Knight's strong play during Love's absence has earned him a lasting role in the backfield.

Knight has played so well during Jeremiah Love's ankle injury absence that the coaching staff will not completely bench him upon Love's return. The source expects Knight to retain a significant role, with Love receiving only about 10 ceremonial snaps per game that come directly from Knight's workload, indicating Knight has earned a lasting role in the backfield.
