I was out on Bucky Irving all season long, all draft season long... he looked more like the guy we saw in his rookie season... they just go, he's our main guy... when the rubber meets the road, who's our guy going to be the one you can just kind of tell, Oh, they keep using him over and over.

Irving upgraded after Week 1 showed dynamic play; Bucs clearly prefer him over Gainwell.
The source was out on Bucky Irving all draft season but upgraded him after Week 1, where he looked like the dynamic player from his rookie season and was used in all aspects of the game. The source notes the Buccaneers clearly prefer Irving over Kenny Gainwell and don't overthink the decision—when healthy, Irving is their main guy and stays in regardless of results, though Sean Tucker's return could create a three-headed backfield.
