The No. 6 overall draft pick saw his play time and work load decrease dramatically in a 38-33 win at the New York Jets; he played a career low 40 percent of the snaps with just two carries, while rookie fourth-round pick Mike Washington received a whopping 25 carries. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said the decision had nothing to do with Jeanty's disparaging words about the Jets' defense. The source notes this was a major development and will monitor whether Jeanty gets more work against the 49ers.
