Mason's inefficient return from injury faces a Bills defense that limits rushing upside.

Mason was turned into an absolute dud by the Lions last week with just 20 rushing yards on eight carries for 2.0 fantasy points. Since returning from injury in Week 7, he has 88 yards on 23 carries (3.8 per carry) with zero catches and zero touchdowns. While the Bills have been a good matchup for running backs overall due to allowing the third-most receiving fantasy points per game (11.0), they're closer to the middle of the pack in rushing fantasy points. Mason is only guaranteed to see a portion of that production with Aaron Jones Sr. still involved, and the Vikings offense has been extremely lackluster all season as an underdog against the Bills in what figures to be a relatively low-scoring affair. Mason is well outside RB2 range and not even a promising FLEX.
