Video: Week 9 QB, TE, DST Rankings & Tiers
T.J. Hockenson. Generally, I think Kyler was actually a pretty good thing for Hockenson just because he looked to keep the ball close to the line of scrimmage and it's not like he was slinging it towards the boundaries with Justin Jefferson. Carson Wentz should be willing to push the ball towards the boundaries more than Kyler was.

C-tier TE; role risk with Wentz replacing Murray's short-pass game

Hockenson is ranked C-tier. With Carson Wentz replacing Kyler Murray, the Vikings' passing game is expected to shift toward more boundary throws rather than short, close-to-the-line-of-scrimmage passes that benefited Hockenson under Murray. This role change raises concerns about his usage despite the Vikings improving their win probability slightly.
