Yahoo Fantasy Football on Adonai Mitchell

Mitchell's 142-yard breakout game shows elite downfield threat potential for Jets.

Mitchell set a new career high with 142 receiving yards against the Raiders, topping his previous best of 102 yards. After returning from injury, he put up the most yards of any Jets pass-catcher in a single game since Week 15 of 2024, surpassing Mason Taylor and Omar Cooper Jr. in production. Beyond the box score, his on-field deployment shows serious potential: he caught his touchdown on a go route and connected with Geno Smith on multiple timing routes to the outside and a deep crossing route for an explosive play. Mitchell has the size and speed to create separation at the snap and function as a downfield threat.
