Goff is entering his third coordinator in three seasons with new offensive coordinator Drew Petzing replacing John Morton; Petzing's prior offenses with Arizona never finished higher than 11th in total yards, but he will have significantly better personnel in Detroit. Goff still produced 4,564 yards and 34 touchdowns despite Campbell calling plays mid-season, and he expressed optimism about working with Petzing, saying 'There will be growing pains, there always is. But up to this point, it's been really, really good. I've had a lot of fun working with him.'
