From the episode

Adonai Mitchell is back to being, you know, like he's going to play some snaps because he's probably the best they have at beating press coverage. So he's going to play X, but he's, I think he's gonna be more there as closer to a sacrificial X. Now that Omar Cooper has come in and really shown what he can do.

STACKED’s take

Negative signalRole

Role diminished to press-coverage specialist as Omar Cooper Jr. takes primary role.

Returning from injury but role diminished by Omar Cooper Jr.'s emergence; expected to play snaps primarily as X receiver to beat press coverage, functioning as closer to a sacrificial X rather than primary option. Source views him as secondary to Cooper Jr. going forward.
