From the video

Sam LaPorta is nothing this week. I think realistically, it's this just wasn't the LaPorta game. This was the Jameson Williams game. Next week will probably be the Sam LaPorta game.

Minimal usage in Week 8; expect more involvement in future games.

LaPorta was 'nothing this week,' with minimal usage. The source dismissed speculation that he was being punished for podcast comments, instead attributing the low usage to it simply being 'the Jameson Williams game' rather than 'the LaPorta game,' with future games likely to feature more LaPorta involvement.
