Rush's disastrous performance likely ends his starting role; Penix expected Thursday.
Performed extremely poorly in Week 2 against Atlanta: fumbled on first play from scrimmage on a naked boot, threw a deflected interception on second drive, had a Kyle Pitts drop on third drive, and attempted a Drake London jet sweep stuffed on fourth-and-one in field goal range; source states 'Cooper Rush will never play again' and expects Michael Penix to start Thursday night.
