Fantasy Football with Ian Hartitz on Samaje Perine

VideoWeek 8 Fantasy Football Running Back Rankings: Josh Jacobs RB9, Breece Hall RB1...October 28, 2026

From the video

RB 36, I got Samaje Perine just four touches a week after it looked like he was maybe taking over, so he's back to again being a little more than a handcuff, but a pretty decent handcuff as the clear number two running back in the NFL's fourth highest scoring offense.

STACKED’s take

Negative signalUsage

Downgraded to handcuff role after just four touches; monitor for Taylor injury.

Ranked RB36 with only four touches a week after appearing to take over the backfield; downgraded back to slightly more than a handcuff role. Remains the clear number two running back in the NFL's fourth-highest scoring offense, making him a low-owned bench stash to monitor as a handcuff to Jonathan Taylor.
