NeutralRole

Deebo in gadget role but positioned for more opportunities as 49ers deal with pass catcher injuries.

Despite zero targets in week 4, Deebo remains in a gadget role type position. However, Kubiak stated three times before the Mike Evans injury that Deebo would have more opportunities, and Shanahan said he would have been active week one based on receiving ability. With current injuries, Shanahan indicated Deebo must step up and will have his opportunities.
