A.J. Brown

NegativeUsage25:36

AJ Brown has done nothing with his targets for the Patriots, making Hunter Henry the most efficient pass-catcher on the team outside of Brown's ineffectiveness.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

NegativeRole12:48

St. Brown is cited as one of Detroit's elite skill position weapons (alongside Jameer Gibbs, Jamison Williams, Sam LaPorta) that makes it difficult for opposing defenses, even elite ones like Minnesota's, to keep the Lions' offense in check.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

NegativeProjection8:54

Ranked below Caleb Williams in Week 8 QB rankings; the source prefers Caleb Williams over Baker Mayfield despite Mayfield having a better matchup, indicating Mayfield is not a preferred start this week.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeMatchup1:46

Faces a one-star matchup against Seattle's elite defense this week, ranked 10th overall but with legitimate temptation to bench him. The Seahawks defense is formidable—Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs had no red zone appearances against them. However, Williams has advantages over Mahomes: more weapons, greater mobility, and the ability to generate fantasy points with his legs, as he did against Minnesota's tough defense. The Bears also have 11 days to prepare with a Monday night game following a Thursday night matchup against New England, and Ben Johnson's elite offense with a strong run game provides some upside despite the difficult matchup.

Insight page
PositiveProjection5:42

Ranked QB1 in fantasy for Week 8 despite a tough Seattle matchup; the source prefers him over higher-ranked alternatives like Kyler Murray and Kirk Cousins because in a neutral matchup he'd be QB5, and his elite arm talent and rushing ability (59% success rate against four-or-fewer pass rushers, highest in NFL; 12% scramble rate on those dropbacks, fourth highest) give him multiple paths to fantasy value. Bears have better weapons and real offensive tackles than the Chiefs, making them better equipped to handle Seattle's elite pass defense.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup10:03

Williams faced the Vikings in a rain-affected game where he suffered an injury; the source notes this context when comparing his performance to Jordan Love's week one outing against Minnesota (Love was QB 11), suggesting weather and injury complications affected the Bears' offensive output in that matchup.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeRole21:50

Erickson notes that DJ Moore's return status could impact Kincaid's target share; Moore was close to playing before the Bills' bye week and is expected back after the full week off, which could eat into Kincaid's nine to eight targets.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveProjection0:44

Ranked sixth among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings.

Insight page
NegativeProjection8:26

Mentioned as a contemporary quarterback ranked above Caleb Williams in Week 8 QB rankings; the source uses Dak Prescott as a comparison point when discussing why Caleb Williams is ranked below other elite quarterbacks despite his talent.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveProjection21:21

Fitz is optimistic on Kincaid against Baltimore, citing his team-high eight targets and seven catches (38 yards plus a nullified touchdown) against the Raiders before the Bills' bye week. The Ravens-Bills game has a Vegas total of 54.5, suggesting a potential shootout. Kincaid had nine targets before the bye and could see increased volume if DJ Moore remains sidelined, though Moore is expected back after the full week off.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection0:44

Ranked second among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings, indicating confidence in his performance.

Insight page
PositiveRole25:36

Drake May has a long history with Hunter Henry dating back to May's rookie year, and Henry has always been a security blanket for the young quarterback, suggesting continued target volume and red zone opportunities.

Insight page

Eli Raridon

NegativeRole25:36

Eli Rariton is the number two tight end for the Patriots and is sprinkling into the offense, eating into Henry's target share. Fitz notes that Rariton is moving in on Henry's game, though Henry still maintains a strong role with 76% snap share and route participation.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

PositiveMatchup25:36

Erickson ranks Hunter Henry at tight end 11 against Miami, noting he's a solid streaming option despite not having an elite role. Henry played 76% of snaps and ran 76% of routes, and has been the most efficient pass-catcher on the Patriots outside of AJ Brown. He's been a security blanket for rookie Drake May since May's first year. Miami allows the third most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Henry caught all seven targets for 71 yards and led the team in target share at 23% in his last game against the Bears.

Insight page
PositiveProjection27:35

Fitz has Hunter Henry lower than Erickson (Fitz's rank not specified, but lower than TE11), citing that aside from his seven-target game against the Bears, Henry has not had more than five targets in any game all season. Fitz is concerned about Eli Rariton moving in on his game, though he acknowledges an optimistic case where Henry and Rariton both produce like they did against the Bears.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

NegativeProjection0:50

Ranked eleventh among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings.

Insight page
NegativeProjection5:35

Ranked QB11 for Week 8 despite a five-star matchup against Dallas; the source explicitly states he is not a good quarterback and is being bumped out of QB1 consideration despite the favorable matchup, preferring to avoid the risk of streaming with Brissett in favor of starting elite talent like Caleb Williams.

Insight page
NegativeProjection6:27

Jacoby Brissett is ranked QB 11 by consensus but has been downgraded by both analysts; Fitzy ranks him 16th and Erickson 13th, well below the five-star matchup rating against Dallas. The primary concern is poor play: Brissett is averaging 5.7 yards per pass attempt with an undermanned receiving corps featuring Michael Wilson (miscast as a number one), Kendrick Bourne (more of a three or four playing number two), and limited depth beyond Trey McBride.

Insight page
NegativeRole7:06

Carson Beck's back spasms reduce the risk of him returning to replace Brissett in the near term, though future matchups remain a concern for Brissett's job security.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper8:15

Erickson views Brissett as a viable streamer this week despite poor underlying metrics. The Cardinals have high dropback volume and a history of trailing and throwing heavily; Brissett was QB 10 last year against Dallas and has compiled garbage-time production against the Lions this season. The dome environment and high game total support a second-half production bet.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeRole12:48

Williams is cited as one of Detroit's elite skill position weapons (alongside Jameer Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta) that makes it difficult for opposing defenses, even elite ones like Minnesota's, to keep the Lions' offense in check.

Insight page
NegativeProjection20:54

Erickson is boldly predicting no catches for Jamison Williams in the Week 8 matchup against Minnesota, reflecting the Vikings' elite tight end defense and their ability to limit pass-catchers.

Insight page

Jared Goff

NegativeProjection0:50

Ranked twelfth among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup9:06

Against Brian Flores' Vikings defense, Goff's last six QB finishes have been 15, 31, 11, 23, 23, and 6; in three home games specifically, he averaged QB 15 (23, 6, 15). While the Vikings have not faced an offense as good as Detroit's this season—their schedule included Packers, Bears, Buccaneers, Dolphins, Saints, and Colts—and Jordan Love posted QB 11 in week one against Minnesota, Erickson ranks Goff at 17, suggesting this is not a ceiling week; he projects into the QB 15 range despite Detroit's elite skill position talent (Jameer Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jamison Williams, Sam LaPorta).

Insight page
NegativeMatchup9:34

Jared Goff faces a difficult matchup against Minnesota and is downgraded by Erickson to 17th, below ECR consensus, due to the strength of the Vikings' defense. The source describes this as a 'matchup in hell' situation.

Insight page
NegativeProjection11:54

Fitzmaurice ranks Goff at ECR 12 and notes that while the Vikings rank number one in pass defense metrics and allow just 8.8 fantasy points per game to QBs (fewest in NFL), good quarterbacks can still produce against them—Jordan Love had 387 yards and two touchdowns in week one. Goff's recent performance at Ford Field last season was 284 yards and two touchdowns, though he struggled in Minnesota (197 yards, one TD, two INTs). Fitzmaurice projects Goff could land in the 284-yard, two-touchdown range given Detroit's elite offensive weapons.

Insight page
NegativeProjection20:14

Erickson is projecting Goff as quarterback 15 in the Week 8 matchup against Minnesota, replicating his ranking from last year's game between the Vikings and Lions.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeProjection0:50

Ranked seventh among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings.

Insight page
NegativeProjection8:26

Mentioned as a contemporary quarterback ranked above Caleb Williams in Week 8 QB rankings; the source uses Jaden Daniels as a comparison point when discussing why Caleb Williams is ranked below other elite quarterbacks despite his talent.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveProjection0:44

Ranked third among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings, indicating confidence in his performance.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeProjection0:50

Ranked ninth among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup10:38

Love posted QB 11 in week one against the Minnesota Vikings, demonstrating that a good quarterback can produce against their elite pass defense (which allows 8.8 fantasy points per game to QBs, fewest in NFL, and ranks number one in pass defense metrics). This performance serves as a benchmark for what elite QB production looks like against Minnesota's defense.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveProjection0:44

Ranked as the top quarterback in the Week 8 rankings, reflecting confidence in his performance this week.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

NegativeProjection8:54

Ranked below Caleb Williams in Week 8 QB rankings; the source prefers Caleb Williams over Kirk Cousins despite Cousins having a better matchup, indicating Cousins is not a preferred start this week.

Insight page
PositiveProjection9:00

Kirk Cousins leads the NFL in passing touchdowns and has been relatively good this season, making him a more reliable streamer option than Jacoby Brissett, who relies on garbage-time production.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveMatchup2:21

Mentioned as a potential upgrade over Caleb Williams this week; going up against Detroit's defense, which is a more favorable matchup than Seattle's elite defense that Williams faces.

Insight page
NegativeProjection7:17

Ranked below Caleb Williams despite a favorable Dallas matchup; the source notes Kyler Murray has not succeeded in any matchup this year and has been lackluster no matter who he's faced, making him a less attractive start than Caleb Williams, Kirk Cousins, or Baker Mayfield despite the matchup advantage.

Insight page
NegativeProjection8:15

Kyler Murray has not been good this season and, despite a favorable matchup, is ranked below Jacoby Brissett by Erickson, who prefers Brissett as a streamer option.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveProjection0:44

Ranked fourth among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings with confidence in him playing.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeProjection0:50

Ranked eighth among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeMatchup3:31

The source cited Mahomes as a sit recommendation against Seattle's elite defense, noting the Chiefs had no red zone appearances in that matchup. This serves as a cautionary example of how formidable the Seahawks defense is for quarterback fantasy performance.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeRole22:36

Rashee Rice remains out of the Chiefs' lineup, which has made Kelce the de facto number one pass catcher, though the Chiefs have been leaning heavily into the run game despite Rice's absence.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeMatchup2:21

Mentioned as a potential alternative quarterback option going up against Chicago, though the source dismisses this as a likely consideration.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeRole12:48

LaPorta is cited as one of Detroit's elite skill position weapons (alongside Jameer Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jamison Williams) that makes it difficult for opposing defenses, even elite ones like Minnesota's, to keep the Lions' offense in check.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup20:14

The Vikings have been historically tough on tight ends, allowing the fewest fantasy points to the position this season with only 18 catches allowed (every other team has given up at least 25) and zero touchdown catches to tight ends all year. Last year they allowed eighth fewest fantasy points to tight ends. LaPorta is expected to replicate his tight end four finish from last year's matchup against Minnesota.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection22:36

Erickson has pushed Kelce down to tight end 10 (vs. ECR 8 and Fitz's 7), citing middling production over the last three games where he's outside the top 18 in weekly finishes and outside the top 10 in targets per game among tight ends. The Chiefs have been leaning heavily into the run game, especially after a down rushing performance against Seattle. In Week 1 against Denver, Kelce had only three catches for 71 yards and finished as tight end 15. Erickson expects the Chiefs to feed Ken Walker more this week.

Insight page
PositiveProjection24:19

Fitz has Kelce at tight end 7 (one spot higher than ECR 8), arguing he almost has to see a big target total given the Chiefs' wide receiver injuries. Kelce had eight targets against Seattle last week (four catches, 44 yards). The Broncos allowed the 12th most fantasy points per game to tight ends last year and the ninth most this year, and are very good against wide receivers. In two games against Denver last season, Kelce had 14 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection0:44

Ranked fifth among quarterbacks in the Week 8 rankings.

0:03male, Hendricks. Khan Education trainingiczare. It, will change. There's still plenty of people to submit there, so there could be some alterations
0:10based off of what we talk about, but at least you can have a really good baseline and maybe some of the
0:16things that we talk about and you know where we think players should be higher ,that will end up being the case
0:23so that's what we're going to do and we're going to jump right into it, but if you want to follow along, utosthere.救l
0:30group 2 x 2 x 2 x 0 nfl Shlashrankings.
0:33Gentlemen, let's talk about quarterbacks you haven't even got to speak yet, but you will in a second because I'm going to
0:40give you the big board, the big board on the top 12 quarterbacks.
0:44We've got Josh Allen, Drake May, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson being ranked as we are confident in him playing.
0:50Trevor Lawrence at five, Dak Prescott at six. The bottom half, we've got Jaden Daniels, Matthew Stafford, Jordan Love, Caleb Williams, Jacoby Brissett, and Jared Goff.
0:58Let's talk about some back-end quarterback questions because I think the majority of the guys in the top eight or so are pretty easy.
1:06But what about Caleb Williams this week? This is going to be probably a common asked question because of the matchup.
1:12Seattle, a one-star matchup, really bad matchup for Caleb Williams against Seattle.
1:16He comes in at 10. You guys both have him at 11.
1:20Erickson, why don't you kick us off here? You haven't pushed him out of a quarterback one, but you're kind of getting in and towing that general range.
1:28Do you think you're going to be tempted at all when people start to ask you those questions of like, hey, do
1:35you like, you know, bop, bop, bop, who's going up against, I mean, I'll just throw a couple out there.
1:41Maybe Sam Darnold going up against Chicago. Probably not that one, but Kyler Murray, Kyler Murray.
1:46This is, I think that's a prime example. Kyler Murray going up against Detroit versus Caleb Williams going up against Seattle, a really bad matchup.
1:54You probably have Caleb higher, but do you think there's going to be any temptation of trying to move away from Caleb because of the matchup?
2:02I do think there's going to be temptation. I think that that is legitimate because the Seahawks defense is, you can't mess around when you have your quarterbacks.
2:11Patrick Mahomes could do nothing. The Chiefs didn't have a red zone appearance against the Seahawks defense.
2:16And I know I talked about Mahomes as a sit on my social short this past week.
2:21And then when I'm recording this, I'm like, am I really going to sit Patrick Mahomes in a fantasy team?
2:28And yep. Yeah, that's exactly what you should have done.
2:31Now, that being said, Caleb Williams is in different position than Matt Mahomes is.
2:35He has way more weapons to work with. He is more mobile, in my opinion, than Patrick Mahomes is at this point
2:42in his career, even off the hamstring injury. So that's the thing that is your saving grace with Caleb Williams is he can run.
2:49So even if the offense isn't producing touchdowns left and right, he can still get there using his legs.
2:55He used that a lot in an earlier matchup this year against a really tough defense with Minnesota.
3:01He uses the legs a lot in that particular matchup.
3:04So that's one way that he can bail you out.
3:07The Bears have extra time to prepare for this matchup 11 days in between games because it's on a Monday night and
3:14they played the last Thursday night against the Patriots.
3:17So look, it's kind of taking a leap of faith with, look, I get that Mike McDonald and this defense is elite.
3:24Dude, Ben Johnson is also orchestrating an elite offense with this run game with Caleb Williams.
3:29So I want to kind of bet on that a little bit more than taking a risk with some of these streamers
3:35where Jacoby Brissette, not a good quarterback. I get his matchup is good, but he's not a good Kyler Murray.
3:42Again, I get the matchup is good, but Caleb Williams, what he did against the Patriots and how elite he looked with
3:48those tight window throws, he looked like an absolute superstar.
3:52So that's kind of what I'm buying into. And one point that I would like to make about the actual matchup.
3:58If you look at the way the Seahawks defense operates, they create a lot of pressure with these four man rushes.
4:05They don't do a lot of blitzing. They actually have the second lowest blitz rate in the NFL.
4:10Caleb Williams has a 59% success rate against four or lower pass rushers.
4:14That is highest in the NFL. He's also scrambled on 12% of those dropbacks against rushers of four or fewer, which is fourth highest in the NFL.
4:23So I'm just putting my faith in a really good quarterback, a really good offense with extra time to prepare.
4:29And that's why I'm going to keep Caleb Williams in my fantasy QB one rankings.
4:34So same thing kind of gets thrown at you Fitzy.
4:37We could just, I'm just using Kyler Murray as like a backdrop of it, but you know, do you think the matchup
4:43warrants enough where Caleb shows up at, what was it?
4:47Quarterback 10, you guys have him at 11 that you might start, you know, if you wanted to play upside, you'd play
4:53a guy like Kyler that's going up against Dallas.
4:56Or do you think this is the, the low line?
4:59Like Caleb is just still such a talented quarterback that you just don't want to mess around, but you just don't have
5:06the, you know, the confidence in pushing him above other, um, you know, like contemporary quarterbacks, like, you know, the Jaden Daniels
5:13and the Dak Prescott's like, he's just well below them.
5:16Where do you sit on Caleb Williams? Yeah. I mean, in a neutral matchup, I'd have him like QB five or something.
5:23So it's not like I'm not taking the matchup into account, but like Kyler Murray has not succeeded in any matchup really this year.
5:30Like he's just been lackluster no matter who he's faced.
5:34So yeah, I'm starting Caleb over guys like that or Kirk cousins or Baker Mayfield guys with better matchups.
5:39Um, and I know Seattle's giving up 11.6 fantasy points per game and they're allowing 5.2 yards per pass attempt.
5:46No other team is allowing fewer than six yards per pass attempt.
5:49Like Seattle's got the second lowest passer rating behind only the Vikings, uh, opponent passer rating.
5:54That is, they've got as many interceptions as TD passes allowed eight of each.
5:59So, but Erickson laid it out pretty well. Like the, the bears have much better weapons than the chiefs had against Seattle last week.
6:06Caleb's running gives him multiple paths to fantasy value.
6:09And unlike Patrick Mahomes, the, the bears actually have real offensive tackles.
6:13So I think they're a little bit better equipped to take on Seattle and maybe negate some of Seattle's, uh, awesome personnel.
6:20Like there's no denying what a great past defense Seattle has, but Caleb might be a little more resistant to it than some other quarterbacks.
6:27Let's talk about Jacoby Brissett. Uh, this is quarterback 11.
6:30He's a QB one going up against Dallas. Um, theoretically great matchup five-star rating on fantasy pros, but this is one of those situations.
6:38You guys have both bumped him out of a QB one, uh, Fitzy.
6:42You've got him at 16. The lowest Erickson's got him at 13.
6:46So Fitz, let's start with you. You really don't have a lot of positive vibes around Brissett, not even being a top 15 quarterback this week against Dallas.
6:54So, uh, hit a, hit us with the concerns that he's bad.
6:58That's, that's my primary concern is end of story.
7:01Erickson. No, go ahead. Great in, great in garbage time, great at compiling garbage time yards, but I never want to count on that.
7:08Uh, Jacoby Brissett is averaging 5.7 yards per pass attempt and has a undermanned group of wide receivers with Michael Wilson, who's
7:15probably badly miscast as a number one and, uh, Kendrick Bourne, who's probably more of a three or four playing a number two receiver.
7:23And then point beyond those guys, Simi Fahoko, Devin Duvernay, Reggie Virgil.
7:26I mean, Trey McBride is great, but other than that, the weapons are bad.
7:31And another like minor concern for me, are we going to see Carson back at some point?
7:36Like that's another worry I would have with starting Brissett.
7:39Like what do the Cardinals have to play for at this point?
7:43Isn't Beck banged up though? Doesn't he have like a back?
7:46Oh, is he? Yeah. Oh, okay. He's dealing with like, he had, I've been hearing reports or seeing reports that he has
7:53like back spasms, which is why he hasn't been suiting up as, so I think that risk isn't as, as prevalent here, but obviously in future matchups.
8:01Yeah. It's something to consider. Yeah. I'd seen the thing about the back spasms a couple of weeks ago.
8:07I didn't realize he might not be good to go for this game.
8:11So yeah, take that off the table, but the, uh, the badness for Jacoby Brissett remains.
8:16Well, a level of badness isn't to 16, but it's a 13.
8:20It's not a QB one for you. What do you want to add Erickson on Brissett?
8:25I'd start him over Kyler Murray, who has also kind of not been good and has also been a good matchup.
8:32They're playing in a dome. I like that really high game total.
8:35He was QB 10 last year when he faced the Dallas Cowboys.
8:39So I think that you're just kind of betting on the garbage time with Jacoby Brissett.
8:44The Arizona Cardinals do have a lot of dropbacks overall this season, and we've seen matchups where they're trailing and they throw the ball a ton.
8:52So I'm willing to look at Brissett as a streamer this week.
8:56I don't know if I like him that more than like Kirk Cousins though, for example, Kirk Cousins leads the NFL passing touchdowns, right?
9:03At least he's been good, relatively speaking. Whereas Brissett, you're really banking on that second half type of production, but he has
9:10done it a couple of times this year, did against the Lions.
9:14So I think that he's on the fringe if you need a spot start.
9:18Yeah. As much as I dumped on Jacoby Brissett, got him ranked ahead of 12 quarterbacks this week.
9:24So yeah, matchup with Dallas, that will perfume away a lot of the badness.
9:28The final one on this list, and then we're going to do one that's not on it.
9:34Jared Goff, Jared Goff, there's another matchup in hell type of situation going up against Minnesota, Caleb and him.
9:39This is where you guys have like a different spot.
9:43Fitzy, you're on ECR, but Erickson, you've thrown him back.
9:46You threw him back down to 17. So I'm getting to guess this is like heavily weighted to the matchup, but Jared
9:52Goff has not much of a play for you this week, Erickson.
9:56So last six times that Jared Goff has played a Brian Flores defense since he became the defensive corner for the Vikings.
10:03His QB finishes have been 15, 31, 11, 23, 23, and six.
10:07The three home games that he has faced, 23, 6, and 15, which puts him at an average of quarterback 15.
10:13So that's kind of the range I feel like Goff should be in here.
10:18I do want to acknowledge that the Vikings have not faced a offense as good as the Lions thus far this season.
10:24Packers, Bears, Bucs, Dolphins, Saints, and Colts have been the schedule that Minnesota has faced.
10:29The Packers are the best offense, not to discredit the Bears.
10:33That game was played in the rain. So it was kind of wonky and Caleb Williams also got injured.
10:38And Jordan Love was QB 11 in week one against the Minnesota Vikings.
10:43So I think that's kind of like the tier that you're kind of looking at with Goff.
10:48Now, I have a couple of the streaming guys ahead of him just because I do want to acknowledge that maybe this
10:55Vikings defense is on another level ahead of those past defenses, but I get the other side of the argument where finds offense is really, really good.
11:03So I've had trouble ranking him. I don't think that this is like a ceiling week for him, but I want to
11:10say that I know I'm in a league where I have to start him this week because I have Brock Brady's my
11:17other quarterback and I'm not in a position where, oh, I'm going to drop Jared Goff to pick up Kyler Murray or
11:24Jacoby Brissett or Kirk Cousins because I love those guys so much more.
11:28I just think that Goff is okay this week.
11:30And I think that 15 is kind of his range that is most likely just based on how he's recently performed against this Brian Flores defense.
11:38Bitsy, you got him at 12. You got him right at ECR.
11:42So is there an indifference? Is there kind of like a baseline of the offensive pieces that they have, regardless of where that defense is throwing at?
11:51Talk to us about Jared Goff. Yeah, that's kind of it.
11:54Welsh, as good as the Vikings have been, and my goodness, they're giving up 8.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, far and away the fewest.
12:02And they rank number one in almost every pass metric for pass defenses.
12:06But yeah, it has been aided by the matchups they've had.
12:10And Jordan Love had 387 yards and two touchdowns against them in week one.
12:14So like a good quarterback, and the Vikings have not faced many this year, can do damage on them.
12:20And yet part of my hope is that the last time the Vikings and the Lions played at Ford Field last season,
12:27Jared Goff had 284 yards and two touchdowns. Granted, did not fare as well against the Vikings in Minnesota last year.
12:33197 passing yards, one touchdown, two interceptions. I think it could go either of those ways for him.
12:39And I don't think he's going to have 380 yards like Jordan Love.
12:43284 and two touchdowns, you'd take that all day if you were a Jared Goff investor.
12:48But I think part of it is that the Lions have just so many weapons on offense.
12:53Jameer Gibbs, Amin Ross St. Brown, Jamison Williams, Sam Laporta, even for a great defense, keeping the Lions in check is a
13:00tall order because of all the skill position talent.

13:37Services are available where permitted. By Monday night, the advice is in, your lineups are locked, and all you can do is watch.
13:44Maybe you're protecting a one point lead. Maybe you need 12 out of your flex, or maybe your opponent has one kicker
13:51left and now every field goal attempt feels personal.
13:54Make one part of the night, perfect. Get DiGiorno pizza ready for kickoff.
13:58Then settle in, enjoy restaurant quality pizza from your own oven, and stay locked into the matchup through the final snap.
14:05You don't want to step away when one target, one touchdown, or one unnecessary point can decide your week.
14:10Buy DiGiorno pizza on the weekend run so you at least know Monday night dinner is covered.
14:16Rankings can guide you, waivers can save you, but once the game starts, fantasy brings the chaos.
14:21Dinner doesn't have to. It's not delivery. It's DiGiorno.
14:24Okay, chicken nugget fans, I've got huge news. The new Burger King chicken nuggets just dropped, and they are the crispiest, the
14:31juiciest, and the tastiest chicken nuggets ever at Burger King.
14:34Burger King heard that a lot of you didn't like the old chicken nuggets, so they got to work and reinvented them.
14:41To go along with the new chicken nuggets, a lot of the sauces were reinvented too, because better chicken nuggets deserve better sauces.
14:48We're talking new buffalo sauce, honey mustard, sweet and sour, and even a whole new option too, the new special savory sauce,
14:55which is only available for a limited time at participating U.S.
14:58restaurants. I mean, you need to taste it all for yourself.
15:01This new chicken nugget, reinvented based on real feedback, is made with 100% white meat chicken, and is now better than ever.
15:08You gotta try the new Burger King chicken nuggets and sauces today.
15:12Jameer Gibbs, Erickson, Jameer Gibbs, touchdown. The last one I want to talk about, this is actually about Erickson here.
15:18This is your guys' wildest big difference, and it's more about Erickson's stance.
15:22So Erickson, I want to jump to you on it.
15:25Malik Willis is an ECR of 22. Fitzy says, hey, hold my beer.
15:29I'll do one spot higher. I'll go 21. But Erickson says, no, sir.
15:33QB won this week up against New England. You got Malik Willis as your 12th quarterback, Erickson.
15:39So what's got you so high on Malik Willis?
15:42Because our Dolphins quarterback is running, finally, at a consistent level.
15:45He has back-to-back games with at least eight carries.
15:48And in those games, he has finished as a top 15 fantasy quarterback as a result.
15:53You look at the Patriots so far this season, when they have faced mobile quarterbacks, Trevor Lawrence, Josh Allen, Caleb Williams, all
16:00finished as top 12 quarterbacks against the New England Patriots.
16:03The rushing is really what I want to buy into when it comes to Malik Willis.
16:08He has the league's second highest scramble rate, and he has the most scramble rush yards of any quarterback this season.
16:14He has the most fantasy points because of scrambling among all players.
16:18So it's not that the offense has changed where they're designing rushes for Malik Willis, although they did have a design rush
16:25for him at the goal line last week against the New York Jets.
16:29That's all part of the play here. So I'm just really buying into the mobile upside, because when we think about Malik
16:36Willis and where he was ranked in season-long drafts, he was a popular sleeper for a lot of us because we were
16:42waiting for the rushing, and it was a little bit up and down to start the season.
16:48I know he had that really bad game against the 49ers because they had just been shutting down all rushing quarterbacks, but
16:55I think that this mobile mobility is here to stay, and I think that's going to get him a lot of cheap
17:01production, especially in a game where if they're trailing, maybe he's throwing the ball a little bit more.
17:07He's scrambling, picking up yardage with his legs. So that's why I like Malik Willis.
17:12He's my favorite streamer this week. I'd take him over Jacoby Brissett.
17:15I'd take him over Kyler Murray because I'm very confident that he's going to continue to run.
17:21Fitz, you got him at 21. You're one spot higher.
17:24I'm guessing you don't share some of the exact same optimism.
17:27I just moved him up two spots while Erickson was talking because I do want to be above consensus.
17:33I agree with Erickson on pretty much everything. Three touchdown runs.
17:37He's run for 37 or more yards in four of his six starts, and Willis hasn't been terrible as a passer either.
17:43Not a lot of volume, but he's averaging seven yards per pass attempt.
17:47That's a respectable number, and he just got playmaker Caleb Douglas back from an ankle injury, and Douglas is their best receiver.
17:54All right, we're going to get to our tight ends and the tight end rankings, but before we get back to the
18:01show, we want to take a moment to talk about something bigger than football, men's health.
18:06This November, we're supporting Movember, the leading charity dedicated to changing the face of men's health.
18:11From mental health and suicide prevention to prostate and testicular cancer, Movember is helping raise awareness and fund important programs and research.
18:18And here's something worth knowing. One in eight men in the United States will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.
18:25That's why starting conversations, checking in on men in our lives, and supporting this cause is so important.
18:30There are plenty of ways to get involved. Grow a mustache, take on a fitness challenge, rally your friends, or simply make a donation.
18:38To support Movember, visit Movember.com slash fantasyprose. Again, that's Movember, M-O-V-E-M-B-E-R.com slash fantasyprose.
18:42Together, we can help change the face of men's health.
18:45Let's look at our tight end ranks in the top 12 on the tight end board here.
18:50Coming in at number one, we've got Trey McBride, Brock Bowers at two, Tucker Craft at three, Dallas Goddard at four, followed
18:57by Colson Loveland at five, highest we've seen him in God knows how long.
19:01Sam Laporta at six. The back half is Dalton Kincaid, Travis Kelsey, TJ Hawkinson, Kyle Pitts, Hunter Henry, and Brenton Strange.
19:08Let's talk about Sam Laporta. You guys have some different spots here.
19:12He comes in at six. Erickson, you've got him at four, but Fitzy, you've dropped him down to nine.
19:18Fitz, let's hit you with Sam Laporta. Disappointing performance.
19:20They've got Minnesota. You did kind of talk about golf and there's just too many good weapons out there, but you've bumped him down to nine.
19:28So still relatively startable, but not super, super trustworthy.
19:31Wait, I think we should go to Erickson first on this.
19:35I want to know why he's trashing Jared Goff in the rankings, but not Sam Laporta.
19:40Okay. Okay. Yeah. I knew this was coming. I knew this was coming.
19:44So when Goff finished as QB 15, the last time he faced the Vikings at home, Sam Laporta played in that game
19:51and was tight end four on the week, six catches, 97 yards and a touchdown, eight targets.
19:56So it is possible for Laporta to still be a top five tight end and Goff to still be outside the fantasy QB one territory.
20:04He came with receipts. All right. So yeah, that's true.
20:07I don't think he's giving Goff full credit for how good he was in that game.
20:12QB 15, like 284 and two touchdowns against him.
20:14So I feel like he should be more consistent with his rankings of Laporta and Goff.
20:19But what has been pretty consistent other than that game against Laporta last year is just that the Vikings smothered tight ends.
20:26Like last year, eighth fewest fantasy points to tight ends.
20:29This year, the fewest fantasy points to tight ends.
20:32They've only given up 18 catches to tight ends this year.
20:36Every other team has given up at least 25 receptions to tight ends and Minnesota is not allowed a touchdown catch to a tight end this season.
20:44Do you have anything else, Erickson? I know you were making your point on the Goff thing, but are you covered on Sam Laporta?
20:51Just really threatened the knee or just hoping for an exact replication of last year's matchup between the Vikings and the lines
20:58with Laporta as tight end four and Jared Goff as quarterback 15.
21:02Erickson is boldly predicting no catches for Jamison Williams and only four for Amin Ross.
21:07He's got it. I like it. He's got a formula.
21:10All right. Dalton Kincaid, ECR seven. Erickson's got him at seven.
21:13Fitz, you've got him at four. High guy on Kincaid.
21:16So Fitz, why don't you hit us here going up against Baltimore for Dalton Kincaid?
21:21It's mostly about not feeling good about many tight ends this week, but the last time we saw Kincaid before the Bills
21:28week seven by he had a team high eight targets and seven catches against the Raiders.
21:33Now granted those seven catches netted only 38 yards, but Kincaid also had a touchdown catch nullified by a penalty in that game.
21:40He was pretty heavily involved and we're going to see points in Ravens bills.
21:44Vegas total for that game is 54 and a half right now.
21:48So I kind of want to be leaning towards optimistic with rankings of bills and Ravens this week.
21:54Erickson, you've got him at, uh, you've got him at ECR.
21:57Do you can agree with that team total or game total there really plays in favor?
22:02Uh, touch us about Kincaid. I think that Fitz made a lot of really great points about just buying into the upside of this particular matchup.
22:10That could be a shootout. My only question marks are, is DJ Moore going to come back or not?
22:16Cause I think that would eat into Kincaid's nine targets or eight targets that he saw before the bills went on their by week.
22:23I would expect him to be back considering they had a full week off and he was close to playing the last
22:30time we saw the bills against the Raiders. And to credit the Ravens defense at Kyle Hamilton, they've allowed the same number
22:37receiving yards, tight ends as the Minnesota Vikings. So it's not as a cupcake matchup that maybe some of the long or
22:44season long numbers would necessarily suggest that being said, the game script is really what kind of put him over the top.
22:51All right. Uh, next up is Travis Kelsey who comes in at tight end eight fits.
22:56You've got him at seven Erickson. You've pushed him down.
22:59You've pushed a couple of these tight ends down.
23:02You got them down at 10 again. Not that you hate or anything like that.
23:06But, um, talk to us about the push down.
23:09I'm curious as I'm trying to look like, who do you have?
23:13Do you have like Hawkinson? Do you have pits above who are the guys you have above Kelsey right now?
23:19I've Hawkinson ahead of him. And I don't know why he's not rent.
23:23Strange should be like a locked and loaded tight end to smash this week.
23:28He's 12 on the list, but I got him five.
23:31Oh, like I'm dude. He has been really, really good.
23:34He was heating up before the team's bi-week and he's facing the Colts who have been a sieve against tight ends this season.
23:41So I think Brent Strange is like one of my favorite plays this week, but so he's one of the guys that
23:48have ranked against Kelsey, just Kelsey kind of been middling production wise.
23:51Again, the chiefs passing attack hasn't been that great over the last couple of games, last three games.
23:57He's outside the top 18 and weekly finishes. He's outside the top 10 in terms of targets per game among tight ends.
24:04And this has been without Rashi Rice in the lineup.
24:07So even though he has been like the de facto number one pass catcher, the chiefs obviously have been leaning a lot into the run game.
24:15They did that the first time they faced the Denver Broncos.
24:18They ran all over them with Ken Walker in his chiefs debut.
24:22I would expect that after a down game from the rushing attack against Seattle, they get back to the basics with feeding Ken Walker.
24:30And although Kelsey had 71 yards in the first game against the Broncos in week one, he only had three catches and
24:37he was tight end 15 on the week. So I think that he is back end fantasy tight end one.
24:43Obviously if he scores, that's going to change the narrative on him.
24:46So that's why I still have him as a fantasy tight end one, but just a couple of guys I like a little bit more.
24:54Pitsy, you got him at seven. You got him one spot higher than ECR.
24:59Where are you at on Kelsey? I just feel like he almost has to see a big target total with all the wide receiver injuries the chiefs have.
25:07He had eight targets against Seattle last week, although just four catches for 44 yards, kind of a horrible offensive night for the chiefs generally.
25:15And the Broncos gave up the 12th most fantasy points per game last year to tight ends and have allowed the ninth most this year.
25:23Very good against wide receivers, not so good against tight ends.
25:26And in two games against the Broncos last season, Travis Kelsey had 14 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown.
25:32Final one here is Hunter Henry who comes in at 11.
25:36Erickson, you got him at 11. Fitz, he's got the low is the low man on him.
25:41But Erickson, let's start with you on your you've obviously it's funny because Henry is one spot higher than strange, but strange
25:48is clearly like your huge play this week. So you've got him a bunch higher than Hunter Henry.
25:54But where are you at against Miami? Obviously, we've seen Eli Raritan get more involved.
25:58But I mean, I don't know. Henry's just kind of a constant.
26:02He doesn't belong in the circle of trust of tight ends, but he's definitely in that next crew where like you could
26:09be a lot worse off if you're going with Henry.
26:12So you got him at 11. Yeah, it's a bit more of a matchup dependent because he doesn't have to say like
26:19the most elite role in the offense, but it's still pretty good.
26:2376% of the snaps, 76% of the routes run.
26:25Eli Raritan obviously does sprinkle in as the number two tight end.
26:29But outside of AJ Brown doing nothing with his targets, Hunter Henry has been the guy that's been the most efficient.
26:36And remember, he's played with Drake May the longest dating back to Drake May's rookie year.
26:41Hunter Henry has always been a security blanket for his young quarterback.
26:44And it's interesting when you're looking at the matchup tool on the rankings, it's a five star matchup versus the wide receivers,
26:51which is zero stars or one star because the production for fantasy has been going through tight ends that have faced the Miami Dolphins defense this year.
27:00Third most Manny's points allowed to tight ends. Hunter Henry's coming off a really strong game, caught all seven of his targets
27:06for 71 yards, led the team in target chair at 23%.
27:10So I get that it may never be a hundred yard game for Hunter Henry, but you know, he's got a lot
27:17of red zone equity and I believe the Patriots are going to score points on Miami's defense.
27:22So I think Henry, if you pick them up on waivers, if you're just looking for a streaming option this week, I think he's a really good option.
27:31Fitzy, a final bit here. You, you're the kind of the lower man on M14.
27:35You just don't have him as a tight end one this week.
27:39Uh, negative, negative thoughts on Henry or just did it work out that we do have a couple of tight ends that
27:46you liked more that were more in the streaming range?
27:49Yeah, that's kind of it. Mainly the fact that aside from the seven catch game, uh, seven target game against the bears,
27:56Henry has not had more than five targets in a game all season.
28:00And I feel like Eli Raritan is kind of moving in on his game, but I could see the optimistic case for him.
28:07Maybe it's another game like the game against the bears where the Patriots tight ends have more success than the wide receivers
28:14because bears against the bears, the Patriots receivers didn't do much in Henry and Raritan both had pretty good games that week.
28:21So maybe we see the same sort of thing against Miami.
28:24All right, there you go, friends. Those are your quarterbacks.
28:27Those are your tight ends. You guys can drop any comments below on some of your favorite plays at quarterback and tight
28:34end, but we got you set for week eight.
