49

Alvin Kamara

NegativeProjection0:44

Looking like a 30-year-old running back past his prime as a rusher in Saints backfield without Etienne; part of ineffective Saints run game that ranks bottom-five in rushing yards and EPA per rush.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveBreakout45:05

The source identifies Braylon Allen as a hold (if you have him) or buy (if you don't), noting he has looked 'really, really good' when given the opportunity. Allen is the lowest ranked of the Broncos trio in consensus rest-of-season rankings but is the source's favorite due to upside if Brees Hall is not fully healthy. The source emphasizes Allen is the most attractive option among the three Broncos backs.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeDepth Chart23:43

Hall is ranked ahead of Ollie Gordon despite coming back from injury, which the source views as an overvaluation relative to Gordon's consistent production and schedule.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeProjection39:39

The source identifies Bryce Young as a sell or fade, noting he has the most difficult schedule rest of season for fantasy QBs. While Young took advantage of early cupcake matchups, the source expects him to regress and become matchup-dependent rather than an auto-start. Young's effectiveness under pressure and downfield throwing are not sustainable week-to-week. He's ranked QB16 rest of season, one spot ahead of Malik Willis, making him a candidate to trade away in favor of ascending options like Willis.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveRole39:12

The source notes that Caleb Douglas is making plays in the Dolphins offense, mentioned alongside other emerging young players like Ollie Gordon and Greg Dulcich as part of an offense that is starting to produce.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection0:51

Two touchdown receptions in Week 8 vs. Eagles; continues to be a star performer for the Cowboys offense in high-scoring game.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeValue23:43

Brown is ranked ahead of Ollie Gordon; the source prefers Gordon's consistent production and schedule over Brown, suggesting Gordon should be ranked closer to Brown's tier.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeValue23:43

Hubbard is ranked ahead of Ollie Gordon; the source prefers Gordon's consistent production and schedule over Hubbard, suggesting Gordon should be ranked closer to Hubbard's tier.

Insight page

CJ Donaldson

NegativeRole0:57

Mixed into Saints backfield committee; used primarily in pass protection and short-yardage situations.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveProjection0:36

Three touchdown passes on 212 passing yards in Week 8 vs. Eagles; efficient performance in high-scoring Cowboys victory.

Insight page

Elijah Mitchell

NegativeRole0:35

Made an appearance in Week 8 vs. Cowboys; source was unaware he was on the Eagles roster, highlighting the depth chart chaos in Philadelphia's backfield.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveBust0:35

Despite scoring a touchdown in Week 8, Pickens ranks 20th in target share and outside the top 24 in air yards share this season; has underperformed relative to second-round draft capital; wide receiver 18 on the season in half-PPR scoring; source notes he hasn't shined like other Cowboys stars (Javante Williams, CeeDee Lamb) and lacks the big downfield plays seen in 2023; potential trade candidate given lack of long-term contract with Dallas.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

PositiveRole39:12

The source expresses enthusiasm about Greg Dulcich, noting he is 'alive, catching passes, leading the team in receiving yards' in the Dolphins offense. Dulcich is highlighted as part of an improving offensive unit.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveUsage49:09

The source notes J.K. Dobbins led the carry total with 8 carries (including penalties) for 40 yards in the recent game, one more carry than Jonah Coleman's 6 carries. Dobbins started the game and scored the touchdown, receiving all red zone opportunities while Coleman had none. This usage pattern suggests Dobbins remains the primary back despite Coleman's return from injury.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeRole3:26

Has completely fallen off in fantasy usage; no longer the tight end one on the Cowboys; not running enough routes or playing enough snaps; touchdown-or-bust player in deeper formats; Troy Aikman noted on broadcast that Revan Spann Ford is being used much more than Ferguson.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection0:39

Career-high 155 rushing yards and a late touchdown in Week 8 vs. Eagles; first Cowboys running back to rush for 150+ yards since Ezekiel Elliott; excellent fantasy day anchored by strong rushing efficiency and goal-line work.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeInjury21:00

Jalen Wright cannot stay on the field for the Dolphins because he keeps getting hurt in every single game he plays in, making him unreliable and ensuring Ollie Gordon remains the featured back.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury0:19

Has had his own injury issues; source suggests Ollie Gordon is preferable option given Love's injury uncertainty.

Insight page
PositiveInjury18:39

Jeremiah Love has had injury issues that make him less attractive than Ollie Gordon as a rest-of-season target, according to the source.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout28:15

Named as a potential second-half breakout candidate in a trade context; the source suggests Love as an alternative target if betting on a second-half emergence, particularly for teams looking to move Tony Pollard.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeBust44:56

The source identifies Jonah Coleman as a sell-high opportunity despite hype around his return from injury. While Coleman is ranked as the top Broncos RB in rest-of-season rankings, the source notes touches were still split with J.K. Dobbins (Dobbins had 8 carries, Coleman 6 before finishing with 3 more in the fourth quarter). Sean Payton's press conference comment that 'we got to get this guy more touches' is characterized as a 'kiss of death' indicating Coleman will be 'totally nuked.' Coleman had no red zone attempts while Dobbins scored the touchdown. The source emphasizes this is a screaming sell-high opportunity to capitalize on hype before the committee nature of the Broncos backfield becomes clear.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeValue26:57

Referenced as a sought-after running back in trade discussions; the source uses Taylor as a comparison point for the level of draft capital a contender might pay in a trade, implying Taylor commands more interest than Tony Pollard.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue18:39

Josh Jacobs is not ranked very highly in consensus rest-of-season rankings but is producing borderline RB1 numbers every week. The source notes he is more attainable than his production would normally suggest, particularly if a backup running back steps into the starting lineup due to a season-long injury.

Insight page
NegativeValue36:52

The source advises not to sell Jacobs too cheaply as a trade candidate; he's characterized as a 'free roll' given his prior production and expected RB1 performance this week against Carolina Panthers. The take emphasizes getting a solid running back in return rather than accepting a discount.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeProjection0:52

Has not been the answer for Saints run game in Etienne's absence; part of ineffective backfield committee.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

NegativeBreakout0:41

67 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven receptions from eight targets in Week 8 vs. Cowboys; first-round rookie receiver showing potential for second-half breakout; however, performance came without Duntavian Wicks and Devontae Smith playing; backup quarterback Tanner McKee may help Lemon with more over-the-middle throws than Jalen Hurts typically provides; source views this as potential sell-high scenario given limited prior encouragement this season and uncertainty around Smith/Barkley return.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveBreakout38:32

The source identifies Malik Willis as a buy for rest of season based on rushing upside and favorable schedule. Willis has been a top-15 fantasy QB in back-to-back games with eight carries in each; he has the league's second-highest scramble rate at 13%, most scramble rush yards, and most fantasy points on scrambles among all QBs. The source expects him to be a fringe QB1 every week based on rushing volume alone, with upcoming matchups against Patriots, Lions, Colts, and Bills. Willis is ranked QB17 rest of season, up from the low 20s the prior week, and the source has him at QB16, potentially moving ahead of Tyler Shuck.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

PositiveValue0:18

Consistent RB1 production over last four games since Etienne got hurt; RB13, RB12, RB13, RB14 in half-PPR scoring across those four games; 25 carries, 103 yards, and a touchdown in most recent game; source notes name-brand value is still underrating him in updated rest-of-season rankings where he sits at RB23; source prefers Gordon over Saquon Barkley and Jeremiah Love given their respective injury concerns; most consistent running back in fantasy football right now.

Insight page
PositiveValue18:39

Ollie Gordon is ranked RB23 in consensus rest-of-season rankings despite producing borderline RB1 numbers; the source argues his name-brand value as a backup is suppressing his draft price relative to his production. Gordon has 25 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown in his most recent game and scored 13, 17, 15, and 17 PPR fantasy points in his first four starts. The source emphasizes Gordon is more attainable than his production suggests and recommends trading for him immediately.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup19:59

Ollie Gordon has a favorable rest-of-season schedule: Patriots (Week 8), Lions, Colts, Bills, Jets (whom he recently shredded), Broncos (weak against the run), Bears, Packers, Chargers, and Bills. The source describes this as a wonderful schedule that should support continued production.

Insight page
PositiveRole21:00

Ollie Gordon has dusted every other running back on the Dolphins roster; Jalen Wright cannot stay on the field due to recurring injuries in every game he plays. The source expects the Dolphins to feature Gordon going forward, especially after winning their first game of the year with him as the lead back.

Insight page
NegativeValue21:29

Gordon is producing at an RB15-or-better level every week as a starter with an amazing schedule ahead; the source argues he should be ranked right behind Chuba Hubbard, Beshel Tootin, and Chase Brown but instead trails injury-risk players like Breece Hall, Ramondre Stevenson, and Quinshaw Judkins. At low-end RB2 pricing, Gordon represents a buy-medium opportunity because his consistent efficiency and volume output justify higher ranking than current market consensus.

Insight page
PositiveUsage21:29

Gordon is getting significant volume and operating efficiently in the backfield; A-Chan could potentially do more given his explosiveness, but Gordon's current production level with his volume share means no one is touching him in the backfield. He is priced as a low-end RB2, which aligns with his current output.

Insight page
PositiveValue28:15

The source prefers Ollie Gordon straight up over Tony Pollard in a trade scenario. Gordon is ranked one spot ahead of Pollard in rest-of-season consensus rankings and represents a safer floor; the source describes him as a 'bird in hand' play, expecting him to be at worst an RB2 rest of season with known usage, whereas Pollard's production is contingent on uncertain Titans offense usage carrying over.

Insight page
PositiveRole39:12

The source mentions Ollie Gordon as a running back to buy rest of season, noting he is making plays in the Dolphins offense alongside other emerging young players. Gordon is referenced as part of an offense that is starting to produce and has favorable matchups ahead.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeRole42:22

The source identifies Quinshawn Judkins as a sell, noting he scored two touchdowns last week but did not see the receiving usage hoped for with Dylan Sampson back in the fold. Judkins also faces a brutal matchup against the Steelers this week, who have been difficult for fantasy running backs. However, the source later reconsiders and suggests buying Judkins if forced to choose, citing at least volume being present in the offense.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeDepth Chart23:43

Stevenson is ranked ahead of Ollie Gordon but faces the threat of Travion Henderson potentially taking over the backfield, creating uncertainty that makes him less attractive than Gordon's guaranteed volume.

Insight page
NegativeValue42:22

The source identifies Rhamondre Stevenson as a buy in a buy-sell-hold trio, noting he is ranked higher in rest-of-season rankings but is more attainable in trades due to market concerns about a potential split backfield with Travion Henderson. The source notes Stevenson got fantasy points cheaply in a recent Thursday game with receiving production and a touchdown catch before halftime, though acknowledges this receiving volume may not be sustainable.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveValue47:27

The source suggests R.J. Harvey may be the best value among Broncos running backs, noting that whoever the market believes will be the guy will be wrong. Harvey has received usage from Sean Payton to score touchdowns (12 last year as a rookie, one in each of the last two weeks, one on a big play). The source indicates Harvey is involved in the passing game and has earned opportunities before, making him potentially undervalued compared to the hype around Coleman.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury0:31

Re-injured hamstring early in Week 8 vs. Cowboys on one of his first carries; spent much of the game getting sideline treatment; playing on short week heading into Week 9 with uncertain status; source expresses concern about rest-of-season outlook given injury uncertainty, potential trade deadline sale by Eagles, and offensive line/quarterback issues; recommends selling low if possible rather than holding; notes Eagles may not risk playing him if they become sellers at deadline.

Insight page
NegativeValue18:39

The source prefers Ollie Gordon over Saquon Barkley in rest-of-season rankings, suggesting Barkley's name-brand value may be overrating his current production relative to Gordon's output.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveMatchup0:59

Destroyed the Cleveland Browns run defense in recent game; source cites this as evidence that Saints (with Etienne) would have favorable matchup against Browns in Week 9.

Insight page
NegativeBust24:45

The source identifies Tony Pollard as a running back to sell after his three-touchdown performance against Cleveland in week seven. The source argues this was a perfect storm matchup—Pollard had only one touchdown prior to week seven, hadn't rushed for 100+ yards since week 16 of last season, and benefited from Tajay Spears and Nick Singleton being out. While Pollard was efficient in the game itself, the source believes this represents peak performance and cannot get better, especially with Spears likely returning to reduce his workload. Pollard rose from unranked to RB24 in consensus rest-of-season rankings after this one game, but the source questions what has fundamentally changed about his situation. The source also notes uncertainty about whether a potential trade would help or hurt his fantasy value.

Insight page
NegativeValue26:57

At RB24 in rest-of-season rankings, Pollard feels close to his ceiling; the source recommends selling high after a three-touchdown game despite his connection to Saints head coach Kellen Moore (his former offensive coordinator in Dallas). The trade risk is real—if Pollard lands with the right team, selling could be a mistake—but the source argues the odds of both a trade and a beneficial landing spot are low enough to justify moving him. Pollard has been untrustworthy in the Titans offense and hasn't been playable most weeks; upcoming matchups (Bengals on the road) get harder.

Insight page
NegativeBust42:22

The source identifies Tony Pollard as a sell coming off a three-touchdown game. In a buy-sell-hold trio with Rhamondre Stevenson and Quinshawn Judkins, Pollard is the clear sell candidate, with the source locking in the sell recommendation.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveValue0:44

Eligible to come off injured reserve after Saints bye week (Week 8); hamstring injury suffered in Week 3 has sidelined him for four games; source views him as quintessential buy-low target—not top of mind, hasn't played in over a month, and name recognition is low; Saints rank bottom-five in rushing yards and EPA per rush without him; Etienne was brought in to fix Saints run game; favorable schedule ahead includes Cleveland (home), Carolina, Chicago, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Carolina; currently RB30 in rest-of-season rankings; potential for boost if offensive line (Kelvin Banks, Cesar Ruiz) returns to health; source notes he wasn't getting goal-line work early but showed efficiency (4.4+ yards per attempt in two games) and receiving upside (nine targets in one game).

Insight page
NegativeProjection27:14

Projected as the RB1 for the Saints rest of season, though currently ranked outside the top 30 running backs overall. The source expresses concern about a potential hamstring injury relapse or re-injury, which could open the door for Tony Pollard to become more valuable if Etienne is unavailable.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveValue38:12

The source identifies Trevor Lawrence as a buy for the rest of season because he has the best schedule for fantasy quarterbacks going forward.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeRole45:05

The source expresses uncertainty about Woody Marks, stating 'I'm not convinced that Woody Marks is any good though.' In the buy-sell-hold trio, the source ultimately holds Woody Marks, though without strong conviction, and notes that if Montgomery does not return, Marks could become more relevant.

0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hello everybody, welcome into the FantasyPros - Fantasy Football Podcast.
0:05I'm Ryan Warmly joined by Andrew Erickson. On this Tuesday morning, we're talking some Week 8 buys and sells at the running back and quarterback positions.
0:12Part 2 will feature the wide receiver and tight end positions.
0:15You can catch that on YouTube or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
0:18Erickson, how are you doing my friend? Doing good, Week 8.
0:22I have to admit though, this was one of the toughest buy sells type of show to get prepped for because I
0:28just wasn't feeling a lot of my names. Honestly, I really wanted to run back a lot of the names that we've
0:34mentioned throughout the previous weeks, but trying to create some new names because if you read the articles, always buying Chase Brown
0:40because he's a buy low target, but I didn't want to keep putting on the same guys.
0:44So a little bit of a struggle here this morning, but we will persevere.
0:48Hopefully better than like the Eagles last night. That was an abysmal showing from a team that's just so broken in terms
0:54of who they have left in the offense. And yeah, we can break it down a little bit.
0:59I too am starting to get to the point in the year where I feel like I still really believe in a
1:05lot of these buys and sells we've talked about.
1:08And therefore, I don't want to get too repetitive by bringing them up, you know, the same names.
1:13We actually only have about a month left of this show, Erickson, before we pivot to our predictions version of this show,
1:19which we'll do after the fantasy trade deadline happens in most leagues.
1:22So that's just a little housekeeping for about a month from now, but we still got a handful of weeks to go here.
1:29Let's get into that game that you just alluded to Cowboys 38 Eagles 21 on Monday night football.
1:34Obviously very high scoring game here. Cowboys very good.
1:36Dak Prescott throwing for three touchdowns, just 212 yards.
1:39Javante Williams really an excellent game. Career high 155 rushing yards.
1:42I think they said he was the first cowboy to rush for 150 yards since Ezekiel Elliott.
1:46He did get the late touchdown to sort of cement a really excellent fantasy day from Javante.
1:51CeeDee Lamb catches two touchdowns. Pickens just gets his 57 yards, but he gets into the end zone as well.
1:57On the Cowboys side, it was really the stars being stars.
2:00Do you have anything fantasy relevant on the Cowboys side or just like, hey, really good game by a good offense and their best players?
2:06Pretty status quo. I mean, Jake Ferguson has completely fallen off a cliff in terms of his fantasy usage.
2:12Like it was the first thing too on the broadcast.
2:14Troy Aikman was just talking about Revan Spann Ford about, yeah, they're using this guy a lot more than Jake Ferguson, who
2:21really isn't even the tight end one on the team anymore.
2:24So Jake Ferguson really haven't been using him the last couple of weeks, but he can be easily, even in like deeper formats.
2:30Like Jake Ferguson is totally 100% touchdown or bust, not running enough routes, not playing enough snaps for tight ends.
2:35I think Pickens deserves just a little bit of a call out here again, scored the touchdown, but he's really just been
2:42kind of underwhelming versus where you drafted. I know you talked about Pickens probably a month ago as a sell when he
2:48was ranked still as a top fantasy wide receiver one, kind of on that fringe.
2:52And really, he's been a fantasy wide receiver two, right?
2:54That's where he is in the rest of season rankings.
2:57And I think that he's probably a sell just based on the touchdown here.
3:01Now, the Cowboys do have some good matchups coming up, but I will say if they lean into the run game like
3:07they did in this particular matchup, well, we're not going to see as many boom performances.
3:12George Pickens on the year. He is 20th in target share.
3:15So wide receiver two, and he's actually outside of the top 24 wide receivers in area chair this season.
3:20So he's not really popping off as many of those big downfield plays like we saw in 2025.
3:25And also keep in the back of your mind that, I mean, do the Cowboys trade George Pickens?
3:30Does another team come asking because he doesn't have a long-term contract with the Cowboys?
3:34Do the Chiefs say, hey, your guys aren't really using Pickens that much.
3:38They like floor and I, they're running the ball effectively.
3:40Do they make a move for a player like Pickens?
3:43And, you know, does that maybe move his fantasy value?
3:46So he's a player that I think is just worth calling out just because he hasn't really shined like a lot of
3:52these other Dallas Cowboys like Javante and CeeDee Lamb, which is like more of the same.
3:56Wide receiver 18 this week. Wide receiver 18 on the season as well in half PPR scoring.
4:01That's in season total stats. That's not per game basis.
4:04So obviously they haven't had their bye yet. He hasn't missed time from injury.
4:08So that helps that ranking a little bit. But yeah, he's, I have basically no George Pickens anywhere because I thought he was overdrafted.
4:14We have him in the tailgate team. I was going to say, the one place I have him is our tailgate team
4:20because you and Debra were excited to take him.
4:23And honestly, I was okay with it because it was like, I forget what pick it was exactly, but it was like
4:29the second, it was a 16 team league. And it was like our pick in round two, which was like, it was
4:35after pick 30 overall or something around there. So I was totally fine with it there.
4:39But yeah, I thought he was getting overdrafted during the season.
4:42So that's one of, one of the few correct calls.
4:45He's one of those players. And this is a reminder I have to tell myself, especially with this year heading into next
4:51season, the really high priced wide receiver twos on their team that have like these awesome years typically seem to always get overdrafted the following season.
4:58So I bring that up because we're going to have conversations probably next year about Jalen Coker and Matthew Gold and like
5:05these like number two receivers on their teams. And where they're going to be drafted next year, it's going to be so,
5:11oh my God, like so much higher than this year.
5:13And typically that's a pattern to fade. And I wish I had really paid more attention to that when it came to George Pickens.
5:20Yeah. I wonder, because the thing with Pickens that made me so disinterested in him this year at his price was that
5:26like we can point to why he was getting so much usage.
5:29And it was CeeDee Lamb was coming back from a high ankle sprain, which is, it does nuke you like for, for several weeks.
5:36And, you know, in the event of like Matthew Golden, well, he is just flat out targeting Christian Watson.
5:41You know, Jalen Coker is playing well when Ted Rowan McMillan is on the field.
5:45So I wonder if maybe it's a little bit different than the Pickens scenario.
5:49But I do think that'll be a really interesting thing to dive deep into in the summer.
5:54The Cowboys matchups just so if you have George Pickens and maybe you're panicking, obviously he scored the touchdown here.
5:59So you feel fine about that. And he's had a couple of decent yardage games.
6:04The next schedule. It's just that he hasn't been amazing.
6:06It's not that he's been awful. No. Yeah. But not has not lived up to the second round draft capital from fantasy
6:12drafts schedule for Dallas, Arizona Colts, 49ers, Titans. Like, that's really good.
6:16So if you do want off Pickens and you think that the upside is not there, he just has to blow up
6:22in one of these games here where you could definitely see, especially against, I mean, Bo Nix was productive against the Arizona Colts.
6:28Cardinals. So I think that Dak and the boys are going to have some big performances over the next couple games.
6:34Just very quickly on the Eagles. I don't really think there's much to talk about.
6:38Again, backup quarterback for the rest of the season.
6:41Running backs continue to get hurt. Makai Lemon, bit of a breakout here.
6:4467 yards and a touchdown. Seven receptions on eight targets.
6:47He would not be the first time that we saw a first round rookie receiver take a step forward in the second half of the season.
6:54Now, again, it's different quarterback situation than expected and all that having been said.
6:58Where's your head at on Lemon moving forward? He's somebody that you're interested in adding to your teams, looking to trade for
7:04as a second half rookie breakout, one of those stereotypes?
7:07Or do you think this is just like, hey, it was kind of a nice game against a bad defense and you're still kind of avoiding?
7:14Yeah, with the caveat that it came without Duntavian Wicks playing.
7:17It came without Devontae Smith playing. Do those guys return to the offense?
7:21Now, I do think that having Tanner McKee a little bit more opt to throw over the middle of the field is
7:27helpful for a player like Makai Lemon. Because I know there's a lot of question marks about what Jalen Hurts.
7:32Does he throw the ball over the middle of the field?
7:35And they even brought up on the broadcast Aikman and Joe Buck talking about, yeah, like that's what they're going to see
7:41more of this Sean Mannion offense, like traditionally, because Tanner McKee is just kind of got to do what he was told.
7:47So the Eagles, if their defense continues to play this bad, they're going to be throwing a ton in the second half of the game.
7:54So I think there is going to be passing volume to go along here.
7:58So I think that Lemon, obviously, if he's on waivers, you're going to be adding him.
8:03But to me, it almost feels like maybe more of a sell high scenario.
8:07Now, you can always say that in theory when it comes to these waiver guys, but usually you don't get that much for them.
8:13So I don't think I would go out and trade for Makai Lemon personally, just because of the optics of this particular spot.
8:19Like he really needed to deliver in this spot.
8:22And obviously he did, but he's had a lot of chances so far this season and hasn't necessarily been super encouraging.
8:28So if they shut down Devante Smith, they shut down Saquon Barkley.
8:31That's the other big thing from this game is Barkley, right?
8:34Re-injuring his hamstring on one of the big first carries of the game.
8:38He looked like he was going to be, oh, here we go.
8:41Saquon Barkley, he's going to have a monster game.
8:43He re-injures it in the, basically the entire game.
8:46They're panicking him on the sideline. He's getting work on his hamstring.
8:49So playing on a short week, I don't know if we're going to see Saquon Barkley this week.
8:54I don't know if we're going to see Saquon Barkley again, potentially, because the Eagles are looking like they're going to be
9:00total sellers at the trade deadline after losing another game.
9:03What's the point of putting Saquon Barkley out there?
9:06And can they even trade Saquon Barkley, right? Can they trade away, you know, quote unquote damaged goods if he is banged up?
9:12Now, maybe a team just can get him for even cheaper or something along those lines.
9:16But right now, Barkley to me is a player I almost want to sell low on.
9:21And just, I don't want this guy on my roster because I have no idea what the rest of season outlook for
9:27him is going to be, whether he's healthy, whether he's on the Eagles.
9:30I just not feeling very, very good about him because now it looks like Damien Pierce.
9:35He also got banged up in this game. Elijah Mitchell made an appearance.
9:38Like, I didn't even know Elijah Mitchell was on the Eagles until they called his name.
9:43Like, yep, Elijah Mitchell's on the game because every other running back on the Eagles.
9:47I also did not know he was on the Eagles.
9:50I will admit it. I'm just like, oh man, like what is happening here?
9:54So, Eagles are obviously down significantly bad here. But I don't know.
9:57What do you feel about Saquon? Do you just try to sell low on him?
10:01Fitz was all over last week that they shouldn't be starting him in this game.
10:05He was like really pushing back against the reports.
10:08Like, oh, he'll be ready to go here. And they think he's going to play this week, trying to get in that direction.
10:14He was like, why? Like, they should be saving him, trying to make sure he's fully healthy for a potential trade.
10:20The season is going down the toilet. Why bother playing him?
10:23And, you know, with a bit of hindsight, it looks okay.
10:26But he is somebody that if I could get anything for, I would.
10:30I don't know what you're getting back. But I want to get off that.
10:33So the guy that I'm kind of circling as like this kind of buy low.
10:38He didn't mention him as my buy low running back.
10:40But could you get Kyle Menunga for Saquon Barkley?
10:43And just be like, I want the Bears running backs.
10:46I know they're good. I know he's hurt. I bet there are leagues where that could happen.
10:50Because it definitely feels like you're selling low on Barkley for sure.
10:54Yeah. But who scores more points for a season?
10:56Like, I don't think it's like a sure fire that, oh, it's got to be Saquon Barkley.
11:01Because we don't know his status whatsoever. It's one of those things, too, where it's like, where's the upside with Saquon at this point for this season?
11:08True. And Menunga, there's a very clear upside case.
11:11If something ever happens with DeAndre Swift and Menunga is healthy himself, he's going to be a top 10 running back every week in that scenario.
11:18You know, whereas Saquon, it's really hard to imagine him getting there right now with this offensive line at this quarterback and the injuries piling up.
11:25We don't know if he's going to get traded.
11:28Like, I would rather just not have the headache, honestly.
11:30So I actually think that's kind of a reasonable one, even though it sounds crazy in a vacuum.
11:35Let's get into our running backs to buy, actually.
11:38We'll start with the first guy you want to talk about here.
11:41Which running back are you looking to acquire right now?
11:44So speaking of injured running backs, Travis Etienne Jr., running back for the New Orleans Saints.
11:48So the situation with Etienne, or excuse me, A-chan.
11:51Sorry, I'm getting his name wrong. Travis Etienne. We haven't seen him on the field in so long.
11:56You forgot the name change. I know, I forgot that he actually changed his name to Travis Etienne.
12:01So he is eligible to come off injured reserve after the Saints bye week.
12:05So he's been out the last four games with a hamstring injury that he suffered back in week three.
12:10By the way, the Saints are on bye this week, just to know from me.
12:14Yes, that is correct. So give him an extra week to hopefully get healthy.
12:18Now, the Kellen Moore coaching staff has not necessarily indicated that, oh, he's definitely going to come back right after the bye week.
12:24But it lines up with the timeline that he's eligible.
12:27So earliest we could see him is in week nine when the Saints take on the Cleveland Browns.
12:32That's a home game. But for me, it's more of buying low on a running back that, look, he was brought in to fix the Saints run game.
12:40And obviously when he went down, we've seen what the Saints run game has looked like.
12:44In his absence. And it has been arguably one of the worst run games in the NFL between Alvin Kamara looking like a 30 year old running back.
12:52That's way past his prime as a rusher. Kendra Miller has not really been the answer for them.
12:57And they keep mixing in CJ Donaldson as well.
12:59We're using him in pass protection and in short yardage situation.
13:02So offensive line has also been banged up for the Saints.
13:05However, there is a chance that they do get Kelvin Banks back at some point later on down the road.
13:11And Cesar Ruiz also looks like a player that who will come back after the bye week.
13:15So I think that getting Etienne at least or excuse me, getting A-Chan back as the starter here.
13:20I think that actually could help improve things for the Saints run game because this is what their plan was originally.
13:26Right. They brought him in so they could have because they had a bad run game last year, too, when it was
13:32Kendra Miller and it was Alvin Kamara because they knew they couldn't do this.
13:36Right. Currently, Saints rank bottom five rushing yards and EPA per rush so far this season.
13:41So given the fact that A-Chan is ranked outside the top 24, he's really more of a RB30 in the rest of season rankings.
13:47Look, if you're hurting at running back and I think that A-Chan could make some sense for a second half play when
13:53you look at the schedule for the New Orleans Saints.
13:56Right. We just talked about it. Cleveland Browns at home.
13:59That's a great match. We just saw the Cleveland Browns get destroyed by the Tennessee Titans run game and Tony Pollard.
14:05Then you get Carolina. Then you get Chicago. Then you get Cincinnati.
14:08Then you go Green Bay. Then you get Carolina again.
14:11So there's a lot of really good spots here for a player like A-Chan.
14:15If he can come back and get healthy, I think that you could see a boost from this run game.
14:20So that's why he is my buy low because I do think that he is a just quintessential type of buy low player, not top of mind.
14:28He hasn't played in over a month. I got his name wrong.
14:31So that's why I think you can get him pretty, pretty cheap.
14:34What do you make of what he looked like in those first three weeks?
14:38Because there was some like even before he got hurt, there was disappointment about how he was performing.
14:43Maybe a little bit overblown. He wasn't getting in the end zone.
14:46Right. And they weren't using him there. And so that was like a big problem.
14:50Like he doesn't have a touchdown of the season.
14:53But, you know, in one of those games, he had nine targets, which we'd love to see, you know, in any sort of half PPR or PPR format.
15:01In two of those games, he averaged at least 4.4 yards per attempt.
15:04So it's like not like he was awful efficiency wise.
15:07But you look at the overall stats and it's like, okay, he's averaging like eight ish points a game in half PPR scoring.
15:13That wasn't like where I was drafting him. And I, HN was somebody that was really interested in this year as sort
15:19of one of those dead zone running backs. It felt like a disappointment.
15:23I'm not sure to what degree that is the case.
15:26What did you make of his usage and production in those first three weeks before getting hurt?
15:30He was definitely a player we talked about as a sell early on in the season because of the committee usage.
15:36But what we've seen with the Saints offense so far in their run game is why should they continue to run a committee?
15:43It's not working. So let's commit to the guy that we paid all this money to in free agency.
15:48Obviously, we haven't been able to see that through because he's been banged up.
15:52But if he's healthy and ready to go, they got to change something up, right?
15:56And I always try to think about how teams adjust.
15:59Again, the Saints are on their bye week this week.
16:01What is going to change? I think they're going to change up the backfield.
16:05And I think they're going to feature A-chan a lot more if he is healthy and ready to go.
16:11So that's why I like him, especially again, you look at him in the rest of his rankings.
16:15He's around guys like Trey Tucker, Antonio Williams, Mikhail Lemon, right?
16:19If you're hurting at running back, you could flip Lemon right now to get A-chan on your team.
16:23So I think really the position is why he's attainable in a lot of different ways at running back.
16:29And I mean, people are not holding on to him tight.
16:32If those are the types of trades you can make, then yes, I'm on board with you.
16:36I feel like for me, when you put the name into the sheet, my initial reaction was less, oh, I want to go trade.
16:43I want to go make a trade to get A-chan and more, ooh, if I maybe downgrade at running back and get
16:49a receiver back, this would be a running back ability to downgrade.
16:52Like, I don't know if you consider it a downgrade or not, but like talking about Saquon Barkley, if I could trade
16:59Saquon for A-chan and a viable starting receiver, that to me is the path where I want to be acquiring A-chan.
17:04It's less like, oh, let me give up a piece I really like to go get A-chan because I'm believing in him.
17:10It's let me, you know, trade down from a guy like Saquon that I'm looking to get out of anyways and go
17:17get, you know, A-chan plus, I don't know, Carnell Tate or whoever it is that you want to throw out there as a receiver option.
17:23To me, that's the path that I would be looking at.
17:26Yeah. A-chan also fit the theme of, if you look at some of the past running backs I recommended to buy, they've
17:33all gotten hurt after I recommended to buy them.
17:35So to beat the, beat it to the punch, I'm just going to buy an injured running back.
17:40We'll get, we'll get more into it later, but just as a tease, my running back to sell is Josh Jacobs.
17:46That's another one where if I could go, all right, I'll downgrade from Jacobs to A-chan and then bridge that gap with a receiver I really like.
17:53That's another path that I think makes sense. Um, I'll go to my running back to buy here though.
17:58I've got Ollie Gordon. I feel like it's for a couple of weeks in a row, either on this show or on
18:05the shorter version of the moves to make show that I do with Tara every Monday.
18:09Somebody points out in the, during the running back to buy section that, you know, we really could have included Ollie Gordon
18:15here and I'm tired of saying we could have included him here.
18:18I'm just going to include him here. We've, I've of course mentioned him on this show before another week of just, just
18:24outside RB one production in half PPR scoring his last four games.
18:28Obviously there's a buy in there, but the four games he's actually played since Devon A-chan got hurt.
18:33RB 13, RB 12, RB 13, RB 14. I mean, it is just the most consistent running back at fantasy football right now.
18:3925 carries 103 yards and a touchdown in this most recent game.
18:42And I feel like the name brand value is still underrating him in the updated rest of season rankings.
18:48And these are rankings that truly have been updated since the games happened on Sunday.
18:52So they're not, you know, waiting to catch up here.
18:55He's still RB 23 in the consensus rest of season rankings.
18:58And I know there's a lot of big names ahead of him, but like Saquon's ahead of him.
19:03I'd rather have Ollie Gordon. Jeremiah Love has had his own injury stuff.
19:06I think you can make a strong case for preferring Ollie Gordon right now.
19:10Like there's a lot, you know, Josh Jacobs is a name I just threw out there.
19:14He's, he's not ranked very highly. And yet he is giving you borderline RB one production every single week.
19:20And I think he's more attainable than you would normally, if there is a backup running back Erickson that he steps into
19:26the starting lineup because of an injury, a, you know, a season long injury.
19:30So, you know, he's a starter the rest of the way and his first four games, he scores 13, 17, 15, and
19:3617 fantasy points and have PPR scoring. That guy is just like locked and loaded on that player's roster rest of season.
19:42He becomes borderline untouchable usually, but because of the stink of the dolphins, because this is a backup running back that people
19:48are, you know, have been unsure if he's actually good or not.
19:51The name value isn't there. I think he's, he's way more attainable than his production would suggest.
19:56And then, oh, by the way, look at the rest of season schedule.
19:59It's the Patriots this week, but then it's the Lions.
20:02Then it's the Colts. Then it's the Bills. Then it's the Jets who he just shredded.
20:07Then it's the Broncos who have not been good against the run.
20:10Then it's Bears, Packers, Chargers, Bills. That rounds out the fantasy season.
20:13It's a wonderful schedule and he's producing and yet he's barely being ranked as an RB two in the consensus rest of season rankings.
20:20Go trade for him. Don't worry about the name value.
20:23Don't worry about the dolphins of it all. Go trade for Ollie Gordon.
20:26We keep joking about it. You should have done this.
20:29Just go do it now. I really like this call.
20:32I know that we have teased Ollie Gordon as a buy on this show before.
20:36And I think that it's wheels up, right? You just listed out the schedule for him.
20:40It's absolutely fantastic for Miami for the next month or so.
20:43And dude, this guy is dusted every other running back on this roster, right?
20:47Jalen Wright can't even stay on the field because he keeps getting hurt in every single game that he plays in.
20:53So I think they're going to feature Ollie Gordon.
20:55Why would you get away from it? They just won their first game of the year.
21:00Great schedule coming up. And he's looked the part, man.
21:03It's funny because you think about, well, where would A-Chan be ranked if he had all of these types of games?
21:08He would be what? Consensus, top eight, top seven, running back, rest of the season.
21:13It also makes me think, was A-Chan a terrible pick before his injury?
21:16Because you're looking at what Ollie Gordon is doing right now.
21:19And obviously, A-Chan went down with the injury and got hurt.
21:22But if this was A-Chan, then you would have been pretty pumped to draft him and have him on your fantasy team, right?
21:29And A-Chan could probably be doing more than Ollie Gordon, potentially, because of how explosive he is.
21:33So Gordon's obviously getting it done with a ton of volume.
21:36He's being efficient. So I agree, man. Like, no one's touching him in this backfield.
21:40So I think that as an RB2, low-end RB2, that's what he's priced to pay.
21:45A low-end RB2, yeah. Yeah, I think that he's someone that I need to make sure I have moved up in my
21:51risk-to-season rankings as well, because I agree. This is Pat Fitzmaurice.

23:16Again, it's like, I talk a lot on this show about how sometimes the best moves you can make aren't the buy lows, it's the buy highs.
23:23But I don't even really feel like you're buying that high, at least based on the rankings.
23:28You're buying medium on him because people are hesitant to really put, like, I would rather have guys like Chuba Hubbard, Bashal Tootin, Chase Brown.
23:35But the way Oli Gordon's producing, it feels like he should be ranked right behind them, and he's not.
23:40He's behind these guys who are dealing with injury.
23:43Like, Brees Hall coming back from injury. Ramondre Stevenson has, you know, the threat of Travion Henderson potentially ever, you know, coming to fruition back there.
23:50Quinshaw Judkins, I think is an interesting sell. Like, these are all names that are ahead of Oli Gordon.
23:55I'm like, I would just rather have the guy who's an RB 15 at worst every week, every time he's been the
24:01starter so far, and has an amazing schedule going forward.
24:04So as a buy medium, again, we keep teasing Ozzy, excuse me Ozzy, we keep teasing Oli Gordon on the show that
24:10I think it's time to just say, yeah, call him a buy.

24:38That's FPPOD to get $25 free after you deposit just $10.
24:41Erickson, who is your running back to sell? My running back to sell is Tony Pollard.
24:45Running back for the Tennessee Titans. Thinking back to our week two show when we weren't bold enough or strong enough to
24:52say, you got to sell Dave Montgomery after he scored three touchdowns because this is going to be the best game he has all year.
24:58And that brings me to Tony Pollard coming off a three rushing touchdown performance against the Cleveland Browns.
25:03We already talked about have been one of these defenses that you want to attack with running backs.
25:08According to next gen stats, so Pollard only had one touchdown prior to week seven's loss against the Cleveland Browns.
25:14He hadn't rushed for more than a hundred yards in a game since week 16 of last season.
25:19So to me, this looks and feels like it was the perfect storm for Tony Pollard, right?
25:24You get this crazy great matchup at home for the Tennessee Titans in a game that they actually had a chance to win.
25:30That doesn't happen very often with these Tennessee teams playing in games with tight spreads where they actually have a chance to
25:36run the football in the second half and run the ball consistently.
25:39And Tajay Spears and Nick Singleton were both out of this game.
25:43So it was a great matchup. It was a game that you didn't think that the Browns were going to blow at the Tennessee Titans.
25:50And Pollard was going to see all the work.
25:52And to his credit, I don't think that Pollard has been bad by any means this year in terms of some of his efficiency marks.
25:59I don't think that he has been, oh, this guy has especially kind of like comparing or making a little bit different
26:05than the Dave Montgomery situation where Montgomery was really inefficient on his three touchdowns.
26:09Like this was a no, definitely a great game by Tony Pollard.
26:12But this is peak, right? I don't think it can get better than this, especially as again, finishing as the RB one overall on the week.
26:19Now he's up to RB 24 and consensus rest season rankings.
26:22I would actually be curious to see what he was before this last game, because what has really changed about the optics about Tony Pollard?
26:29Well, OK, well, Spears will probably come back at some point and be annoying because he's literally done this every single stop of his career.
26:36Maybe the Titans commit to Tony Pollard more. There's also a chance that Tony Pollard could get traded, right?
26:41Is that a good thing for his fantasy value?
26:44Is it a bad thing for his fantasy value?
26:46That's really more up in the air. Do you think it's likely he gets traded?
26:51I I'm not exactly sure, to be honest. And he was one of the player because I have to imagine he probably
26:57is not as sought after as player like Jonathan Taylor, right?
27:00Is a contender really going to pay over draft capital?
27:02Get Tony Pollard, who is a older running back that's been on the Tennessee Titans for the last couple of seasons.
27:08Now, the one name that I thought was curious for a team, and it kind of goes against my buying of Travis
27:14Achan, if there is a scenario where Travis Achan is not right off of this hamstring injury or has a re-injury, a relapse or something along those lines.
27:22And I wish I brought this up on the tailgate show when we were doing our predictions for where these guys end up.
27:28Tony Pollard played for three seasons in Dallas with Kellen Moore.
27:31And he actually had his best season of his career in Dallas in 2022 when he won or when he made the
27:37Pro Bowl, when the Pro Bowl actually still mattered.
27:40And that was under office coordinator Kellen Moore, who's now the head coach of the New Orleans Saints.
27:45So that's where this potentially burns me, where I'm selling high on Tony Pollard.
27:49But again, Travis Achan, as the projected RB1 for the Saints rest of season right now, is still outside the top 30 running backs.
27:55So right now, Pollard at RB24 feels kind of close to like his ceiling.
27:59Are we expecting him to be an RB1 the rest of the way?
28:03Like, no. So I think that you can still get a decent chunk for him.
28:07Maybe if you're looking at, OK, who could be a second half strong play?
28:11I mean, I think I'd probably have Ollie Gordon straight up for Tony Pollard.
28:15Jeremiah Love is another name where if you're trying to bet on a second half breakout, maybe he's a player because Tony
28:21Pollard's been on your bench for the majority of the season.
28:24Like you haven't been playing him very many weeks because he's not been able to be trusted playing in this Titans offense.
28:30So a lot to unpack there, Worm. What do you think about Pollard process wise?
28:34I feel like this is a sharp move to make, but I do acknowledge like the trade thing does like it's in the back of my mind.
28:42I would say that the only reason I didn't include Tony Pollard myself is I just thought it was too obvious.
28:47Honestly, like a guy coming off of a three touchdown game, like that level of production in an offense that we don't
28:53believe in at all is somebody that I just think makes all the sense in the world to try to sell.
28:59So I literally didn't pick him because I was like, oh, I think people like maybe already know this.
29:04The trade angle is a really interesting wrinkle here where if he goes to the right team, all of a sudden selling him could look like a mistake.
29:12But what are the odds that A, he gets traded and B, gets traded to the right team where that then we can benefit?
29:19It's a risk, but I don't know how big of a risk it actually is.
29:23To make the point about wanting to sell him though, he's ranked once this is in the updated rest of the season consensus rankings on fantasypros.com.
29:30He is ranked one spot behind Ollie Gordon. I would much rather have Ollie Gordon.
29:34That is a no brainer. Yeah. Take the bird in hand, right?
29:38With Ollie Gordon. We know what he's going to do.
29:40He's going to be, it seems like at worst in RB2 rest of the season where it's like, I kind of think
29:46you're hoping that Tony Pollard, okay, maybe this guy can be an RB2 rest of the season and you're just kind of
29:52fingers crossed that this usage can carry over the production from this game.
29:56But again, if he stays on the Titans, the matchups get way harder for Tony Pollard.
30:00He's got the Bengals on the road this week.
30:03Now the Bengals have been a run defense that we haven't been afraid of in the past.
30:08They've been much better this season, obviously kind of slowing down Derek Henry last week.
30:12And you also have to consider what the Titans offense game script, right?
30:15If they're getting blown out, then they don't have the luxury to feed Tony Pollard in the run game.
30:21Then they have their bye week. And then it's Jaguars, Dallas, Jaguars again.
30:24Four of the next five weeks are the Bengals or the Jags or a bye week.
30:29Like that's, that's a really rough stretch. It gets a little better in the fantasy playoffs, but man, like to get there, it's, it's rough.
30:36I mean, is he on the team at that point?
30:38Like we don't know. Exactly. Exactly. So there's a lot of, a lot to unpack with Pollard, but I just think that going back to the process, right?
30:46It's like this guy had three touchdowns, plays on a bad offense.
30:49So especially because his rest of the season ranking was nowhere near 24 last week.
30:54It was definitely outside the top 30 running back.
30:56So I don't want to be, he had something like 47 fantasy points this season before week seven.
31:01And then he had 35 in week seven. Like that's just straight up for Ollie Gordon, right?
31:06That's, that's the move to make. If you can, I don't know.
31:09Like I'm surprised by this ranking, honestly, because to me that feels like such a no brainer.
31:14I mean, the guy right behind Tony Pollard's Blake Corum, take the upside on Corum.
31:18Like I'd, I'd much rather have a Corum than, than play this game with Tony Pollard.
31:22So yeah, I, I, I strongly agree. And again, I only didn't pick it because I felt like it was a little obvious.
31:29Could you get AJ Brown for Tony Pollard? I don't think you could.
31:32I mean, I don't know, man. People, people got the pitch marks out for AJ Brown.
31:37If you can do it. I, my, my opinion is that you can't, but I, you never know.
31:42Again, you don't want to, you don't know until you ask.
31:45Uh, all right, let's go to my running back to sell.
31:48I mentioned it earlier, Josh Jacobs. This is a couple of different reasons.
31:51Number one is I'm not convinced we're a hundred percent done with the legal stuff this season, right?
31:56Like they, they have said that there's open to, they're still investigating and there's open to further discipline as warranted.
32:02So you could lose him for that reason. Also, he didn't look that efficient in his first game back.
32:07I know that like, yeah, shaking off the rust, right?
32:10He obviously hasn't played for the first six weeks of the season, but 11 carries 36 yards, not that great against a bad defense in the lions.
32:17He obviously caught the touchdown, which helped salvage his fantasy day.
32:20So he ended up RB 11. I think you can use that to your advantage in selling him and say, oh, look,
32:26they're already using him in the red zone, brought him back, immediately scores a touchdown.
32:30He's going to be really good rest of season.
32:33You're getting a high level running back, you know, for cheap.
32:36If you're trying to sell, I don't think he's going to be a high level running back.
32:41He's ranked as RB 17 in the consensus rest of season rankings.
32:44The guys right ahead of him are Bachel, Tootin and Chase Brown.
32:47Again, I'd much rather have Tootin and Brown than Jacobs.
32:50I see a gap between those two and Jacobs.
32:53And yet in the rankings, there is no gap.
32:55They're back to back to back. And this is about his name brand value.
32:59The fact that he has been so good for so long.
33:02The fact that he scored a touchdown in his return.
33:05I think you take advantage of all that. And you convince somebody in your league that, hey, you're going to go trade
33:11for this RB one rest of season. Whereas I think he's going to be, even if he stays on the field and
33:17no more legal issues pop up this season, the state of this offensive line, right?
33:21The fact that Christian Watson and Matthew Golden have been so good and the Packers hopefully want to continue to throw the
33:27ball the way they have this season. I know that's not typically Matt LeForest's approach, but we can hope.
33:32Just all of that coming together. I think he's overvalued.
33:35And I don't have a great name. And I'm wondering if you maybe have a name that comes to mind for you.
33:41I mentioned earlier, Travis Achan plus getting Achan and then a good receiver combined for a guy like Jacobs.
33:46If you can do that, I like that, adding some depth throughout this season.
33:50But in terms of a one-on-one, him for a receiver, there wasn't a single name that I was pointing to and saying,
33:56that's the guy that I think you should go make this trade for.
34:00I'm wondering if you have anybody that comes to mind as a really reasonable offer.
34:04I mean, you just mentioned A.J. Brown. I think that's one that I would do myself personally.
34:09I don't know if that gets done, but who comes to mind for you?
34:13I think it's more of a situation where I think you can do a running back for running back trade where you
34:19just kind of start at the top and you just try to flip Jacobs where, yes, it looks like he could be
34:25an RB1 the rest of the way as long as he's on the field.
34:29But there's a lot of guys that you look at and see, okay, within the top 15 running backs rest of season,
34:35a lot of these guys could be fantasy RB1s, but they don't have this thing in the background going on with them
34:41or playing behind arguably the worst offensive line in the NFL when it comes to run blocking.
34:45So, and just lost another offensive lineman this week.
34:48Like it's not going to get better. He's not going to be efficient as a rusher.
34:52He got it done as a receiver, which we obviously love to see, but his fantasy value could disappear tomorrow.
34:58Right. And then it's totally nuked. Whereas if you trade Josh Jacobs for Chase Brown, right?
35:02You know, you're going to have Chase Brown probably the rest of the way, right?
35:06Playing on a high power Bengals offense. And again, I know I teased it earlier about Chase Brown.
35:11I think he was my buy last week. And obviously again, another disappointing game.
35:15Although Chase Brown did get back to the normal usage.
35:18It was not Samaj P. Ryan just vultured the touchdown, which is super annoying, but it went back to the normal 70%
35:24snaps for Chase Brown, 30% for Samaj P. So we're not seeing a backfield takeover.
35:28You know, who was first in running back points scored under expectation last year, weeks one through seven worm.
35:33Yeah. So Chase Brown, you know who falls in that category this year?
35:37Chase Brown. Chase Brown. So it's like this slow start for him is nothing new.
35:41He did the exact same thing last year. I know the optics are a little bit different.
35:46By the way, I did know it was Chase Brown.
35:49I know I said, I was like, I thought you were going to answer it yourself.
35:53And so then I was like, this is not a rhetorical question.
35:56We've talked about Chase Brown enough on this show.
35:59I just want to make, for the record, I did know the answer.
36:02Well, I just thought that was a fun little nugget where it's like, okay, we've already done this before.
36:08We've done this before. What about Josh Jacobs or Brees Hall coming back from the injury now?
36:12They're back to back just on the other side.
36:15Jacobs one spot higher consensus. Yeah, that one's tougher because I can think I want Brees to show me that he's healthy first.
36:21I know. That's an interesting one. That's where I get a slight pause.
36:25I'll tell you who I would. I like Ollie Gordon better than Josh Jacobs.
36:29Rest of season, I'd rather have Gordon. And if you can get Gordon plus, even if it's not plus a great piece,
36:35plus a lottery ticket of some kind, I would do that for sure.
36:38Yeah. And the thing too with Jacobs, you have to acknowledge that the fantasy manager that got him for cheap for the most part.
36:45And you played him last week. He was good.
36:47He's facing the Panthers on Thursday night. Right? So this is another really good spot for him.
36:52So I do agree with you that Jacobs as a trade candidate, that's what you should be doing with him.
36:58But don't sell for too cheap, I guess, in my opinion.
37:01Like you got to get a solid running back back, in my opinion, because you're running.
37:05It's kind of like a free roll, in my opinion, because of what Jacobs was able to do, where you got him
37:11and the fact that he's going to have another RB1 performance probably this week against the Carolina Panthers.
37:16Don't sell him for nothing. So that's the one thing I wanted to add.
37:20Today's show is sponsored by the perfect gene. It's never easy for me finding new jeans, since I'm never sure how exactly it's going to fit long term.
37:28Plus, I don't exactly have an eye for fashion.
37:30But let's face it, finding jeans that actually look good and feel comfortable shouldn't be this difficult.
37:35That's where the perfect gene comes in. They're designed with four-way stretch, so you can move comfortably without sacrificing that classic denim look.
37:41And with fits like athletic, slim, thick, and thick, thick, there's something for guys who need a little more room in their
37:47legs without having a bunch of extra fabric around their waist, which is absolutely something I can relate to.
37:53It's why I'm so excited to get my pair in.
37:55Whether you're watching football all Sunday, heading out for dinner, or just going about your day, these are jeans designed to move with you.
38:02Our listeners get 15% off their first order, plus free shipping at theperfectgene.nyc, or Google theperfectgene and use code FANTASYPROS15 for 15% off.
38:08All right, Eric's in time for our quarterback to either buy or sell.
38:12What do you have for us this week? I couldn't run back with Trevor Lawrence again, although he is the buy still
38:18because he has the best schedule rest of season for fantasy quarterbacks.
38:21A player that I also like rest of season because of their schedule, and you talked about this when you were alluding
38:27to Ollie Gordon as you're running back to buy, it's going to be Malik Willis for me.
38:32Miami Dolphins QB has been a top 15 fantasy quarterback in back-to-back games with eight carries in each game.
38:37So although the start of the season was a little bit rocky with Malik Willis, we didn't know if we could rely on him as a rusher.
38:45It's starting to be a little bit more consistent with him.
38:48The rushing is coming through and then the matchups, right?
38:51Again, Patriots at home this week, but then the Lions, and then you have the Colts and you have the Bills.
38:56If he's going to continue to run as much as he has done, he has eight carries in back-to-back games.
39:02He's going to be a fringe fantasy QB1 every single week just based on the rushing.
39:06And we're starting to see some of these young players in this offense start to pop off a little bit.
39:12Caleb Douglas is making plays. We already talked about Ollie Gordon making a lot of plays in this offense.
39:17Greg Dulcich, my guy, he's alive, catching passes, leading the team in receiving yards.
39:21I absolutely love to see it. So Malik Willis for me, based on the rushing, I think that he is a buy.
39:27I want to add him off of waivers and a player that I think that you could even make a trade for
39:33in some of these deep performance where a lot of quarterbacks are owned, maybe even a super flex is Bryce Young.
39:39Bryce Young has the most difficult schedule rest of season for fantasy quarterbacks.
39:43So we talked about how the start of the year, a lot more cupcake matchups.
39:47Again, Bryce Young, to his credit, took advantage of them.
39:49That's what quarterbacks need to do. But I think that he is more in the territory of fantasy matchup dependent rather than,
39:56oh, he's just like an auto star that you play every single week.
39:59I think we're going to start to see Young kind of come back down to earth, especially based on how effective he was under pressure, throwing downfield.
40:07Some of those things aren't super sustainable week after week.
40:09So I think this is a sharp move to make where you're moving off of Bryce Young and you're buying a ascending
40:15piece like Malik Willis in an offense that has been playing better and has a lot of good matchups coming out.
40:21If you look at the rushing for Malik Willis, so he has posted the league's second highest scramble rate at 13%, the
40:27most scramble rush yards of any quarterback. He has the most fantasy points on scrambles among all quarterbacks.
40:32So it's not that the offense has changed where, oh, there's designing run calls from Malik Willis.
40:37It's like, no, I'm just going to take off and run with my legs because I can do that.
40:42So I think that's going to continue. Where should he be ranked?
40:45He's actually moved up a lot in the rest of season rankings within the last week.
40:50He's now up to QB 17. That is, again, adjusted from where I think last week he was in like the low,
40:56like the high 20s, I should say, like that 21, 22 range.
40:59So he has jumped up a bit here. He's one spot directly behind Bryce Young, to your point about that being an interesting trade opportunity there.
41:06But where is he actually ranked for you? Because QB 17 to me feels right-ish.
41:11I mean, the guys ahead of him besides Bryce Young, Tyler Shuck, CJ Stroud, Matthew Stafford, Mahomes, Love, Prescott.
41:16You start getting into the guys who are really good.
41:19I'm not sure how much higher you can move him.
41:21But where is he for you? I have him 16, but I could see myself moving ahead of Shuck at quarterback 15.
41:27Stafford is an interesting name, right? He's not going to get Devontae Adams back.
41:31He's a pocket passer. Doesn't add a lot of value with his leg.
41:35It's just a matter of like the confidence level with people with Willis rushing.
41:39But I'm trying to express that the last two weeks, I think, is going to be more of what we're going to see from Lake Willis.
41:46And we know that mobile quarterbacks are this cheat code and fantasy.
41:49And this continues, dude, against these types of matchups, against the Lions, dude.
41:53This guy could run for so many yards against that type of defense while also adding on the passing, which I think
41:59looked pretty good against the New York Jets. So that's something that you can't always bank on.
42:04But I think that the Dolphins are moving in the right direction with their offense.
42:08And Malik Willis using his legs is going to continue to be a part of it.
42:12Let's do some buy seller hold trios. I did put this together before you put your names into the sheet.
42:18So there is one repeat here. First trio for you is Rhamondre Stevenson, Tony Pollard, who we already talked about, and Quinshawn Judkins against Ramadre, Pollard, and Quinshawn.
42:25Buy seller hold these three. I want to sell both Tony Pollard and Quinshawn Judkins because Judkins was my sell last week.
42:32And of course, scores two touchdowns. However, he did not see the receiving usage that we would have hoped with Dylan Sampson kind of back in the fold.
42:39So that's something to kind of pay attention to.
42:42So Pollard will still be my sell coming off the three touchdown game.
42:45Ramadre will probably be my, he's probably my buy.
42:48I don't, I'm not sure I really want to buy any of them, which is kind of what makes it I kind of agree with that.
42:55But I guess I look at it. What offense do I want the running back?
42:59Do I want the Browns running back? The Titans running back or the Patriots running back?
43:04I don't think that's really up for debate. I guess the way I would, and I know you're still answering the question,
43:10but the way I would kind of think about it is Pollard's an easy sell for me.
43:14Lock that in. So one of these guys has to be the buy.
43:18One of them has to be the hold. Who is cheapest?
43:21I'll just buy whichever one you think the market will allow me to get more easily.
43:25Ramadre's ranked higher in the rest of season rankings, but I do agree with you that I think Ramadre probably is the
43:31more attainable back because of the threat of like the split backfield and all that stuff.
43:36Which is not going to happen. I know, but just like the way people think about it in the narrative there.
43:42I agree. Because people don't want Ramadre and we have the Travion Henderson high, which again, I'm kind of part of it, right?
43:48I want to see this guy use, but they just don't use him.
43:52It's the classic meme of the Lamborghini in the garage.
43:54Yeah. They just don't. They don't want to use Henderson.
43:57And I know that Stevenson really ran. I mean, the fantasy points he got on the last Thursday game were very, very cheap, right?
44:04A lot of receiving. He caught that touchdown at the end of the second quarter before halftime.
44:08So that's obviously not sustainable. But is Judkin scoring two rushing touchdowns sustainable week after week without a receiving role in the offense?
44:15Then offense again, I just not try to buy into Cleveland Browns players rest season.
44:19So I will buy Ramadre. If I could trade Quinshawn Judkins to get Ramadre, how would you do that?
44:24I get it. Maybe I will buy Judkins. Just like there is volume there at least.
44:29Maybe if they ever switch to Shadour, the offense starts to look better.
44:32I mean, I'm guessing that won't be the case, but I don't know.
44:36I feel more comfortable with the volume going forward for Judkins as opposed to...
44:40I mean, Judkins also has brutal matchup against Steelers.
44:42This week. It's true. Like that is... The Steelers have been not fun for fantasy running backs facing them.
44:47Yeah. I don't want to buy any of them, but I think if you force me, I actually think I would say hold Ramadre and buy Judkins.
44:55I don't feel good about it. I don't like that trio that I put together.
44:59That wasn't a very fun one. Stop. We got to reset.
45:02Let's see if this one's a little bit better, although probably not.
45:05Woody Marks, Jonah Coleman coming off IR. Braylon Allen, who now...
45:08Brees Hall is coming back healthy, but Allen has looked really, really good when he had the opportunity.
45:13Woody Marks, Jonah Coleman, Braylon Allen, buy, sell, and hold.
45:16So Jonah Coleman's actually going to be my sell high because I think that the hype for him is going to be
45:22so immense because we want to see a Broncos...
45:25We want to see a rookie running back just produce, right?
45:28Jeremy Love has not been productive. Jadarian Price has not been productive.
45:31So it's like, right, who's the next running back we can look at that could have a bell cow role in his offense?
45:37Jonah Coleman. And it's reflected in the rest of season rankings where I think that he is actually the number one Broncos running back ranked in terms of...
45:45He's ranked well ahead of J.K. Dobbins. Maybe he's like hand-holding close to R.J.
45:49Harvey. But the thing with Jonah Coleman is the touches were still pretty close to split with J.K.
45:54Dobbins last week. J.K. Dobbins still started. And dude, when Sean Payton says in a press conference that, oh, we got to
46:00get this guy more touches, kiss of death, where it basically means, oh my God, this guy is going to get totally nuked.
46:06So I think that with Jonah Coleman, it's a screaming sell high opportunity for a player that you got off waivers for
46:12basically nothing after he was hurt for so many weeks.
46:15We know that Denver is going to still use all different types of running backs.
46:19And that would make Jonah Coleman the guy that I would try to sell high on because it's hype, right?
46:25Like he was fine in that game last week, but this wasn't like, oh my God, it's like insane, dramatic takeover for Jonah Coleman.
46:31So he would be my sell high because you can get a lot for him.
46:36I would hold onto Braylon Allen because I do want to see what this backfield looks like with Brees Hall because Braylon has looked so, so good.
46:43The team has been adamant about Brees Hall being their bell cow when he comes back.
46:47But again, Aaron Glenn says a lot of things, right?
46:50And a lot of times they don't make a lot of sense.
46:54So we shall see what he actually does. And if Brees Hall is actually healthy and that would mean Woody Marks would
47:00be my buy because I'm not convinced that Montgomery is going to come back.
47:03I'm not convinced that Woody Marks is any good though.
47:06I mean, so then I'll hold Woody Marks and buy Braylon Allen then.
47:10Is that better? That's what I, I mean, I would both hold and buy Braylon Allen.
47:14Like if you have Braylon Allen, I would hold him.
47:17And if you don't, I would try to buy him.
47:20He is by far my, he's, he's the lowest ranked of these three in consensus rest of season rankings, but he is
47:26my favorite just because we know what the upside is.
47:29If Brees Hall is not fully healthy. I think I would probably, I just, I just am not.
47:34I think I would buy Braylon Allen, hold Woody Marks and sell Jonah Coleman.
47:37I'll tell you what I almost did. Erickson is the buy seller hold of Jonah Coleman, RJ Harvey, JK Toppins, just all
47:44three Broncos running backs to see what you would do.
47:46But they were a little further apart in the rankings that I wanted to, to use for this.
47:51So I decided to go with guys that were back to back to back, but I did, I did toy with that
47:57possibility and I'm curious what you would have done.
48:00Yeah. JK Toppins would seem like the sell, but because he's so cheap and I think in that case, I'd probably have
48:06to just hold on to Jonah Coleman because don't get me wrong.
48:09I'm he's running back that I would want on my team among the Denver Broncos trio of guys, but it's, I think
48:15Harvey might be the guy that I want. Of, of the sell all Broncos running backs.
48:20Just whoever the market believes is going to be the guy will be wrong because Harvey, like we've seen Sean Payton get him usage to score touchdowns.
48:27Like he scored 12 last year as a rookie, obviously, you know, one in each of the last two weeks.
48:33One of them was on a really big play, but I mean, I'm not saying Harvey's that good.
48:38I'm just saying if I had to pick one, he's the one that we've seen get that opportunity before.
48:43I don't know. I'm grasping. Just to unpack again, like the Coleman sell high, because he was someone I was also considering
48:49just for my straight up running back to sell instead of Tony Pollard.
48:53But when I asked Sean Payton about Jonah Coleman after the game, he said, yep, he's got more juice.
48:58He needs to get more touches. And then the next day, and this is shout out to the coach speak index, Greg
49:04Branos, Payton already kind of seemed to be backtracking his comments about getting Coleman more involved because he was like, hey, look, he played well.
49:11It's something that you got to earn. I'm just like, oh my God, dude, how could this go wrong?
49:16He also had no red zone attempts that went to JK Dobbins who ended up scoring the touchdown.
49:21And to your point, RJ Harvey is involved a lot in the passing game.
49:25So although I like what we saw from Jonah Coleman, the hype for him might just be worth putting him on the
49:31block because I think that people might pay a lot for a Broncos running back that we've seen this before.
49:36They turned into really gross committees where no one can be trusted.
49:40So if Jonah Coleman is only getting the carries like in between the twenties and not seeing as much as a receiver
49:46because Harvey's involved and not seeing red zone opportunities, because that's where they're using JK Dobbins.
49:50I think that does make the script pretty easy for a sell high.
49:54Also to Dobbins, true carries when you include penalties, he actually had eight carries for 40 yards.
49:59So that would only be one less carry than Jonah Coleman did have back in week seven.
50:03Dobbins led the carry total eight to six before Coleman finished up in the fourth quarter with three more carries on the Broncos.
