Yahoo Sports NFL on Justin Herbert

Herbert's 10 INTs and 0-7 record signal historic collapse from elite prospect.

Herbert's $46.4M cap hit leads the overpaid QB problem; the Chargers are 0-7 with Herbert leading the NFL in interceptions (10). The source describes a 'dramatic pumpkin-ification' of a once-elite prospect, noting Herbert is now playing 'atrocious football' with interceptions stemming from overlooking coverage and poor decision-making on basic plays like vanilla Cover-2. The source estimates Herbert's trade value has collapsed to 'no better than a mid-round pick.'
