Lawrence looked quickly to his left and Parker Washington near the first-down marker. But Hamilton, instead of blitzing, had dropped into coverage to take that read away from Lawrence.

Washington targeted on critical third-down but coverage adjustment forced Lawrence elsewhere.

Washington was targeted by Trevor Lawrence on a critical third-and-7 play from Jacksonville's own 7-yard line against Baltimore, positioned near the first-down marker. However, Baltimore's Kyle Hamilton dropped into coverage to take away this read, forcing Lawrence to reset and find Jakobi Meyers instead. This illustrates Washington's role in the Jaguars' passing game but also shows defensive adjustments limiting his opportunities in key situations.
