A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection15:00

AJ Brown is ranked WR14 this week vs. Miami and should improve with 10 days rest following his high ankle sprain return. He was too aggressive last week playing on a short week four days after returning from injury. Against Miami's bottom-five secondary (dead last in EPA per pass play), Brown should regress positively from being 16 points under expectation the last two weeks. He remains the alpha in the Eagles' passing game attached to one of the NFL's best quarterbacks.

Insight page
PositiveProjection17:00

AJ Brown is ranked WR17 this week and needs to show improvement before being ranked at or above consensus. He hasn't been separating from defenders, isn't making contested catches (normally his forte), and is averaging just 5.3 yards per target and 1.29 yards per route run this season. While the small sample size and elite quarterback attachment are noted, his recent performance has been subpar.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveRole30:00

Will see biggest roll bump in raw routes run with McLaurin out; ran most routes in week four when McLaurin didn't play vs. Colts and most routes in last game when McLaurin left early; more natural slot guy than Diggs (49% slot snaps vs. Diggs' 63%); both guys strong starts against Eagles secondary, which is reeling and giving up ton of production, especially in slot vs. Cooper Jean.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout44:23

Antonio Williams ranked WR30 (vs. ECR consensus outside top 36) and positioned for a breakout against the Eagles. Dan Quinn has stated Williams will play more in the offense without Terry McLaurin. Last time he played without McLaurin, he had 8 targets (second only to Stephon Diggs) and an 87-yard touchdown called back due to penalty; final box score showed 3 catches for 21 yards, but the underlying production was strong. Williams has higher ceiling than Diggs (who hasn't exceeded 55 yards this season) due to explosive play ability, especially when lined up in the slot.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveMatchup6:00

Christian Watson is ranked WR7 this week against Carolina Panthers, who have significant cornerback injuries: JC Horn (torn quad) out, Mike Jackson (groin) likely out, and Caleb Evans (banged up) possibly out. Watson had six touchdowns in his first five games but has been held to 64 and 57 receiving yards the last two weeks; however, he's too talented to stay checked long, especially against backup cornerbacks.

Insight page
NegativeUsage8:00

Christian Watson's target share has dropped three consecutive weeks, and he is not the number-one wide receiver in terms of target volume for the Packers. Over the last three games, his target allocation has declined, though he remains more efficient than Matthew Golden. Packers coach LaFleur traditionally favors run-heavy approaches, and with Josh Jacobs back and Carolina's weak run defense, there's a possibility of reduced passing volume.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeProjection24:14

Ranked 21st but performance doesn't support tier placement; only two top-20 finishes all season (weeks 4 and 6); other finishes: 53, 65, 30, 62, 33 last week; boom-or-bust profile with inconsistent output; very skeptical about ranking based on actual performance this season despite theoretical upside.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup25:00

Against Browns, Steelers likely to motion him around to avoid Denzel Ward lockdown and get him different cornerback matchups, similar to successful approach in prior meeting; he's essential to Steelers passing game alongside Jeremy Bernard; explosive play ability can produce big games even with low target volume (e.g., two catches for 56 yards still WR33 last week).

Insight page
PositiveUsage26:30

Only six targets last week due to Steelers' effective run game against Saints' weak run defense; Browns run defense also vulnerable (gave up three rushing TDs to Titans/Pollard), so Steelers may lean run again; limited passing volume from Steelers offense (can't be top-three passing team with Aaron Rodgers) and high sack rate (tied with Deshaun Watson for most sacks) could suppress Metcalf's target opportunities.

Insight page

Jacoby Jones

PositiveSleeper43:51

Jacoby Lane is a conditional deep play for week 8 contingent on Lamar Jackson's return from ankle injury. If Lamar plays, Lane becomes a viable play in a shootout against the Bills. Lane has been making highlight-reel catches at Ravens training camp and is expected to see extended run with Lamar at quarterback.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeDepth Chart0:25

Josh Downs has requested a trade from the Colts and does not rank in the top 36 wide receivers for Week 8; he's currently in the 40s in rest-of-season rankings. The speaker notes that Downs' situation with Keenan Allen and Daniel Jones playing poorly has made it difficult for him to produce fantasy points, and he's in a contract year looking to get paid in free agency.

Insight page
PositiveProjection1:00

If traded to Kansas City Chiefs, Josh Downs could become a top-30 wide receiver rest-of-season, potentially reaching WR3 status. The Chiefs need wide receivers with Rashee Rice's status uncertain, and Downs' ability to beat man coverage and work the slot would fit their system. Going from Daniel Jones to Patrick Mahomes represents a significant upgrade in quarterback play.

Insight page
PositiveProjection3:30

If traded to the Rams, Josh Downs could be ranked as a WR3 rest-of-season. The Rams are desperate at wide receiver following Devontae Adams' injury and are fighting for playoff positioning. Downs' slot skills and separation ability would provide immediate help to their passing game.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveMatchup9:00

Josh Jacobs has one game under his belt since returning and could see significant volume against Carolina's weak run defense. The Packers may employ a run-heavy approach given the Panthers' poor run defense, potentially featuring Jacobs with 25+ carries. Last week he was involved as a pass catcher with wheel routes and nearly scored a goal-line touchdown, showing expanded usage.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection11:00

Justin Jefferson has only one top-12 finish at wide receiver all season (WR3 in Week 1) and is ranked WR11 this week vs. Detroit. His other finishes are 41, 72, 15, and 36, indicating consistent underperformance. The Vikings have been playing conservative offensive scripts due to their strong defense, limiting Jefferson's volume and ceiling outcomes.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup13:00

Justin Jefferson could have a ceiling-type performance at Ford Field if the Vikings are forced into a pass-heavy game script. Games at Ford Field historically get 'wacky,' and if the Vikings need to throw downfield aggressively, Jefferson's efficiency with Kyle Murray has been acceptable. The Lions' secondary may be less dominant on the road, creating potential for Jefferson to finally break out.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveProjection39:18

Allen's 129-yard game last week signals potential new normal; speaker expects him to consistently receive 6–10 targets per game going forward, though his floor remains concerning—he's averaged just 31 receiving yards in his other six games (including a 64-yard Steelers game that was his second-best performance), indicating volatility despite the recent breakout.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveProjection40:00

McConkey ranked WR20–25 (vs. consensus WR29) despite injury concerns; if he plays all four quarters against the Rams, could finish as a top-15 WR this week. He's averaging 2.2 yards per route run (elite efficiency) but has played only one game with over 50% snaps this season due to rib injury (week 1), foot injury (week 4), and concussion (week 6). Expected to be cleared for this game. Chargers' receiving depth is depleted (Johnston, Harris, Gadsden Jr. all underperforming), making McConkey the primary target option if healthy.

Insight page
NegativeInjury40:24

McConkey has been ravaged by injuries this season: rib injury in week 1, foot injury in week 4, concussion against the Chiefs in week 6. He is expected to be cleared for this week's game against the Rams, but durability is the primary concern—he has played only one game with over 50% of snaps this season, making him extremely difficult to rank with confidence.

Insight page
PositiveRole40:49

McConkey is positioned to command volume against the Rams; Chargers' other receiving options (Quinton Johnston, Trey Harris, Arande Gadsden Jr.) have underperformed or are injured, and the running game is broken. If McConkey stays healthy, he should see at least 7–8 targets. Offensive coordinators McDaniel and Harbaugh have identified McConkey as the only consistent weapon when healthy, so they are expected to re-emphasize targeting him.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeUsage7:00

Matthew Golden has better usage than Christian Watson over recent games but is ranked WR13 this week vs. Carolina, three spots below Watson. Golden has had issues at the catch point lately and is currently dealing with an injury. His target share and route participation have been strong, but efficiency concerns and injury status create uncertainty.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveUsage18:20

Michael Wilson is ranked WR23 this week vs. Dallas, four spots below ECR. Over his first four games, he averaged 11 targets with a 27% target share, but over the last three games he's averaging just 7.3 targets with a 16% target share—actually being targeted less since Marvin Harrison Jr.'s departure. Wilson has poor efficiency metrics at 6.1 yards per target and 1.39 yards per route run.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup19:40

Michael Wilson faces Dallas this week, which lost WR3 Jalen Brooks to a season-ending injury. The matchup is favorable, but beyond Wilson the Cardinals' receiver depth is thin (Kendrick Bourne, Devin Duvernay, Simi Fahoko, Reggie Virgil). Confidence in Wilson and QB Jacoby Brissett remains low despite the opportunity.

Insight page
PositiveProjection20:48

Three straight games of four catches on seven targets with yardage increasing three consecutive weeks; saw three goal line looks last week without converting; against Dallas, a matchup where Jacoby Brissett could drop back 50 times, Wilson doesn't need to be efficient—may take 15-17 targets to reach 10 catches/100 yards/TD, but has shown this is possible in past Brissett matchups; ranked as top 20 guy and make-or-break week.

Insight page
PositiveRole20:48

Lacks consistent target volume; offense has not been built around him; Jalen Brooks' placement on IR and Zay Jones signing as replacement (to run Marvin Harrison route) removes a competing target, but before Brooks entered the offense, Wilson was performing better, suggesting Brooks' absence could be a boost.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveProjection33:00

Ranked 25th; has been really good against man coverage with 23 yards per route run (most by any player in a game since 2018), averaging 19.1 yards per target; caught all but one of 12 targets for 248 yards and two TDs; against Raiders, a defense that struggles with explosive plays and plays 7th-highest man coverage rate (54.5% success rate allowed, 3rd-highest in league), Cooper should continue producing; only needs 4-5 targets to deliver due to explosiveness.

Insight page
NegativeUsage34:00

When Adonai Mitchell returned from finger injury, Cooper's snap share dropped from 82% (week 6) to 64% last week; Garrett Wilson will get his fair share of targets; Jets have three good receivers and two talented tight ends (Kenyon Sadiq, Mason Taylor), so passing game is not consolidated; risk of some weeks with only three targets for Cooper.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveProjection28:12

Ranked 22nd; with Terry McLaurin out, Diggs will be prominently involved; has had at least six targets in every game this season and expected to see 8-10 targets rest of way; strong wide receiver to play; had one of best games of season in week one against Eagles (4 catches, 55 yards, TD on 9 targets).

Insight page
NegativeRole30:00

Lines up in slot on 63% of snaps this season; against Eagles, if Diggs lines up outside, he'll likely see Eagles' best cornerback Quinjon Mitchell; Antonio Williams is more natural slot guy (49% slot snaps) and almost has to play there; both have inside-outside versatility and may be interchangeable in David Blas offense; Eagles defense is slot funnel, so slot positioning is favorable.

0:15chemistry, I will tell you what you would to instead read the 2011 ECR.
0:19We have a link in the description we need to review.
0:22news that I don't, I got to be honest with you.
0:25I don't recall if we speculated this both off air or on air, but we were talking about the Colts.
0:31It was probably off air. And we had literally been talking about Josh Downs as maybe another player that could be moved.
0:38And guess what? News came down like 20 minutes ago that Josh Downs has requested a trade.
0:43So that sparked up a conversation off air for the three of us of what would make sense, who would trade him.
0:49And then here's another interesting thing. He's not, um, he's not rank worthy here.
0:53He doesn't make the top 36 wide receivers of what we're going to talk about today.
0:58And I had to look through that. So the question is, Erickson, we'll start with you.
1:03What is a good destination for Josh Downs to go to?
1:06And would that destination get him back to viability?
1:09Because this was a guy that was in the thirties or late twenties at this point.
1:13And he does not register even in week eight as a top 36 wide receiver.
1:18Yeah. It has not been a fun ride for the Josh Downs investors with Keenan Allen involved, Daniel Jones playing very, very poorly.
1:24There's a reason why Josh Downs wants out because I believe it's a contract year for him.
1:30And he's looking at this offense and saying, I can't put up numbers or get paid in the off season if I stay on this team.
1:37So get me out of here. I think that a great spot for him would be the Kansas City Chiefs, right?
1:43They're a team that needs wide receivers. We don't know when Rashi Rice, if he's ever going to come back.
1:49And we know that there's no long-term investment year.
1:52We're going to see Rice play in Kansas City because he's also going to be a free agent end of the year.
1:58So someone that can get open, that can beat man coverage, work over the slot.
2:03I think Rice makes a lot of sense for the Chiefs who have been rumored to be in the market for a wide receiver.
2:10So I think that he makes a lot of sense.
2:13Fitzy. Oh, and real quick. So then if he were to be traded to the Chiefs, what does that make him to you?
2:20Like, what do you think? Like, how would you approach him?
2:23Would he be like a top third? I know, obviously you got to like, see how they use him and stuff, but
2:29like Josh Downs, Chiefs wide receiver is what to you?
2:32And, you know, hypothetical situation, week nine. What is he at top 30, top 25, still not top 36?
2:38Like, how would you approach him? I don't think in his first game that he'd play with the Chiefs, I'd rank him
2:44that high, but I think that he could definitely get there as soon as he gets kind of- Yeah, that's more of
2:51what I mean of like what he becomes. I'm just looking and see where I have, I mean, right now he was
2:57like touching the 40s in my rest of season rankings.
3:00Obviously he'd moved down a lot. So I think that he'd probably be at least a wide receiver three rest of season.
3:07But again, we don't know if Rice, if Rice never comes back, like I wouldn't shock me to see him lead the
3:13team, at least receiver wise and targets. Now, how often are they going to throw the football when Ken Walker is the engine of the offense?
3:21That's a question mark. But going from Daniel Jones, the way that he's been playing to Patrick Mahomes type that, that is a night and day difference.
3:29So that's a big win for Josh Downs. Fitzy, what do you think?
3:33Destination that would make sense and what destination or does that destination make him fantasy viable again?
3:38What about the Rams? Remember how during the run-up to the NFL draft, everyone was mocking Makai Lemon to the Rams in
3:44the middle of the first round with that pick they had from, I believe, the Falcons.
3:49And then they wound up taking Ty Simpson and now they probably wish they had drafted a wide receiver because of the Devontae Adams injury.
3:56They're kind of up a creek at wide receiver a little bit.
4:00And I think if Downs went to the Rams, I could see having him as like a wide receiver three the rest of the way.
4:07And look, the Rams are pretty desperate. I mean, they do not have a lot of cushion left as far as how
4:13many games they could lose and still make the playoffs.
4:16Like they're holding on for dear life until Miles Garrett comes back.
4:20And I could see them. It's the Rams, man.
4:23F them draft picks. So I actually like this one the most because what are the other trades that have already happened?
4:29Seahawks, Nelson, Buckner, 49ers, like the division is making trades.
4:32I think that one makes the most sense. I kind of like stick with the, I think they would trade them probably out of the AFC.
4:40I mean, maybe they don't really care at the end of the day, which, you know, if you open it up, I
4:46think, um, I mean, you could look at a team like the Steelers, the Bills, that could be another one of those teams.
4:53But I, if I wasn't, if I don't get the Rams, cause I don't get the Rams.
4:58What about even the Giants at this point? They've talked about trying to make moves and trying to be aggressive.
5:04Their wide receiver core is a little odd. How about having like a really solid, you know, slot wide receiver, like downs
5:10for, you know, at least good separation for a young quarterback and then let Malik kind of take the top off.
5:16So that might be kind of an odd one.
5:19Um, at the end of the day, it's like where in what places actually make him viable is what matters.
5:25I think, uh, I think Kansas city and the Rams, those two, I think that was making the most fantasy viable.
5:31And if traded into the right destination, downs could end up becoming like a top 30 wide receiver again.
5:37And maybe there's even more here, but that's the latest rumor.
5:40We're speculating. The thing we did hear was Adam, uh, Schefter, I think it was on McAfee had said that he expects him to be traded.
5:48So Josh down should be traded so that there might be some effect.
5:52Luckily, we're not going to talk about him outside of this, uh, in the ranks, if you were to not be playing,
5:58but just having a little bit of fun, you guys can drop it comments below where you think not only get traded, but what makes him viable.
6:06Let's jump into the wide receiver ranks though. Again, uh, fantasypros.com slash NFL slash rankings.
6:10If you want to play along our top 12 starts with Jackson Smith in Jigba coming in at number two is Puku
6:17Nakua, Jamar Chase, CD Lambs, Zay Flowers, and Amon Ross St.
6:20Brown is your top half bottom half. Drake London, Christian Watson, Justin Jefferson, Parker Washington at 10 T Higgins, and Matthew Golden.
6:27Pretty standard stuff. Uh, this is like the second or third week.
6:30We've seen two green Bay wide receivers come in at the top 12.
6:34So as wide receiver ones, maybe a conversation to have as you get, there's kind of a gap.
6:39Um, it's still a wide receiver one gap, but you guys got a gap on a Christian Watson, but maybe it can
6:46be a conversation around both of the wide receivers and then both existing Fitzy.
6:50You are the high man. Um, you have Christian Watson at seven.
6:53I don't know where you have Matthew Golden. Erickson is the lower person here because you've got a Christian Watson at 12,
7:00but Fitzy, why don't you kick us off? Christian Watson still high at seven.
7:04Do you think him, Matthew Golden continue to be able to vibe as wide receiver ones, uh, going up against Carolina Panthers?
7:10They could because the Panthers have a ton of injuries at cornerback, uh, their, their best cover man, JC Horn still out with the torn quad.
7:18Mike Jackson, their second best corner on his way back from a groin injury, but I don't believe he's expected to play this week.
7:25And a Caleb Evans, they're probably number three cornerback banged up might not play this week.
7:30So I have Watson at wide receiver seven and, uh, Golden wide receiver 13.
7:34The usage for both has been really good, maybe even better for Golden, but I just think Watson's a better player.
7:40Like Golden's had some issues at the catch point lately.
7:43Um, Watson had six touchdowns in his first five games has not scored neither of his last two and has been held
7:50to 64 and 57 receiving yards the last two weeks, but Watson's just too good to be kept in check for long,
7:56especially against a team with cornerback issues. I mean, Watson up against backup cornerbacks is going to be, that could be a long night for Carolina.
8:04Yeah. I think we, our defensive match grade, uh, might not be accounting with something we might need to hit them with, uh, the cornerbacks being injured.
8:12Cause this grades it as a one star matchup, but I'm not sure it's grading out that the cornerbacks of Carolina are banked up.
8:19Erickson, you've got Watson at 12. So is this a full move?
8:22Is this Watson moves down and Golden moves down?
8:25Or is there some world where maybe you have Golden above Watson?
8:28Talk to us about the Christian Watson X, uh, Golden matchup for the week?
8:33No, I have both guys just slightly moved down versus consensus.
8:36And I would say that Watson would move back up closer to ECR if Matthew Golden doesn't play.
8:41Cause I know that he's actually dealing with an injury right now.
8:45So that's something that I wanted to bring up.
8:47So that would relieve room for Watson because over the last three games, Watson's target chair has dropped three consecutive times.
8:53And we've talked about this on the show where he is not the number one wide receiver in terms of target volume.
9:00Now he's been the more productive of the two receivers.
9:03He's been more efficient than Matthew Golden. So obviously that's why he's still on the top 10 consideration.
9:08But I also keeping the back of my mind that look, LaFleur traditionally has always liked to run the football.
9:14And when you see that Carolina Panthers run defense and what happened to it last week when the Buccaneers put up 40
9:21points, when their quarterback attempted 11 passes, you got Josh Jacobs back.
9:24He's got one game under his belt. I get that last week was still a pass heavy approach, but it was a
9:31different script because you're going into forward field. You know, you're going to have to throw the football, both those teams, just
9:37looking at how aggressive they're going off for a fourth down.
9:40Like we're not kicking field goals. Like we don't care.
9:43Like we're going to be aggressive as possible. I don't think that's the same type of mindset in this game against the Panthers run defense.
9:51So that is why I'm just a slept a tuple or a couple ranks and spots down compared to the consensus.
9:57I'm trying to consider the fact that look, this could be the spot where they load up Josh Jacobs, 25 carries and
10:03let him run wild against a terrible Panthers run defense.
10:06So again, the Panthers secondary is not good, but their run defense might just be worse.
10:11So it just demands on how the Packers elect to attack this defense.
10:15And I'm just leaving the door open, the possibility that they do go a little bit more run heavy.
10:20Can I add something real quick? Just that the part of the ranking for us, the one star rating for the matchup
10:27is that the Panthers have been a major run funnel for the last few years.
10:31I totally get that. I just against a team that has really had issues running the ball.
10:36And even last week with Jacobs back, you saw the Packers like try to get the running game going with Jacobs, but
10:43then it's like it mixed success there. And so they started throwing Jacobs the ball and you do not normally see him that involved as a pass catcher.
10:51I mean, they had him running like wheel rots last week.
10:54He almost hauled in what would have been like the go ahead touchdown late in the game and just couldn't quite haul it in at the goal line.
11:02But I just, I don't know if you're going to see the Packers take a run heavy approach with the offensive line they're throwing out there.
11:10And now they've got their center, Sean Ryan, who's going to miss time.
11:14They had a guy snapping last week who had never snapped in an NFL game before.
11:19So I just don't know if this is the team that can afford to be run heavy against Carolina.
11:24I just want a quick response on this one, just as one more little thing to hit.
11:29I'm just curious about is this the game where Justin Jefferson can finally get going?
11:34I just wanted to point out, he has only one top 12 finish at wide receiver all season.
11:39And that was week one where he finished a wide receiver three.
11:42Otherwise here are his finishes 41, 72, 15, and then 36 this past week, but it's against Detroit.
11:48Um, you know, he's at nine. I think everyone's just a little bit squirrely here.
11:52This team, one of the best in the NFL right now, Fitzy, just as a quick response, is this the get right
11:59classic Justin Jefferson game or do the issues kind of continue with Murray and him?
12:03I've got him wide receiver 11. I wouldn't bet on it.
12:06And I don't know if the Detroit secondary is going to be as much of a pushover from this point on because they've got Brian Branch back.
12:14And like a lot of that's against tight ends who Brian Branch is going to cover, but he is also going to
12:21like, I mean, Brian Branch will knock your lights out and like, he's going to be a factor against everyone running routes
12:27against the lions, knowing he is back there, uh, ready to tee off on you.
12:32Erickson, what do you think? Is this the get right spot against, uh, Detroit in Detroit or do the issues kind of continue with Jefferson?
12:39Well, I mean, Jefferson's been efficient this year. Like the counting stats have obviously been lackluster, but I think that has to
12:45do with more of the game scripts, right? That the Vikings have played.
12:49Have the Vikings been pushed in any of these games to have them drop back to throw a lot of times?
12:55I don't really think so. I mean, it's like when you're facing the Colts and Daniel Jones, you're like, Kyle Murray, like be conservative.
13:03Like when you're facing the saints and the dolphins and the Buccaneers, I just think that he needs a game script to
13:09get nutty for him to really go off. And I've said it once, I've said it again.
13:14I've said it many times when games played at Ford field, they get wacky.
13:18So if Jefferson's ever going to have a ceiling type of outcome performance, it would come in the dome in a game
13:25where power, you got to start throwing the ball downfield.
13:28Like you just have to start being aggressive. Now remains to be seen if he can connect with Jefferson, but for the
13:34most part, I think when Kyle Murray has targeted Justin Jefferson, it's been okay.
13:38Now definitely not as bad as it was with McCarthy and Jefferson last year.
13:42So I think that's what you really need for Jefferson.
13:45Cause I don't think it's really a him problem.
13:48It's more of a Vikings have been playing really conservative on offense because they can, cause their defense is locking down everybody.
13:54Will they be able to lock down the lines on the road?
13:58I'm a little bit more suspect on that. I'll just point out neither Watson nor Golden went off for the Packers and
14:04they actually have a good quarterback on like Justin Jefferson.
14:07Well, I mean, if Golden like caught three or four more of his passing, he would have had a nuclear game.

14:34Wide receiver twos on the big board here. We got Tedaroa McMillan coming in at 13, George Pickens, Jalen Coker, AJ Brown,
14:40Garrett Wilson, Luther Burden, the back half, Michael Wilson coming in at 19, DJ Moore, DK Metcalf, Stepon Diggs, Jamison Williams, and Colonel Tate.
14:47Let's talk about AJ Brown. You guys are, you kind of split the uprights a little bit.
14:52He comes in at ECR 16 going up against the Dolphins.
14:55The matchup grade is very funny there with the Dolphins.
14:58It says it's like a really bad matchup, but Dolphins have been, I guess they've honed it in a little bit, but
15:05they've been like pretty bad this season. Um, Erickson, you're at 14.
15:08Fitzy, you are at 17. Erickson, why don't you start us off here?
15:12AJ Brown, it just hasn't, just hasn't been there since the return.
15:16It's not quite there. Is it going to get there this week?
15:19I think it will. I was definitely too over my skis last week with AJ Brown.
15:24I thought that what I saw from him in week six against the Jets would carry over in a positive way onto Thursday night.
15:31Little did I know that betting on a guy coming off a high ankle sprain to play in a game four days
15:37later after missing a month of football, that was not going to end well.
15:42Now, a different situation here though, is now he's had 10 days between his last game that he played.
15:47And although he did not put up the production that we wanted him to do against the Chicago Bears, look, if he
15:54doesn't get interfered with on that one call down the sideline, no one's complaining about his final box score.
15:59Cause he's going to have five catches for 70 plus yards.
16:02He didn't score, but I don't think you're as upset.
16:05So I went back and rewatched all of his routes from the bears game, from the jets game, and he looked better in the jets game.
16:13So I do think that it was a legitimate thing where playing on the short week off the high ankle sprain was not good for him.
16:21So I think with the extended rest, with the mini bi-week from when the Patriots played last Thursday night, it's going to
16:27be good for him against the Miami Dolphins defense that yes, they may not be giving up a ton of fantasy points
16:34per game to wide receivers, but the secondary is not good.
16:37They rank dead last and EPA per pass face this year.
16:40They are bottom five. Any way you slice this past defense, deep passes, short passes, quick passes, long passes.
16:46It doesn't matter. It's a bad secondary that Drake may should be able to tear apart because that's the thing that gives
16:52me hope about AJ Brown is he's attached to one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
16:57I think he's going to get to turn it around.
17:00He's still so clearly the alpha in the passing game.
17:03So I'm not going to jump ship now again.
17:06I'm not going to rank him as a wide receiver one.
17:09Like I did last week, I was too aggressive, but look, minus 16 points under expectation in the last two weeks.
17:15I think that regression is going to kind of come into play here since he's been having some extended rest.
17:21The targets are there. The volume's there. The efficiency and the matchup is going to be there for him.
17:27So start AJ Brown. All right. Fitzy, where are you at?
17:30You're a little bit low. I mean, one spot lower at 17.
17:33So you guys are in the general range, but do you share the optimism that that Erickson's got on AJ Brown this week?
17:40Not really. No, I need to approve it game from Brown before I rank him at or above consensus.
17:46And maybe this is the get right game for him.
17:49It could be. I don't think he's suddenly bad at football, but he hasn't been good so far.
17:54Like he's, he's not really separating anytime he's targeted.
17:57Like you couldn't slide a credit card between him and the defender.
18:00He's not making contested catches, which is normally his forte.
18:03He's averaging 5.3 yards per target and 1.29 yards per route run this season.
18:07I know it's a really small sample size and he doesn't stink all of a sudden and he's tied to this great
18:14quarterback, but I just, I need to see it before I come up on him in the ranks.
18:19Uh, let's go talk about Michael Wilson. Michael Wilson's going up against Dallas this week.
18:23Ever since Marvin Harrison's gone out, we've been waiting for Wilson to get the big workload, but we've had a lot of defenses that be more hyper-focused.
18:31Uh, this is another one of those where Erickson's like a little bit higher, but it's more at ECR, but then fits fits.
18:38You just have him on the precipice of a wide receiver too.
18:42Like he almost moves out of it at 23, your four spots lower than ECR and Erickson.
18:47What's going on with you with Michael Wilson? Yeah, the appeal of Michael Wilson is that he is supposed to be hyper-targeted
18:53by Jacoby Brissett and he was being hyper-targeted early in the season.
18:57Over his first four games, he was averaging 11 targets and had a 27% target share.
19:01Over his last three games, Wilson is averaging 7.3 targets and has a 16% target share.
19:06Michael Wilson is actually being targeted less since the departure of Marvin Harrison Jr.
19:10Like I think Harrison's presence was good for Michael Wilson and he's just kind of struggled since.
19:15And he himself has not been very good. 6.1 yards per target, 1.39 yards per outrun.
19:20Those are bad numbers. Maybe the target total spikes against Dallas this week.
19:24I mean, they lost number three receiver Jalen Brooks to a season-ending injury and beyond Wilson, it's just Kendrick Bourne, Devin Duvernay, Simi Fahoko, Reggie Virgil.
19:31Uh, it's a good matchup too. I just don't feel wildly confident in Michael Wilson or Jacoby Brissett.

20:47Winning your league means knowing your roster, watching the waiver wire, and remembering the move you said you would make if one injury report broke the right way.
20:55That is where a custom app can actually make sense, and you can build it yourself on Base 44 today.
21:01Let's say you're building your own weekly fantasy command center.
21:04You add your roster, your league settings, and the players you're watching.
21:07Then you have one place to think through waivers, trades, and lineup decisions before Sunday gets here.

21:15Explain how you want it to work, what you want to see, and what should happen next.
21:20You get a real app with real data and results that you can use the entire season, and that's just one example
21:26of something you can build on Base 44. Whatever you imagine, an app, a tool, a website, comes headache-free with database, login,
21:33backend, and hosting built in and already handled. Start for free, upgrade when you're ready.
21:37Go to Base44.com today. All right, where are you at, Erickson?
21:40Michael Wilson lacks the targets. They're trying to figure out what this offense looks like, and it just has not been built really around him.
21:48And then I'm just completely forgetting, who's the wide receiver they brought in this week too?
21:52Because they've been running, you guys remember, because didn't they bring somebody in?
21:56Because Jalen Brooks has been running the Marvin Harrison route.
21:59Kendrick Bourne is running the end, and then they brought somebody in that could be pseudo-annoying.
22:04I'll look it up while you're talking, but talk to us about Michael Wilson.
22:08Three straight games of four catches on seven targets.
22:11The yardage has increased three consecutive weeks, so technically it is trending in a slight positive direction for Michael Wilson.
22:17And if you can't play him against Dallas, then, I mean, you're never going to play this guy, right?
22:22I mean, next week he plays at Seattle, so you're definitely not going to want to play him in that matchup.
22:28So I think that this is a spot where you just got to have to trust in the high value opportunities.
22:35I mean, he saw three goal line looks last week and didn't convert them.
22:39So the high value opportunities are there for him in this offense and in a game where if Jacoby Brissett drops back
22:45to throw 50 times, Michael Wilson doesn't even need to be efficient, potentially, for him to get there.
22:50It may take 15, 16, 17 targets for him to get to 10 catches, 100 yards, or a touchdown, but we've seen
22:57that before with Jacoby Brissett in past matchups, even earlier this season, when Michael Wilson did dabble in a couple double-digit target games.
23:04So I think that you got to play him as the top 20 guy.
23:08Kind of plug your nose and just slide him into your flex or your wide receiver three spot because this has got to be it.
23:15It's make or break for Michael Wilson because if it's not going to happen this week, it's not happening.
23:21Yeah. The move was this, by the way, because I was right.
23:24I couldn't. At first, I looked at the depth chart and I'm like, okay, I just went crazy.
23:30They signed Zay Jones, but that was because they had placed Jalen Brooks on the IR and Zay will come in, but
23:36Zay will come in and play the Jalen Brooks ex-Marvin Harrison role, which is just run and take a body, run away
23:43from the offense and take a body with you.
23:45And that's what Zay will be. But I feel like Jalen Brooks was actually getting targets though.
23:50Yeah. Like he was seeing like red zone opportunities.
23:53So I know it feels like weird to look at the Jalen Brooks absence and think, dude, this is a big boost for Michael Wilson.
24:00But if you look at the splits before Jalen Brooks was on the offense, Michael Wilson was pretty good.
24:06Maybe a Kendrick Bourne thing. This one wasn't originally on here.
24:09I just wanted to ask you this because I don't even have your guys' rank.
24:14DK Metcalf comes in at 21 on this list.
24:16And my question to you, should he be, does he belong?
24:19Does he even belong here? Now he does have two top 20 finishes over the last month and those came in week four and week six.
24:27But here are his other finishes 53, 65, 30, 62.
24:30And last week he finished 33. So two top 20 finishes on the season.
24:34Every other. So that is also two top inside the 30 finishes.
24:38My real question is, is like, why? Like what fits you?
24:41Let's start with you. Then does DK Metcalf really truly belong in the wide receiver to category range?
24:46I know like the theory and thought of DK Metcalf does, but the performance and the output doesn't feel like he should be.
24:53So should he really be in this range? We talked about him on this show the last time the Steelers faced the
24:59Browns and we both had him pretty buried in the rankings.
25:03I think Erickson had him like wide receiver 103 that week.
25:06And part of it was fear of Denzel Ward locking down DK Metcalf, but they were actually pretty clever in the way
25:12they used him, motioning him around in that game, getting him some different matchups against cornerbacks other than Denzel Ward.
25:18And he wound up having a big game. He went over a hundred yards in that game and, you know, made us look silly.
25:25So I just, I would imagine the Steelers are going to take a similar tack this game, try to motion him around
25:32a little bit, make sure he sees some different coverages.
25:35And because he's pretty essential to their passing game.
25:37I mean, it's DK Metcalf and Jeremy Bernard. And that's pretty much it at wide receiver.
25:42Like they have to keep DK involved. Yeah. He was wide receiver 18 that week.
25:47That was his best yards performance. It wasn't his best reception performance.
25:50That was a week six where he caught 11 balls, but otherwise, you know, five and 11, those are the top two reception games he's put out there.
25:58I get the explosion. I guess I just talk about it and think about it from like a trustworthy perspective.
26:04It's very, very boom or bust. He did boom against the Browns last time.
26:08Erickson, just any thoughts? Like, I guess I'm a little, I'm a lot more skeptical about like his rank based on how he's performed this season.
26:16I get the Browns thing. I would imagine there's going to be some adjustments.
26:20So he does not, uh, he's not able to do what he did last time, but that's more speculation.
26:26What do you think about Metcalf? I think from a game script approach, if the Steelers lean more into their running backs
26:32and you could see a scenario like last week where Metcalf only got six targets last week because the Steelers were able
26:39to run the ball effectively on a bad Saints run defense.
26:42We just saw the Cleveland Browns run defense, give up three rushing touchdowns to the lonely Tennessee Titans and Tony Pollard.
26:48So that's kind of where you would be right.
26:51Being lower on Metcalf is just the sheer passing volume from the Steelers.
26:55Cause I think the Steelers have to acknowledge like they can't be a top three passing team rest of the season with Aaron Rogers as their quarterback, right?
27:03He, I think is tied actually in this game, you have the quarterbacks with the most sacks, Aaron Rogers and Deshaun Watson going head to head.
27:10So, uh, get ready to take a look at the under in this game for quarterbacks, taking a ton of sacks.
27:17So that's, I think how this would hit, but the fact that Metcalf is so explosive, he can sometimes get there on the one.
27:24I mean, he had two catches last week, 56 yards, it was still a wide receiver 33.
27:29Right. So even if like the, even in that Browns game, last time we talked about it through the first three quarters, I'm thinking I'm so sharp, man.
27:37Like he is doing absolutely nothing in this game.
27:40And he just blows up in the fourth quarter.
27:42I'm just like crying because I took the under on his receiving yards thinking I was just like ready to go to
27:49the bank and cash in, but he beat me to the punch cause he makes explosive plays.
27:54And to Fitz's point, it's him and Jeremy Bernard that are really like the only show in town when it comes to
28:00the wide receivers because Pittman's hurt when Wilson's not involved, even some of their ancillary guys are banged up too.
28:06So I think that's why I feel like he needs to kind of be in this 20 range, but I agree.
28:12Welsh, it doesn't feel like a really confident click.
28:15Sounds like a team that could maybe use a solid slot receiver who could find some separation and is good with targets.
28:21Just, I mean, they did trade for Pittman already.
28:24Yeah, that's true. Get his buddy. I get his buddy in there.
28:28They could clear it out. All right. Final one in this range is Stefan Diggs.
28:32He comes in at 22. Obviously they're without Terry McLaurin moving forward.
28:36You guys are like right around ECR. I think there's also a discussion to be had.
28:40There was an original thing on this sheet about Antonio Williams.
28:43He had moved off the top 36 and what his viability is.
28:47But overall, how, and also I'd be really curious to your guys' take because like, who is the guy that moves?
28:53Antonio Williams and Stefan Diggs, I think could play like similar roles in the slot.
28:58And like, who's going to be the one that takes over?
29:01If anybody, if either one of these guys takes over the McLaurin role, because I think if Stefan Diggs goes in the
29:07McLaurin role, that's even a more plus for Antonio Williams going into the slot, but I'm just, I'm not sure.
29:13So Fitzy, why don't you try to light some clarity on this situation?
29:17You've got Stefan Diggs at 21, 22 on the list.
29:20How do you sparse this all out? That's it.
29:23You have to figure Diggs is going to be prominently involved with McLaurin out.
29:27I just, I don't know who is going to be the primary slot guy now that Antonio Williams figures to be on
29:33the field a lot more often because Diggs is lined up in the slot on 63% of his snaps this season, according to fantasy points data.
29:41Antonio Williams in the slot on 49% of his snaps.
29:44It just seems like Williams is the more natural slot guy and almost has to play there.
29:49But like they both have sort of inside outside versatility.
29:52Maybe they're just considered interchangeable in David Blas offense.
29:54We don't really know. So we want the slot guy against the Eagles though, because the Eagles defense has been a slot funnel.
30:01And if Diggs is lining up outside, he's probably going to see a lot of the Eagles best cornerback, Quinjon Mitchell.
30:07So I do think though Diggs is probably going to see a healthy dose of targets going forward.
30:13He's had at least six in every game this season.
30:16And I would expect that he's probably going to be in the eight to 10 range the rest of the way.
30:22And a way that that also could work out is maybe Antonio Williams sees more snaps, but not much changes.
30:28And maybe Traylon Burks is the guy that is more of the top off guy and nothing changes for Diggs outside of
30:34seeing more targets, which gets back to the hyper focus of like why he is a lot more viable.
30:40Erickson, you got him at 23. What are your thoughts on Stefan Diggs?
30:44I think he's a strong wide receiver to play.
30:46No McLaurin. And he actually had one of his best games of the season in week one against Philadelphia Eagles.
30:52This is a rematch of a matchup. We already saw play out.
30:56He had four catches for 55 yards and a touchdown on nine targets, but should be noted that Antonio Williams played in
31:02that game, had more yards than Stefan Diggs. He had four catches for 64 yards on four receptions, caught all four of his targets.
31:09And he also scored a touchdown. So I agree with you guys where Antonio Williams is going to actually see the biggest
31:16roll bump in terms of just raw routes run.
31:18He ran the most routes back in week four when Terry McLaurin did not play against the Indianapolis Colts.
31:24And he ran the most routes in this last game that Terry McLaurin left with the injury early on in the game.
31:30Now that doesn't mean that he will outscore Diggs because Diggs might end up running more routes from the slot in a more favorable spot.
31:38And he's also been more of the red zone touchdown guy, especially with Jane Daniels at the under center.
31:43But that's not to say Antonio Williams can also benefit from the slot because I think that both guys are going to
31:50see ample usage inside against Cooper Jean, who just has not been the same guy he was to start his career.
31:56He's just been a guy that teams have been targeting in this Eagle secondary.
32:00He just given up a ton of production. So we have proof of concept that both these guys can deliver against this Eagle secondary.
32:07And that's when we thought this defense was good.
32:10They are just reeling right now, specifically in their secondary.
32:13So I think both guys are actually strong starts.
32:15All right, let's go to our wide receiver threes here.
32:1825 through 36. We've got Omar Cooper coming in at 25.
32:22Trey Tucker at 26. Casey Concepcion, Jeremy Bernard, Ladd McConkie, Denzel Boston at 30.
32:26Back half is Keenan Allen at 31. Roma Dunzey at 32.
32:29Jordan Addison, Emeka Egbuka, Malik Washington, and Makai Lemon.
32:32What do you do with Omar Cooper? Everyone was worried last week about Edna Mitchell coming back and Omar Cooper just kind of squashed that.
32:39He comes in as a, I think this is like the general space we were talking about him is like, maybe he's
32:45just like a solid wide receiver three. Maybe he could dip his toe into wide receiver two general ranges.
32:51He kind of does that here when he's ECR 25.
32:54You guys are both slightly lower at 27, but that still, I think is a, you know, an admission of, of confidence
33:00in that, like he can be a wide receiver three, a high end wide receiver three.
33:05So Erickson, why don't you kick us off with Omar Cooper?
33:08He's been really good against man coverage this year.
33:11If you look at his 23 yards per route run against man, the most by any player in a game last week,
33:18since 2018, 23 yards per route run. He's averaging over 19 yards per target, not per reception per target, because he's caught
33:24all but one of his targets thrown his way.
33:2712 catches for 248 yards and two touchdowns. So eventually these numbers are going to regress in some way, shape or form.
33:33He's not going to catch 95% of his passes thrown his way, but against this Raiders defense, that one of the biggest
33:40struggles that they have had is giving up explosive plays.
33:43So I understand the hesitance of going into buying back into Omari Cooper when it seems like, well, his targets went down,
33:49his snaps went down, his routes went down when Adonai Mitchell came back to the lineup and it didn't matter.
33:55And I think that in another matchup, maybe against a better defense, I would say, okay, I think we can kind of
34:01press pause a little bit on Omar Cooper, just because he's probably not going to be the alpha in the target order.
34:08Garrett Wilson is going to get more involved. He's got bit of a squeaky wheel kind of narrative going, but Omar Cooper
34:14has shown that dude, this guy only needs like four or five targets to deliver because of how explosive he has looked.
34:21And that has been the Raiders biggest weakness so far, especially because they've been playing a lot of man coverage.
34:27So over the last four games, when the Raiders defense has been terrible, they've moved up their man coverage to the seventh
34:33highest rate in the NFL, allowing a 54.5% success rate against man coverage, third highest in the league.
34:39And of course, because Geno Smith has Omar Cooper, he's averaging 9.4 yards per attempt against man coverage, which is the second
34:45highest among all quarterbacks, six touchdowns and zero interceptions.
34:48So it feels like you're kind of riding high here, maybe kind of threading the needle with Omar Cooper, but I think
34:54it's going to keep going for at least one more week.
34:57It's going to be a good test too, because you're going to bring back in Brees Hall, obviously different position, but Brees
35:04kind of dominates in the reception side, them wanting to get him the ball and just, what does this look like when
35:10all my main point is all the pieces are there?
35:13What does that end up looking like? What does it look like for you?
35:17Fitzy Omar Cooper, you got a 27. So yeah, I have to imagine you're probably sharing some of the same sentiment around him.
35:24Can low target shares still equal really good output?
35:27Yeah. Omar Cooper, his talent is legitimate, maybe not 19.1 yards per target legitimate, but I know Erickson and I were both
35:33very pro Omar Cooper in prospect season. So I just, I do have some concerns about how consistent the production is going
35:40to be because it's Geno Smith at quarterback for the Jets.
35:43It's not Joe Burrow or Dak Prescott, guys who've proven they can support more than one consistently fantasy relevant wide receiver.
35:49I don't know if Geno can do that. And you know, when Omar Cooper came off injured reserve in week six, he
35:56played 82% of the offensive snaps that week. Last week, the Jets got Adnay Mitchell back from a finger injury and Cooper's snap share dropped to 64%.
36:04And Garrett Wilson is obviously going to get his fair share of targets.
36:07So this just isn't a totally consolidated passing game.
36:10Jets have three good receivers and they have two pretty talented tight ends in Kenyon Sadiq and Mason Taylor.
36:16I just, there might be some weeks where Omar Cooper gets three targets.
36:20That's my main hang up with him. Casey Concepcion comes in at 27 going up against Pittsburgh.
36:25You guys are kind of split a little bit.
36:27Erickson, you are the high man. Fitzy, you're a little bit lower than ECR.
36:31I want to go to Erickson on this one because you've bumped him up positionally.
36:36You've, you have them as a wide receiver too.
36:38This week. I always feel like I want him to be a wide receiver too, by the way, he just seems like
36:45he's the, just the most fun guy, whether they want to have short passes deep, they want to run the ball.
36:51Like he seems like the guy, you got to get the ball eight to 10 times a game.
36:56Watson is obviously there've been some struggles there as of recent, but wide receiver two for Concepcion.
37:01That's really what I wanted you to hit on Erickson.
37:04You, you've bumped him up. So eight catches on 10 targets for 129 yards last week.
37:09Also added three carries for 23 yards, kind of showcasing his versatility and why he was such a fun player to prospect
37:15coming out of college because this guy was just so dynamic with the ball in his hands.
37:20And Todd Monk was in his bag, dude. Like the way that he's been able to kind of orchestrate this offense with
37:27the Cleveland Browns with Deshaun Watson, he's making it work with a lot of young pieces and he's making it a lot of fun.
37:34So Concepcion had been seeing a lot of volume like throughout the season, every single week, but it was okay.
37:40Just like wide receiver, 40 wide receiver, 40 wide receiver, 35, like not putting up those ceiling games.
37:45And we finally get the ceiling spot here. And again, he's faced the Steelers already this season.
37:50And he had one of these type of floor games.
37:53He had five catches on eight targets for 64 yards.
37:56But if this ceiling game that he just had is more of a sign of things to come, I don't want to
38:03be behind the eight ball when it comes to that.
38:06If this was, oh no, Concepcion has arrived. He is here.
38:09We knew he was good. And now he's finally starting to turn all these opportunities into actual production.
38:14I think it's more likely to continue. So I'm not necessarily afraid of the matchup here against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
38:20He's probably going to draw a lot of coverage from Jalen Ramsey.
38:23Ramsey's played the most snaps at nickel cornerback this season and Concepcion has played around 50% of his snaps from the slot.
38:30He's allowed the fourth highest completion rate in time for the third most touchdowns allowed from the slot this season.
38:36So I think Concepcion breakout was real last week.
38:38And I think it's going to continue because I think that he leads the Browns and targets this season.
38:44Like he has been the most heavily involved guy.
38:47So if the volume's there, we know the talent's there.
38:50And I think the matchup is okay. So I think that he continued to be a top 24 wide receiver too.
38:56Fitz, you're slightly lower. Is there more hesitation? Maybe do the matchup or offense overall.
39:00But talk to us about your thoughts on Concepcion.
39:03I believe you have him at 29. It's a little bit matchup.
39:06I mean, Jalen Ramsey, well, the Steelers have allowed the seventh fewest PPR points per game to slot receivers.
39:12Maybe their teams just aren't challenging Ramsey that much.
39:15I agree with 90% of what Erickson just said about Casey Concepcion.
39:18And I'm hoping that the big game last week is a harbinger of things to come for him.
39:24But Erickson called the game against the Steelers when he had five catches for 64 yards, a floor game.
39:29That wasn't a floor game. That was his second best game of the season.
39:33I mean, take away his 129 yard game last week.
39:36He's averaged 31 receiving yards in his other six games.
39:39And that's with the 64 yard game against the Steelers.
39:42So there have been some pretty ugly floor games for him.
39:45And that's what I'm worried about. But I do think it's possible.
39:49This is sort of the new normal for Concepcion, not 129 yards, but where he's consistently getting, I don't know, at least six to 10 targets a game.
39:57Let's talk about Ladd. Ladd McConkie at wide receiver 29.
40:00The trust is just out the window for obvious reasons.
40:03Going up against the Rams, but both of you guys are higher.
40:07Both of you guys have him at 25, just on the brink.
40:10You both want to almost make him a wide receiver too, but he doesn't get there.
40:15But that's four spots higher than consensus. Bitsy, why don't you kick off?
40:19Where do you think Ladd can have the bounce back on the back half of this season?
40:24He's one of the hardest receivers to rank. And this dude has just been through the ringer this season.
40:29Injured his ribs in week one, hurt his foot in week four, got a concussion against the Chiefs in week six, although
40:36he's expected to be back and cleared for this week's game against the Rams.
40:40McConkie had five catches for 82 yards and a touchdown against the Cardinals in week one.
40:44Everything seemed fine, has not done much since, but possibly because of all the injuries.
40:49You would think that McConkie has to play a substantial role this week for the Chargers.
40:54Like Quinton Johnston has not done anything this year.
40:56Trey Harris has been dealing with a hamstring injury.
40:59Not sure if he's going to play or not.
41:02Arande Gadsden Jr. hasn't done anything. The Chargers running game is completely broken.
41:05If Ladd makes it through this game intact, and that's kind of a big if, I would imagine he finishes with at least seven or eight targets.
41:13Actually, you have Omar Cooper one spot higher than Ladd, but where are you at on Ladd making it through the game
41:20and being, I don't know, fantasy viable at all?
41:22I have Ladd ahead of Omar Cooper. Do I not?
41:25I thought you had, maybe I just made that up.
41:28Don't you have? No, I have Ladd, wide receiver 20, and I feel so dumb.
41:33Conception you have higher. That's my bad. Yeah, because I feel more confident about Conception and the volume that he's going to get.
41:40And Ladd, I think, fits a spot on here.
41:42This is the hardest guy to rank because he has played one game with over 50% of the snaps this season.
41:48So part of it is just banging on, okay, can this guy play all four quarters, right?
41:53And like, what does that look like? And I think that there's some upside with him.
41:58You're playing against a high powered Rams offense on the other side that's going to put up points.
42:03You're playing in a dome setting where there are no actual Los Angeles fans.
42:08So we don't know who's actually going to this game.
42:10But I think that if the Chargers office is ever going to do anything, it would have to be this week.
42:17You've had an entire bye week to hopefully get guys healthy.
42:20I don't know what the status of Joe Alt is, but there's a chance that he could come back.
42:25And that matters a lot, right? It's easy to us just right off the Chargers every single week.
42:31But if they do get guys back and healthy, then we do need to kind of readjust a little bit of the
42:37expectations of, okay, well, the odds of line is in a little bit better shape.
42:42Maybe Justin Herbert can have a little more time to throw in.
42:45The only thing that's actually worked at all this year is actually when Lamb and Conkey has been on the field, right?
42:52He's averaging over 2.2 yards per route run this season, which is really good.
42:56It's just, you completely forget about it because he's barely been on the field because he's been banged up so much.
43:02So I think that there's a chance where Lad could turn out like a top 15 finish this week.
43:08And we're all like, oh, how did this happen?
43:10It's like, well, he just played the whole game, right?
43:13And that's why he was a top 15 guy.
43:16So it feels really hard to make the confident play with Lamb and Conkey.
43:20But I do think that this could be a decent setup for him as just this is where all the targets are going.
43:27No one else in this office is commanding any type of volume.
43:30And I think that when McDaniel and Harbaugh look back at the offense and what worked, the only thing that worked was
43:37going to Lad McConkey when he was healthy on the field.
43:40So I think that they just reemphasize that. And it's just a matter of, can he survive the game?
43:46We'll see. Deep plays. These are guys that didn't make the top 36 on ECR, but you guys like Fitzy.
43:51Why don't you give us your deeper play wide receiver for week eight?
43:55It's a conditional one, Welsh. It's Jacoby Lane for the Ravens, conditional upon the return of Lamar Jackson from his ankle injury.
44:02And if Lamar does come back, Jacoby Lane becomes a very viable play in a shootout game against the Bills.
44:08Jacoby Lane routinely making highlight reel catches for the Ravens at training camp.
44:11So I just want to see what he can do in an extended run with Lamar at quarterback.
44:17Erickson, deep play for you. I think we talked about this guy and you got a pretty good aggressive rank on him,
44:23but he does not in the top 36 on ECR.
44:26Yeah, I think that ECR is lagging. Antonio Williams, wide receiver 30.
44:30I think that he can benefit just like Stephon Diggs can in this particular matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
44:35We see this all the time with rookies after their team's bye weeks.
44:39You get a usage bump. So Dan Quinn has already stated that Antonio Williams is going to play more in the offense without Terry McLaurin.
44:46So I think that he is set up really, really well here.
44:50Again, if you look at the last time he played without Terry in the lineup, he had eight targets, which trailed only Stephon Diggs.
44:57But in that game, he had an 87 yard touchdown that was called back due to a penalty.
45:02So I think that if we all just kind of go back and remember, oh wait, he actually did produce in this
45:09game, he would be ranked much higher. But when you look at that final box score of the last time we saw
45:15him without Terry McLaurin, it's three catches for 21 yards.
45:18So you think, oh, like he didn't really do that much, but you factor in the 87 yard touchdown, you're like, oh wow.
45:25Like this guy actually has upside with Stephon Diggs, where Diggs hasn't gone over 55 yards in a game this season.
45:31Like that's his high. So I think Diggs has the higher floor just because he's been more consistent, but from a ceiling perspective, dude, Williams can boogie.
45:39Like I think that he could generate a lot of big explosive plays against this Eagles defense, especially when he does get lined up in the slot.
45:47So I think that he's a really fun play this week.
45:50All right. Lots of plays. ECR is going to continue to kind of move.
45:55That gives you guys a general space of where these guys are at, some of their favorite plays, some of the biggest questions.
