Yahoo Sports NFL on Kyler Murray

Murray's poor accuracy in Vikings' loss raises concerns vs. elite defenses.

Murray repeatedly missed on various throws and promising looks in Minnesota's 19-15 loss to Detroit, a performance the source describes as simply not up to par despite some success looking to tight end T.J. Hockenson down the seam. The source questions what chance Murray has against elite pass defenses like the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers if he struggled against Detroit's league-worst pass defense (which lost several key pieces during the contest). The Vikings' risk-averse offensive style has routinely misfired in the passing game and failed to capitalize on Justin Jefferson's skills.
