Aiyuk negotiating $13M bonus forfeiture to facilitate 49ers exit and move elsewhere.

Aiyuk is returning to the 49ers' facility Friday afternoon and reportedly discussing forfeiture of a $13 million bonus as part of negotiations. He had been on the reserve/left squad after failing to show up for mandatory team activities including training camp, and publicly requested to be cut so he could sign with the Washington Commanders. With agent Scott Rosenhaus now leading negotiations, Aiyuk hopes to secure a trade or release to start elsewhere.
