From the episode

I'm very disappointed, incredibly disappointed that Jordan Watkins is not playing in week eight... I was going to start him against everybody except bi-week in the deepest, craziest, fringiest situations... what I saw from Jordan Watkins was really, really good... Jordan Watkins is actually someone that can go out and make plays on the outside.

STACKED’s take

Positive signalProjection

Watkins' elite route-running and catch ability make him a deep league desperation play.

Matt Kelley expresses strong conviction that Jordan Watkins will be featured in upcoming plays of the week analysis, stating he would start Watkins against all opponents except bye weeks in deep leagues. Kelley emphasizes Watkins' performance was "really, really good" and highlights his ability to make plays on the outside as a difference-maker in the 49ers' receiving core, though a controversial catch reversal cost him additional production.
