Yahoo Fantasy Football on Chris Godwin

Godwin faces Bengals, Browns, Vikings in first three weeks; all top-5 WR defenses.

Godwin faces a challenging early-season schedule with the Bengals, Browns, and Vikings all ranking inside the top five for fewest fantasy points given up to wideouts in 2025, while the Packers joined the Vikings and Browns in the top 10 for lowest receiving yards permitted. The Buccaneers offense is on the verge of a bounce-back campaign after dealing with injuries, and the departure of Mike Evans opens up opportunity for Godwin to step forward, but the schedule may delay that launch slightly. The source still believes Godwin is a solid target at his current ADP, and if he stumbles out of the blocks in September, fantasy managers should go out of their way to buy low into the Bucs' passing attack.
