Since the night in Denver that the world saw Mahomes' kneecap put back into place on the field, the quarterback sneak has clearly not been an option for the Chiefs.

Mahomes' knee injury has eliminated QB sneak from short-yardage arsenal.

Since knee injury in Denver (kneecap dislocation), quarterback sneak has been removed from offensive play-calling; source attributes this to either Andy Reid's conservative approach or Mahomes' own reluctance to attempt the play, noting it is 'equally disappointing' that Mahomes hasn't executed it on his own. This limits short-yardage efficiency and forces alternative offensive schemes.
