Video: Angles and Upside Week 8 w/ Rich Hribar
James Cook is I mean, it's same thing like as always with James Cook. He's just a really efficient back. Is he going to be involved in the pass game? Uh Tai Johnson left week six with a hamstring injury and he got the routes went back up to just under 50% but anytime Tai Johnson's played he's been like low 30s... you need 100 yards, you need a couple touchdowns from him, right? From like a a DFS tournament perspective... he's the same arc type of guy, which feels weird to say, but it is similar... he is a guy that has to get um he has to be really efficient and score touchdowns, and he is a good bet for that usually... I like this setup for him.

Cook needs 100+ yards and TDs; route share swings 30s-50% based on backup.

James Cook is a highly efficient running back who requires touchdown production and volume to succeed in DFS tournaments. His pass-game involvement varies based on backup RB health: when Tai Johnson (who left week six with a hamstring injury) plays, Cook's route participation drops to low 30s; without Johnson, it rises to just under 50%. Cook's arc type is similar to Derrick Henry—he needs 100+ yards and multiple touchdowns to pay off. The source likes this setup for Cook as the home favorite against Baltimore, noting he's unlikely to be scripted out on the Bills and the Ravens may struggle with their defensive adjustments against Josh Allen's mobility.
