Cam Ward has probably heard people talking this week about how the Simmons trade means they have given up on him. If he wants to quiet that talk, he needs to come out and have a big day against a pretty soft defense.

Positive signalMatchup

Ward has a soft matchup to silence trade-related doubts about his future.

Cam Ward faces a soft Bengals pass defense (allowing 233 yards per game) in a game where the Titans must keep pace with Cincinnati's high-powered offense (5th in passing, 4th in points per game). The source notes Ward has heard speculation about the Simmons trade signaling the Titans have given up on him; a strong performance against this weak pass defense would quiet that narrative and give Tennessee a chance to compete.
