From the episode
Michael Wilson lacks the targets. They're trying to figure out what this offense looks like, and it just has not been built really around him... they signed Zay Jones... Zay will come in and play the Jalen Brooks ex-Marvin Harrison role... if you look at the splits before Jalen Brooks was on the offense, Michael Wilson was pretty good.
STACKED’s take
Positive signalRole
Wilson's role unclear; offense not built around him despite Brooks' IR placement.
Lacks consistent target volume; offense has not been built around him; Jalen Brooks' placement on IR and Zay Jones signing as replacement (to run Marvin Harrison route) removes a competing target, but before Brooks entered the offense, Wilson was performing better, suggesting Brooks' absence could be a boost.
