Yahoo Fantasy Football on Jadarian Price
From the article
Price played 48% of snaps, leading to 9.9 expected half PPR points (RB30). Athletically, it's no contest. Price is so much faster in a straight line and laterally agile. The speed difference is evident on the outside runs, while the lateral ability is easier to see on the cutback runs. That's not the end-all, be all, but it absolutely does matter and it's unlikely to change with Charbonnet coming off a February ACL surgery.
STACKED’s take
Price's athletic edge and snap share position him for increased early-down work in Seattle's RB committee.
Price played 48% of snaps in a three-way Seattle backfield committee, generating 9.9 expected half PPR points (RB30 usage). Athletically superior to Zach Charbonnet with evident straight-line speed and lateral agility; received the pitch on a sweep, indicating coaching staff preference. Hayden Winks notes Price's athletic edge is 'unlikely to change with Charbonnet coming off a February ACL surgery' and recommends the Seahawks 'continue giving Price a lot of the early-down and between-the-20s runs to increase their odds of an explosive.' Price did show decision-making lapses on two reps—one where he jammed into a crowded lane instead of cutting back, another where he tried to bounce outside instead of hitting the inside shoulder—but these are correctable with more reps.
