Christian McCaffrey got injured in this game. ...At the time, McCaffrey went down with the thigh injury. The most important injury update we were going to get all year was what was going down with CMC. Cuz I will say, I think if McCaffrey ends up getting injured at any point this season, Kaylin Black as the direct premium handcuff, um does win leagues.

Thigh injury in Week 8; Kalin Black becomes league-winner if McCaffrey misses time.
McCaffrey suffered a thigh injury during Week 8 against the Falcons. The source considers this a critical injury update because if McCaffrey misses time, Kalin Black as the premium handcuff would become a top-12 RB and potential league winner, similar to how Jordan Mason performed when McCaffrey was out. McCaffrey is identified as one of only three startable 49ers players post-bye week.
