week.
31:35He's a good wide receiver. It's just a really difficult matchup.
31:38And if you don't have the other guys and you can focus on someone, I'm not really excited to start any charger, to be honest.
31:46The Detroit Lions at 2-2 take on the 1-3 Arizona Cardinals in one of the games of the week here.
31:53Vegas line is Detroit minus 5.5 on the road.
31:56Over-unders 54.5... We round up. We do. We do.
31:5930 implied points for the Lions. The highest of the week.
32:02Oh, the revenge of the blobfish. Yeah, he's back.
32:05Can the blobfish get revenge? I think so. Yeah.
32:08Arizona... Here's what I don't know. I don't know if the blobfish is calling plays all year.
32:13Oh, I agree with that. I don't know if that's gonna happen.
32:17It certainly feels like Dan Campbell might have to pull a Dan Campbell this year.
32:22I feel like this entire conversation was confusing for some people.
32:26It might be. But it would have been more confusing if we had said, look, at some point Guns Mahoney is gonna
32:33take over play calling from the blobfish. Thank you.
32:36Perfect. We're talking about Drew Petsing, offensive coordinator for the Lions.
32:39Mike, I would have said it earlier if I had remembered.
32:43Former offensive coordinator. I couldn't place his real name because I've called him the blobfish for so long.
32:49You did start that. I did? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
32:51I feel like that was a Mike thing. No, that was you.
32:55You started it. Well, have you ever seen a blobfish?
32:59I've seen Drew Petsing. All right. The Cardinals are real, real bad on defense.
33:03But guess what? So are the Lions. Yeah, they are.
33:06Did you see their defensive coordinator press conference? Where?
33:09Oh, yeah. I called the right plays. It was like they blitzed eight times and seven of the eight plays were great for the opposing offense.
33:18And then he's like, they were the right calls.
33:21And then he's like, well, what do you explain the fact they didn't work?
33:25Well, they were the right calls. Okay. Cool, man.
33:28They didn't seem that way. I mean, his he, the only way that you can justify is the players.
33:34Yeah. Yeah. The players didn't execute on the correct play call.
33:38And sometimes that can happen, but I will say all eight times times at some point, you're not executing on your personnel groupings.
33:45So we have starts of the week littered in this matchup high over under Jacoby Brissett's in there as Mike started the week.
33:53Jason, you've got golf. Michael Wilson is your start of the week at wide receiver.
33:57Jamo is mine as is Sam Laporta. If you look at the start, anyone, I mean the defenses are atrocious.
34:04This is why Jeremiah love even if he they said he's fine.
34:08But even if he's a little limited, the opportunity is going to be there.
34:12And Tyler Algier is a is a break glass in case of emergency type of back that could easily Yeah, I was
34:19gonna say who's got a higher chance of scoring a touchdown this week Hampton or Algier?
34:24I think Hampton because if they get around the goal line, it should go to him.
34:30Whereas here it could still go to love. I mean the get around the goal line part for Arizona, there are five more points implied for that offense.
34:39I think I think it'd be interesting, but Michael Wilson.
34:42Yeah, he's 30 targets in the last two weeks.
34:45He's an auto start. If you're wildly desperate, Marvin Harrison, Jr.
34:48plays for the Cardinals. He does. He runs a lot of routes in a lie over under game.
34:54Marv or Trey Harris? Marv. I'm doing Marv. Marv or Darius Cooper.
34:58Because I have that choice. I have that choice in our chopped league.
35:02What about Darius Cooper who has for Philadelphia? For Philadelphia, yes.
35:06That is the worst because he's got three touchdowns, right?
35:09Marv does score. Like Marv has like 14 touchdowns in his career.
35:13Now it's one for 11 and a touchdown. Mm-hmm.
35:16But Cooper's probably playing 30% of snaps and Marv's going to play 95%.
35:20No, Cooper's going to be probably up near 100% of snaps if Dontavian Wicks is out and Devontae Smith is out.
35:27Mm-hmm. I, I, I, I, I. Kyle has asked the question, if not now, when for Marv?
35:32I can, the answer is never. No, I. Did you see that Marv hired.
35:37I am not going to do this, Mike. I'm not standing by.
35:41Mike was the blobfish originator. What? Because in the slack he said, I started it, be quiet, let Andy take the credit.
35:48Oh, man. He doesn't want to go down as the blobfish inventor.
35:52It's so mean. It is. It is. That's why I assumed it wasn't you.
35:56Hey, hey, listen, those at home that are like, oh, you're calling a person a blobfish.
36:01He was our offensive coordinator. This was, uh, yeah.
36:04If I called my kid a blobfish, that's okay.
36:07I totally. You can't call my kid a blobfish.
36:10No, that's rude. Do you understand the rules of, of names?
36:14Anyway. I do dislike him. I don't, I don't know how he got.
36:18How did you get that job? I don't know.
36:21It's nonsense. They're like, yeah, that, that team that can't win games and sure they put up yards, but they didn't really score any points.
36:29That's the offense I want. I mean, just start everybody in this game.
36:33Obviously McBride, Amonron, Gibbs are your best start. Did you guys see that, that, uh, Marvin Harrison hired agents?
36:39Like he, he, yeah, he didn't have one. That's why the NFLPA contract thing with his Jersey didn't work.
36:45Um, he did hire an agent. Strange timing. Could be.
36:49I mean, I, I don't, I will not be shocked if at the deadline, if this continues.
36:54I think that's the implication is why did you get an agent now when a trade or something might be going on?
37:01Yeah. Yeah. We'll see. I mean, do you want him out of Arizona?
37:05No, I want him to play well. That's what I want.
37:09I want him to develop into what he, he, he, he was legitimately a great grow lollipops in my garden.
37:15He was legitimately a great prospect. All right. He played different in college.
37:20You could have picked anything in your garden. You could have said like cash and you went lollipops.
37:25Just something that can't happen. I wanted it to be fanciful.
37:29Okay. Lobfish is throwing me off. All right. The 49ers four and oh, against the three and one Seahawks.
37:35Here's a game. Yeah. And it's got a decent over under Seattle minus three over under 45 and a half.
37:42I mean, the 49ers have been lights out the efficiency, the success of Brock Purdy.
37:46I would say that, you know, I've watched the Seahawks.
37:50They have a, their defense is ranked very well.
37:52And I had this philosophical question with Mike this morning, Jason.
37:56I'm gonna let you answer real quick. Where do you lean more often when you're choosing a defense for fantasy?
38:03When it's a mid tier to lower tier defense with a great matchup example being Bengals, their middle tier facing the dolphins
38:10who haven't scored more than 13 points. Yeah. Versus, I mean, you've got Seattle who at home, very good.
38:16They're second against quarterback, second against wide receivers. There's six in fantasy points scored, but you're playing in a way that's a
38:23different offense has been pretty much carving people up in the 49ers.
38:27How do you generally lean in generally? I generally, I will take my great defense like the Seahawks are and I will bench them and pick up.
38:35I'll roster two for the week that they're in a really bad matchup.
38:40If the Seahawks were playing, you lean towards the opposing offense more than your defense.
38:44Correct. Which Mike kind of talked about. It depends on the week, but he kind of sometimes goes the other way.
38:51Obviously it saves you a roster spot versus rostering too.
38:55But I was just curious what your inclinations are on a normal basis.
38:59Yeah. Sometimes it like I give the Andy, my example right now.
39:03Now I have the Baltimore Ravens in the league of record against the Falcons.
39:07Cause that look a couple of weeks ago that felt like it was going to be a great matchup.
39:13Now it feels not like a great matchup and Tyler Huntley is starting, but the Ravens play the Cleveland Browns next week.
39:20And I don't really have the spot to put a second defense.
39:24So as of right now, I don't know by Sunday what I'll do, but right now I'm probably just going to gamble
39:31and, and throw the Ravens out there. Do we have to hit this button?
39:36Uh, if we're in between matchups, we should. We're not in between matches.
39:40Well, let's finish this one. Yeah. Breaking news on the way.
39:44No, we've never had a teaser for breaking news.
39:47That's usually interjected. Uh, Emmanuel Wilson will be the starting running back for the Seahawks this week.
39:52His prize picks projection has him at 78 and a half rushing yards with receiving.
39:57Wow. Included. Rushing and receiving. He's, he's a solid play.
40:00The, the San Francisco 49ers are giving up so many receptions to the, to the, uh, to the running back position.
40:07So I like, I'm very interested in Wilson. Jason is an auto start every week.
40:12How are you feeling about Darnold right now in terms of, you know, is he just on the back burner in terms of starting options for the moment?
40:21Yeah. He's a low end streamer for this week.
40:24It was wild. Cause that game he had against Washington, right?
40:27They lost the game 33 to 31. Do you know what he finished on the week for that game?
40:33Fantasy wise? Well, what didn't he end up with like four touchdowns or something?
40:38He was the number one quarterback. Yeah. So the, the game they lost, he was number one last week back down to 17 in a game.
40:46They won, uh, Brock Purdy. Do you temper expectations going on the road to Seattle?
40:51Yeah. Yes, you do. Yeah, you do. Do you play Bo Nix over him against the chargers?
40:57No. Uh, I think I do. Um, the, it's funny, the San Francisco 49ers have like Shanahan just has McVay's number.
41:03We saw that whether it was the, the jet lag, you know, Australia thing to start the season, but they always, they
41:10always kick the crap out of the Rams. The Seahawks always kicked the crap out of the 49ers.
41:16And so I, I, I, I think that the Seahawks are going to, despite the fact that the Niners have been awesome, they're undefeated.
41:24They've looked like one of, if not the best team in the league.
41:28I think the Seahawks at home are going to handle this.
41:32Uh, pretty well. Uh, on the other side, the divisional round last year, 41 to six.
41:37Mike Evans didn't practice on Thursday. Still managing the rib injury.
41:41Seems to be willing to play through it. Is he a active then start always situation right now?
41:46I mean, last week with the injury, still put up double digit fantasy points.
41:51Really tough match, but he's right around 10. Like, would you prefer just go same team?
41:56Mike Evans with the looming ribs or Debo? I think I go Debo.
42:00Debo's looked really good. I, you know, I, I don't love either of these players, but if I had both of them
42:07on the roster, one of them could go out at any second in this game.
42:12So I, I would, I would lean Debo there.
42:15You guys remember that tease for the breaking news?
42:18Yeah, I do. Um, we'll get to it right after this break.
42:22Oh no. How much time has to pass before it's no longer breaking and it's just news?
42:27Ooh. Are we still good? Yeah, we're definitely still good.
42:31Is it what you call it? Broken? Broken news.
42:33Broken news. So the news that we're getting right here right now is that, uh, Ashton Jenty is not at practice again
42:41on Friday and has been limited with ankle and foot injuries.
42:44The foot is a new addition to the injury report.
42:47He. We, and while this was breaking news and during our break, I moved, uh, Mr.
42:53Mike Washington into my lineup. Mike Washington will become a very fun, sexy type of play.
42:58Huge, huge play ability. You guys feel good about that back there?
43:02Mike Washington joining my lineup guys. Oh, is this a dynasty maximum points thing?
43:06I told him my entire goal on my point is to steal their pick.
43:11Mike Jenty on Sunday, man. He came through with a bunch of receptions and everything, but he looked like a very hurt man.
43:18So this is, I don't think this is very surprising.
43:21Yeah. That's big time. And it obviously, if Mike Washington is somehow out there.
43:26Yeah. I'm going to go look at his, you need to make sure that you acquire him.
43:31Mike Washington, Mike Washington is 93% rostered on sleeper.
43:34Yeah. He's done enough. He had that splash play two games ago.
43:38So that's big news. All right. Baltimore three and one Sunday night football taking on the Falcons, the Vegas line here, Atlanta
43:45minus three, the overrunners 43 and a half. I am on team Falcons, man.
43:50I, I think that they look rejuvenated. I think they're going to cover here.
43:54I I'm very much on the Falcon side of the equation.
43:58Um, I mean, and this is just a matter of, I think their offense, which has been the number one offense the last two weeks.
44:06Hold on. I up Brooks is updating me. I guess I was on a, a dynasty team when I looked at Mike Washington's roster.
44:14Only 36% on redraft. So redraft it is done.
44:17So redraft go get him. Yeah. That's, that's a big, thank you Brooks.
44:21I was on the wrong league. Um, Baltimore, Atlanta, Atlanta minus three over under 43 and a half.
44:27You know, we should have a flowers and we don't think we're going to have Lamar.
44:32So you're going to be relying on Tyler Huntley to go on the road against the team that has been able to put up a ton of points.
44:41If you had told me this was just going to be a defensive battle, I would say, I think Baltimore will win that game.
44:48But the way Atlanta is playing on offense and the weapons that they have and the way Pennix has been playing, I
44:56just feel like there's a momentum to that offense right now that I don't, I don't look at this Ravens defense 25th
45:03against whiteouts 17th against quarterbacks 12th against running backs 15th against tight ends.
45:07They're a little bit better when you start adjusting for schedule, but I still look at that data and say, well, we're still forming that a little bit.
45:16So I just don't think that they're a good enough defense to slow down what we've been seeing.
45:22Do you guys disagree? No, I don't disagree. I, I don't look when you were saying you were talking about the Ravens and they got the funds.
45:30I don't view the Ravens as a great defense.
45:33Um, that is worthy of a bad matchup. The question is just, is this a bad matchup?
45:39Yeah. I don't know. We've only got two weeks and in those two weeks, the Falcons have looked unstoppable with Michael Pennix.
45:46I don't necessarily think that that is what their baseline is either.
45:50Uh, however, they're on fire. Their crowd is super, you know, they're going to be insanely into this game at home.
45:57Uh, and without Lamar, yeah, covering the spread makes sense.
46:00But as far as matchup goes, I'm certainly not afraid of the matchup for B.
46:05John or Drake London, nor would I be afraid of any matchup right now.
46:09Those two guys are so safe. Kyle pits on the other hand.
46:13I don't know what is going on with Kyle pits.
46:16I honest, honestly, what's going on with Kyle pits is unneeded.
46:20It's not anything he's doing wrong. It's just, Hey, why don't I just throw the ball to Drake London first?
46:26It's not, why don't I just give the ball to be John?
46:30And it always works when you're the number one offense the last two weeks.
46:35That means you don't have to defend yourself against utilization of Kyle pits.
46:39Yeah. I mean, Drake London's utilization has been incredible.
46:42Um, last week he, he only had 96 yards because he was completely unneeded in the, in the second half of that game.
46:49Here's what I mean by what is going on with Kyle pits though.
46:53Kyle pits just signed a very lucrative extension with the Atlanta Falcons.
46:57The numbers I have are that he has played on 59% of Atlanta's routes, a pass catching tight end who has, uh,
47:04as many catches on the year as Austin Hooper.
47:07Oh, we got news. Breaking news. Kyle Manunga has been ruled out formally.
47:12Pick up Roshan Johnson, everybody. Oh, update on the Mike Washington roster percentage in the nine leagues.
47:17I'm in 100%. Yeah, I know it. It's a weird thing when, when people are engaged, it seems like that's a possible,
47:24but we have to at least report what the, what the actual truth is.
47:29Yeah. So there's home, there's home and casual leagues out there.
47:32People listening. You should be picking up. Roshan definitely needs to be picked up.
47:37And obviously I'm not, I don't know if I'm playing.
47:40No, you're not playing them. If, if Swift is active, you're just, but if Swift, if Swift also misses the game, which
47:47is, you know, the realm of possibility, then Roshan becomes like a must start.
47:52Yeah. It consolidates a great running game against about a running defense to one dude circling back to this game though.
47:58London's a lock. B. John's a lock. Kyle Pitts, 10% target share.
48:02You're probably not playing him anytime soon. Nope. And, uh, you know, he's always going to be capable of that crazy wild breakout game with a big play.
48:11He's athletic, but I mean, you got my point.
48:14My counterpoint to Mike is this. You signed Kyle Pitts.
48:17Yeah. To an extension. Yes. Because of your, I mean, he didn't produce for them for all of the time he played
48:25for them before the extension, whatever he's doing, they're happy with it.
48:28Yeah. It's good enough. It's good enough to lock and do other things.
48:33They need him there. And honestly, if Drake London goes down, we know Kyle Pitts can step up.
48:38He's, he's an important depth piece for them. Uh, he is capable.
48:42It's a weird amount of money to give up.
48:45This game is really, really, really easy to me.
48:48I mean, it's start both single running backs. B.
48:51John and Derek Henry start both of the solo wide receivers, Zay Flowers and Drake London and check out.
48:57I'm still starting Zay Flowers, even though Lamar's not there.
49:00I'm still starting to do. But I'm, I'm not happy about it.
49:04I'm not excited about it. I mean, the two catches, it's wild.
49:08The two catches for Zay last week that were great were pinpoint placement from Lamar.
49:13So, uh, he can get separation. That is true.
49:16They were perfect. One of those throws. They were perfect throws.
49:19Unbelievable. But, but Zay is getting wide open. And if, if, I mean, if we're just going to have backyard ball, probably.
49:27The Buffalo Bills, our Monday night football game is a great one.
49:30The Buffalo Bills three and one, the Rams two and two.
49:34Vegas line, Los Angeles, the Rams favored by three over under is 54 and a half.
49:39Second highest implied point total for the Rams at 28 and a half or 28.8.
49:44Um, this is, this is exciting. I mean, the last time we saw these two teams play, the Rams won 44 to 42.
49:51Oh, gorgeous. The Rams offense. Yes. The Bills defense being suspect.
49:55Are you being game perv again? Are you being a game perv?
49:59I want this game. Monday night. Yeah. Oh my gosh.
50:02Um, I want this game. Yeah. Just start everybody.
50:05Just start, just start everybody. What did he say?
50:08What did he say? Uh, yeah. I mean, what about Dalton Kincaid who has been, uh, invisible?
50:13I'm pulling a Kyle pits last two weeks. I'm still playing.
50:17He is. Yeah. A little bit of the pits.
50:20Uh, a lot of the pits, I guess for when you've started him, the routes last week were down.
50:26Um, I did see a clip of, uh, Josh Allen's pulling his breast best.
50:31Uh, what did he say? What did he say?
50:33His best, uh, deck where they're on the goal line and Dalton released.
50:38It was like, throw me the ball, Josh. Cause it would have been a free touchdown and he didn't do it.
50:44So fifth, we're still 50, 50 on Dalton Kincaid.
50:47I am leaning on the side of, I still, I'm going to put them out there and believe.
50:53Yeah. We, we have a bunch of great starts here.
50:56Monitoring the DJ more situation. Tyler Higby seems like.
50:59Tyler Higby is a fine start at the tight end position in a game.
51:04Fine young start. Yeah. Not young, but he's a fine old start 33 years old, but, um, you know, 11 targets.
51:11Yeah. I'm two weeks ago. Six targets last week.
51:13He's had over 60 yards in both of these games that we've had, you know, we, we've had Puka back and they
51:21just, all of their tight ends are gone. They're, they're, they're left with Higby.
51:25And so Higby is, uh, a fine enough start.
51:28I don't expect a monster performance. Would you, same game Higby or Dalton Kincaid?
51:33I would want the upside of Kincaid. I do think that maybe the floor is higher with Higby, but if you get seven points versus four points.
51:41Yeah. I don't really care. I want the chance at, at a, you know, 15, 20 point game, which I think that's only on the Kincaid side.
51:50Did you guys say that you'll play Kent Coleman, even if DJ Moore's active?
51:54We didn't talk about Keon Coleman. So, I mean that, that was a conversation you had in your head.
52:01Well, no, I, well, I know you said start everybody.
52:04So I just wanted to make sure that I, I drilled down a little bit here.
52:09Cause I think it's confusing. I think, you know, Khalil Shakir is always going to get his, uh, Malik Washington targets.
52:16So that doesn't really change. It's just, I don't know if I trust Keon Coleman with DJ Moore back.
52:22I don't, I don't either. I think that you lied.
52:25Well, I mean, you lied when you said start everyone, you're a liar.
52:29Okay. You're basically saying you're a liar. When I, I am a liar.
52:34I would not start. Canata Mumfield. Um, I can go if you want.
52:38You don't have the real, I mean, the biggest free agent signing of the week.
52:43I think it's worth a talk. No, it is.
52:46He is an automatic start to me. If DJ Moore is gone, if he is back, I think you can throw him
52:53in there just to have pieces of this game, but he's not a must start.
52:57Okay. Would you play a Trey Harris or Keon Coleman with DJ Moore back?
53:02I'd play Keon Coleman. Yeah. Keon Coleman. Injury updates.
53:05More of them. Stefan Diggs officially ruled out for week five.
53:08Jaden Daniels will play in week five. And, uh, they said Terry McLaurin is trending in the right direction as well.
53:15They did. Zach Taylor said that Jamar Chase is in the protocol.
53:19T Higgins will be questionable. Jason, what were you going to say?
53:23I was just saying, I'm very happy that Jaden Daniels will play in week five because we'll talk about him in just a second.
53:31Oh man. Okay. You risked that? Yes, sir. Now, you know, it's Jaden, not Jalen.
53:36Oh shoot. Not again. The line was so low.
53:38The line was so good. Uh, no, you're saved by the fact he played on Thursday night football.
53:44Let's jump in. Fantasy face off presented by prize pigs.
53:48Well, uh, despite going three for four and missing.
53:50What a loser. Missing one by four yards from being perfect.
53:54I am somehow some way. We are crushing these.
53:57Wheel of shame. Did I mention how close to perfect that was?
54:01Yeah. All right. Let's spin that wheel. I'm ready to be.
54:04Did you talk about how I was so ashamed?
54:07Spin it. I'm so. You were technically perfect as well.
54:10Yeah, I was perfect as well. Technically speaking. Yeah.
54:13All right. What does that say? Run forest run.
54:16Oh, very nice. Who am I? Uh, do you not understand the reference?
54:20Yeah. It's really not. It's not hidden. It's kind of in the name.
54:25Uh, why do I have a ladies wig? You're putting the beard on.
54:29Oh, like a mullet. Oh man. You put the beard on the back of your head.
54:34Now do you know why I was confused? Yeah.
54:37Yeah. I don't know why. Uh, you put the beard on like a mullet.
54:41There you go. There he is. There he is.
54:44Run forest run. That's pretty good. I mean, it's bubble gum.
54:48It's not the most, uh, I mean, I'm breathing a lot of hair.
54:52All right. Could have been worse. Yeah. No, I'll take it.
54:56You were three for four. So I took it easy.
54:59Thank you. Um, maybe guys, I don't know. Uh, I thought it was a ladies wig.
55:04All right. Why don't you guys talk more than me?
55:07Look, I'll go right into Jaden Daniels at quarterback.
55:10Uh, I have him more than 30. Jaden Daniels, the quarterback, more than 30 and a half rushing yards.
55:16Now I think there's a lot of fear over there.
55:20Like the elbow. Yeah. Is he going to run?
55:22Yeah. He's going to run. He's going, he's going to run the ball.
55:27That's part of his entire like presence on the field.
55:30Um, at 30 and a half, I think is a projection that, you know, I, he pretty much always hits that.
55:37Uh, obviously the projection is lower. I think it's a really scary one.
55:41Yeah. It's probably the scariest one of mine, but I'm fine with it.
55:45That's fun. Uh, my quarterback is my green goblin.
55:48Uh, we taken Jared golf, 209 and a half passing yards.
55:52We'll go more. Well, my quarterback is my green goblin as well.
55:55It's been a trend this year and it is a name.
55:59You probably didn't think I'd ever utter Justin Herbert.
56:02Oh, mercy. No, is passing yards. Projection is 149.5.
56:05I'm taking the more. Okay. Yeah. Also a part of your costume is you have to have, uh, Juwan Jennings in your, uh, no.
56:13Okay. Now I understand. Um, all right. What does it have to do with the girl wig?
56:18Uh, at running back, this is my green goblin.
56:21B. John Robinson, more than 13 and a half rushing attempts.
56:25Nice. That will be very easy. All right. Oh, says Mr.
56:28Green. Have you ever gotten a green goblin? Yeah, I was, I got my green goblin last week.
56:34Uh, got to drop a little hate. I apologize everyone.
56:37I'm still starting him on my fantasy team. Don't worry about that.
56:41But Derek Henry, 84 and a half rushing yards against the Falcons.
56:45I'll take the left. Yeah. Without Lamar. If you do think that the Falcons are going to win, you're going to end up.
56:52I look, I'm still going to play him. You can still get a touchdown.
56:57And Henry is the kind of guy who can destroy this on one place.
57:01Yes. But I think that the way that the Atlanta front is playing right now, I'll go that way.
57:07Okay. I don't mind that. Well, this one's not, I mean, this one got stronger as the show went on.
57:14I'm taking DeAndre Swift, 68.5 rushing yards. I'm taking the more.
57:17Ooh. Yeah. Me too. Uh, if, if he is active and Mononga is out, that feels like a green goblin.
57:24Um, at wide receiver, I'm going with a teammate of DeAndre Swift.
57:28I'm going with Roma Dunze. Who's been out there getting it done.
57:32His receiving projection is 41 and a half receiving yards.
57:35And I will take more than that. All right.
57:38I'm going Michael Wilson. I'm going back to the well.
57:41The projection has jumped significantly since last week, but I want, look, it's the lions.
57:46We're going in 74 and a half. Oh, you're going more or I love it.
57:51Yeah. Wow. I mean, with 30 targets in two weeks, it'd be weird if that stopped.
57:56Why take, why take Michael Wilson when you could take his teammate, Marvin Harrison, Oh, what are you doing?
58:02Oh man. What are you doing? He wants to wear another wig next week.
58:07My, my, if the theme of my thing is dirty, dirty, Justin Herbert, dirty.
58:11Yeah. Marvin Harrison, um, not a green goblin, but 32 and a half receiving yards.
58:16Oh, I know it's not a goblin. More. Cause if it was a goblin, it would be less.
58:22Oh man. You know, you don't have to do that, right?
58:25I did it. Okay. Uh, are we, so tight ends.
58:29I'm going with Mike's start of the week. Isaiah likely.
58:32Okay. Uh, his projection is same as Rome 41 and a half receiving yards.
58:36I will take more on that line. It's great matchup.
58:40Hey, we're going for it, man. We're right. You want to talk dirty about dirty?
58:44How about dirty Greg D Greg's old sitch against the bangles.
58:48Let's see if it can keep working 25 and a half receiving yards.
58:52Yeah. We're going for it, baby. Greg D all the way.
58:56Uh, ironically, my, my tight end also has a 25 and a half receiving yard line that I'm taking the more on.
59:03It's Tyler Higbee. The more on. I'm taking, I'm taking Tyler Higbee more than I'm a, all more.
59:09Look at us, how positive we are this week.
59:11All the mores. Except why I have one less.
59:14I have one. One of these days I'm going to get just a full hater, full hater lineup in that was fantasy
