Yahoo Sports NFL on Drake Maye

Maye's 5-for-5 deep accuracy and six deep TDs since Week 4 lead NFL; led comeback win.

Drake Maye completed 16 of 20 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns against Miami in Week 8, with perfect accuracy on deep throws: 5-for-5 on passes over 10 air yards for 149 yards and both TDs. Since Week 4, Maye has thrown six deep (20+ air yards) touchdown passes without an interception, the most deep touchdowns in the NFL over that span. The source credits Maye for pulling a messy win out of the fire with a MASH unit around him, noting he figured things out in the second half to avoid a bad loss despite constant pressure and an offense that was going nowhere in the first half.
