McVay praises Daniels' development; expects more opportunities in Rams offense

Rams head coach Sean McVay praised rookie sixth-round pick CJ Daniels, saying he has done "a hell of a job" and deserves "more opportunities." McVay indicated Daniels could be the answer to fill the void at wide receiver rather than pursuing a trade, with the coach stating "There's a guy in CJ Daniels that's really done a hell of a job that you're gonna see get more opportunities." McVay emphasized he won't hand out chances that could hurt the team, suggesting Daniels is being evaluated for meaningful playing time alongside Puka Nacua in the second half of the season.
