McCarthy shows arm talent in five quarters; likely to be traded for draft picks.

J.J. McCarthy has played five quarters for the Giants and has shown well in limited action, displaying tremendous arm talent, maturity, and likability while giving the Giants a chance to run the offense as designed. However, the source views it as unlikely the Giants will do anything this offseason other than try to flip McCarthy for more draft assets than the fifth-round pick they used to acquire him, despite his strong play. The source notes: 'It is going to take A LOT for me to be convinced the Giants will do anything this offseason other than try to flip McCarthy for more draft assets than the fifth-round pick they used to acquire him.'
