Yahoo Sports NFL on Brian Thomas Jr.

Thomas' elite size and speed expected to fetch third-round pick in trade market.

At 6-foot-2 7/8 with a 4.33 40-yard dash per scouting combine measurement, Thomas' size and speed allures talent evaluators. A third-round pick seems roughly what the league expects Thomas to cost, with one NFC executive comparing his value to George Pickens' trade from the Steelers to the Cowboys in May 2025 for a third-round pick (with a sixth/fifth swap). Another NFC executive thought the Jaguars would need to wait until deadline day to command a third rather than a fourth.
