From the episode

Lions are predictably terrible in all of these coverage stats. They're number one in yak per reception defensively. So it's basically like you can catch whatever you want on them and then they're going to tackle it immediately.

Detroit allows high volume to WR1s; Wilson's possession-receiver profile fits the matchup.

Detroit's defense is predictably poor in coverage stats and ranks first in yards-after-catch per reception defensively, meaning receivers can catch anything and get tackled immediately. However, Lloyd notes this is a volume bet, not an explosiveness bet. Wilson is known as a possession receiver and route runner, not a big yards-after-catch receiver, and Detroit is near the bottom of the league in run and pass explosives. Lloyd expects 15–17 targets (matching WR1 volume against Detroit) and projects 10–12 catches for 10–12 yards per catch, still accumulating significant yardage.
