Jennings was rumored to be a target of the 49ers, trying to bring him back into the fold, but declined the offer, saying he didn't want to go back to San Francisco. That's especially interesting considering his best production came with the 49ers, notching a 975-yard season in 2024 and a nine-TD campaign a year ago before leaving on a one-year deal in Minnesota. Jennings has been almost a ghost with the Vikings, with only six catches in his six games.

Jennings declined 49ers return; inactive with Vikings despite prior success.

Jennings declined a 49ers trade offer despite his best production coming with San Francisco (975 yards in 2024, nine TDs in the prior year). With the Vikings, he has been largely inactive with only six catches in six games and only modest recent upticks in activity. The source notes the Vikings need offensive help but Jennings hasn't been a good fit, and they might consider including him in a deal for running back or defensive depth.
