Schottenheimer's conservative play-calling undermines Lamb's playmaking ability late in games.

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer has repeatedly removed Lamb from games by calling conservatively in situations warranting aggression, including a critical late-game sequence with a 27-24 lead and 2+ minutes remaining where Schottenheimer chose to play defensively rather than trust Prescott, Lamb, and George Pickens to execute; this pattern of coaching scared rather than to win has contributed to Dallas's 3-5 record despite significant talent investment.
