Michael Penix just so likely to make so many starts this season... It was very obvious from training camp that Tua wasn't going to be it. I actually think they would have started Penix week one if he was cleared, like without even participating in the competition.

Adam Levitan reports Michael Penix is very likely to make many starts this season for Atlanta. It was obvious from training camp that Tua Tagovailoa wasn't going to be the starter, and Levitan believes the Falcons would have started Penix in week one if he was cleared without even a competition. Tua was so poor in the preseason that he couldn't even play in week one due to a back injury.
