Yahoo Sports NFL on Parker Washington

Washington's 50-yard TD catch before halftime was the game's defining moment.

Washington was the beneficiary of Trevor Lawrence's most important contribution of the game: a beautifully executed 50-yard touchdown connection just before halftime. The source describes the play as Washington beating his defender and finding plenty of space behind the Baltimore secondary on a drive that gave Jacksonville a 17-3 halftime lead instead of allowing Baltimore to stay within one score. This was part of Lawrence's efficient downfield attack that saw him complete 8 of 10 passes traveling at least 10 air yards.
