Newly-signed tight end Chig Okonkwo is being used with versatility across the offense, running routes like a big receiver according to Terry McLaurin. ESPN reports that Okonkwo can be used all over the field, and his versatility was evident in Thursday's practice. The tight end room as a whole has expanded its route tree significantly compared to the previous two seasons, with Okonkwo and others running five-step ins, corners, options, and flat routes.
